okay can i request a technoblade x male!reader, where techno and the reader are fighting someone *maybe quackity its not important tho) together and the reader gets injured, techno gets worried but realizes the reader can handle himself? sorry if thats too specific
I have combined this request and another request for a male reader fluff fanfic, so the ending is a little softer than a fighting fic may usually be! However, this is basically gender-neutral, whenever I added gender-specific pronouns it seemed really forced?? So I just left that out, I hope that’s okay! Enjoy :D
Underestimated
It had only been a few days since Quackity’s butcher army attempted to publicly execute Technoblade. He hadn’t left your side since he returned home, hand in yours or arm wrapped around your waist as if to remind himself you were still here with him despite everything. Techno had been making preparations for another attack when he knew they would inevitably return to try again. But Techno never knows when to stop and start taking care of himself, that’s when you stepped in to pull him away from his plans and into your arms. It was as if the second his head hit your chest all adrenaline he had been running on the past few days, ran out. That was about 6 hours ago, and the two of you still had no intent on moving any time soon.
Your hands toyed with his hair as he continued to read slowly to you, glasses reflecting the soft warm glow from the nearby fire. It’s crackles had slowly been lulling you to sleep against Techno’s chest, mouth pressed loosely against his calm pulse. His hand rubbing soft circles into your skin at your back beckons you deeper into your subconscious, the soft rumbling of his voice fading fast in your ears.
A slam of the front door sends both yourself and Techno bolting up, tangled in long limbs and a lack of space as Phil comes into view from around your fireplace. “Quackity’s headed here!” Phil chokes out, obviously having run a considerable distance to deliver such a message, Techno stands, and you follow suit. “Already? He’ll be underprepared.” Techno mused, moving to start gathering his supplies. Tools recently sharpened, potions brewed days ago, and stacks of fireworks prepped for firing.
You mirror his actions, gathering your weapons with a bridled enthusiasm. You hadn’t been home when Quackity and his army had taken Technoblade and you had beat yourself up over that fact. Knowing that perhaps the outcome could have been different if you’d been there, you were going to make sure that was the case this time. Mind distracted by theoretical outcomes you equip your armour with practiced familiarity, knowing you’ve done this hundreds of times before. But only this time did it truly matter.
A hand presses to your shoulder and you turn, “You’re staying inside the house. You know I can’t lose you, not now, not ever.” His hand moves from your shoulder to your hips, squeezing softly. Your eyes search his and only find pain and worry. “I’m fighting with you; you know I can handle myself Tech.” He looks away from your face, unable to meet your gaze.  He knows you’re right.
And he also knows you won’t take no for an answer. Especially considering they were able to take him to Manberg last time. “Fine.” He huffs out, “But you have to keep this.” Techno takes the golden charm off of his shirt, the small totem’s eyes glinting as he pins it to your shirt. You open your mouth to question him, “I have another for myself, don’t worry.” He meets your eyes then but only for a second, pulling you tightly to his chest. “Be safe my love.” His lips press soft atop your hair, “I always am.” You raise your head and meet his lips, hand cupping the back of his neck before pulling away with a smile. “Time to kick ass, huh?”
Even on the battlefield, you can tell that Technoblade is still worried, he is distracted by your presence in the fight. You intend to prove during this fight that his anxiety is for naught, Quackity didn’t even bother with a spiel about how Techno deserves this and he’s going to get justice instead opting to fight instantly. His butcher army stood by his side and seemed to assume Technoblade would be alone, Phil and yourself rid them of that assumption as quick as it had come. You were quick to notice they were down a man, Ranboo was missing. Technoblade was right, they were underprepared.
Fundy’s blade clashed with your own, drawing your eyes off of Techno and onto him. “He has to face justice; can’t you see that!?” There was no skill or nuance to his attacks only power behind them making them hard to block but easy to predict. However, you were breaking a sweat as he finally managed to nick your shoulder, with a particularly quick thrust of his sword your armour fracturing upon impact. You muffle your cry of pain with a grunt, nailing the fox hybrid with a deep slash across his chest. Fundy fell backward with a cry, shaking as you stab downwards into his chest and finish the job, his body disappearing and his items popping out of seemingly thin air.
