Can you imagine making a company that’s based around interactive and engaging books that were full of talking about serious issues (transphobia, trauma, mental health, misogyny, etc.) and that were truly immersive with complex characters and plots. And years later all those wonderful books have been pushed to the side and replaced with superficial, boring, and harmful books with the only goal to make money

The moment PB pushed away books like ILITW, TC&TF, ES and so forth and began writing books like Surrender, TNA, WB, etc., they lost their passion for writing complex and engaging books

July Choices Insiders Tidbits

Early TBB sketches. Gives me TNA and BaBu vibes. Really hope that the married couple are both goc and LIs. Because I don't want to break a marriage up. And I really hope it's not single LI and the wife/canon female is infertile or some shit.

The sport book is goc so that's cool. Not crazy about sports but I bet the romance will overshadow it anyway.

The emojis for Alpha has a backpack in it 😩, I don't really care for the books that take place in school setting. Bet Alpha is going to be similar to Teen Wolf or whatever werewolf TV series played.

Not going to lie, this summary of DLS has got my interest piqued! I wasn't crazy by the sexy book cover but this summary looks like it might be more than just a romance/smut book. I love mystery!

You know I feel like COP 2, Kindred and BOLAS 2, are pb's good books for the year, besides Guinevere that is. So I don't have super high hopes for October-December lol

Week 51.2/52: December 19th - December 25th 2022 | Christmas Trees! 🎄

Every year I go on a Christmas tree hunt aka I go around downtown to take photos of the trees in the hotels (surprisingly have never gotten kicked out of places but ya lol). This year I saw on XHS that Rosewood Hotel has super pretty decorations so of course I just zoomed there. It is the prettiest Christmas set up I have EVER seen!!!!! There were actually two people sitting on the couch next to the tree while I took these... so awkward LMAO especially when the man said “nice pose” lol...... he’s an old man LOL so not as creepy as it sounds but still.. wtf.... After Rosewood Hotel, I had to go to McArthurGlen Outlet to pick up bf’s Christmas gift so I did that and then took a photo with the giant tree in there. There are so many cute decorations at the outlet - worth the visit during holiday season. 

Did I mention HOW COLD IT WAS ON THIS DAY?????? NEVER AGAIN!

'As much as I love to clown on TNA, I don't think it's quite as terrible as a series. Sure, it's got generic smut writing and an eyeroll-worthy premise, but it has some redeeming qualities. That being said, I definitely think the sequels are unnecessary. They have their share of redeeming qualities too, but for the most part, the series as a whole is better off without them. Book 1 had a straightforward story: Nanny MC has affair with engaged CEO boss. It's exactly what the cover advertises. The whole theme of the story is how scandalous this affair is. And honestly? The ending it got was pretty solid and fitting for the story. It wasn't brilliant by any means, but it was serviceable and it did what it said it'd do. Everything else after that however? It's no longer a "Nanny Affair" really, since MC is revoked of her nanny position in the very first chapter of book 2 and is now working on an actual relationship with Sam. So right away, it goes against the title of the series and thus defeats the purpose of the series. The plot of book 2 honestly just drags, and the ending with was so clearly hamfisted in– what with the whole "fakeout death" cliche– for the sake of extending the series. Following that is more drama that just drags on.' At the very most, if PB really wanted to show a continuation of the series, they should have just kept it to maybe one or two side stories.'