You look over to where you last saw Phil, Tubbo now squirming futilely beneath his sandal. Your head whips around as Quackity screeches, bloody body barely making it to the ground before disappearing. It seems you’d at least get a good haul of loot from these idiots. Techno’s eyes are frantic searching for you for a moment, you watch as his body visibly relaxes when he spots you. “Are you alright?” His hands are all over you, feeling for any injuries. You intake sharply when he gets to your shoulder and he growls, “That bastard.” You place your hand over his, “It’s merely a scratch Tech. I’m fine. Are you okay?” You are acutely aware of the growing patch of crimson on his torso, white shirt stained dark. “Nothing I can’t patch up.” He grumbles, hands tentatively pressing on and around the area.
Techno refuses to let you patch him up first, practically throwing you onto the kitchen table so he can get a closer look at your shoulder. It’s barely even a scratch. But you’re quick to realise it’s a great excuse for him to touch you so gently. Pressing on your skin as if too much pressure would cause you to shatter completely. “You dropped your arm to avoid the brunt of the force behind his blade,” Techno observes looking to you to confirm, you shrug lightly in response. “I’ve seen you do it before. Watched you do it the other day when you were sparring with Phil.”
He nods solemnly, deciding he truly can’t do anything about your shoulder. Due to it being a scratch and nothing more, as you had said several times. “Well, for someone who just watched me do it you completed the move pretty well.” His eyes can’t meet yours and you smile softly, “Eh, my reflexes are just pretty good. Not a whole lotta skill involved for me.” You are quick to change the subject, ushering him onto the table so you can look at his torso wound.
Your fingers are nimble, working through each stitch with a practiced precision that Techno watches with a keen but relaxed eye. You’re usually the one to patch him up, he can do it sure, you’re just better. And maybe he secretly likes how close you have to get to him and how gentle your hands work against his skin. “I was watching you… during the battle I mean, you made short work of Fundy.” Your hands still for a moment fumbling with the bandage, your eyes move to his and he looks away quickly. “You were? I uh, he isn’t traditionally trained or anything, so he wasn’t much of an opponent.”
You force yourself to keep your brain on track, tightening the bandage around his middle as gently as you can. One of his hands grabs your wrist, you still immediately and meet his eyes. “I… you really can’t take a compliment, can you?” His sigh is soft, and his eyes are warm, “What I’ve been trying to say is that I’m sorry for underestimating your skills and that I’m proud to fight by your side.” Even as he says such sweet things, he still can’t seem to hold your gaze. The grin on your face is enough to bring his gaze back however, “Best be getting used to fighting with me then because I don’t plan on budging anytime soon.” Your lips press firmly to his cheek a few times before he turns his head to catch your lips.
“We can start training tomorrow because I’m still exhausted.” Techno groans, shifting to get off of the table, your hand finding his with ease and leading him back over to the fire where the two of you had been hours earlier. That’s when you notice his hair, you gasp softly and take a seat in front of the fire. Techno moves to sit behind you, you quickly pat the ground in front of you. “Your braid’s come loose, let me fix it for you.”
He moves with vigor at your words, knowing your nimble hands against his scalp will send him to sleep in minutes. The warm glow of the fire highlights his bright eyes as they peek back at you every few moments, “Head forward, my prince.” You press a few soft kisses to the back of his head and his hands snake around to knead your soft thighs. You huff out a breath of air as your cheeks heat up at his ministrations
“I’m trying to focus on your hair here.” You grumble, “What?” You can hear the smirk in his voice, so in retaliation, you focus your full attention on his hair, not noticing his hands on your thighs begin to slow their movements until they stop, and you’ve finished the braid. “Techno?” The soft snoring you hear in response warms your chest and you carefully manoeuvre him to lay down on the plush fur rug in front of your fireplace.
He’s normally a light sleeper, which means he truly must’ve been exhausted by that fight. You quietly lay next to him, tangling your legs and wrapping an arm over his chest being careful near his wound. “I love you, Techno.” A kiss to the side of his face doesn’t wake him as the crackling fire and howling of the chilly wind outside lulls you into a peaceful sleep.

Aftermath
Part 2 of my previous DSMP fanfic.
A/N: Honestly not too happy with how this one turned out, its a lot shorter than the other one and I wasnt really too sure on where I was going with it, but I hope you enjoy nonetheless! Also, just like last time im still new to this whole fanfic thing so if theres any TW I should be adding please let me know because im honestly not sure.
They all stood in horror watching the last of the explosions go off. Every last one of them unsure of what to do and how to react to seeing their friend die right before their eyes, and as the finality of this fell in, the hands holding Fundy back loosened their grip.
Immediately Fundy took off, not even sparing a second to think of the possible danger of stepping into what is essentially a minefield, he was only thinking about finding her, his brain repeating the same phrase over and over “She can't be dead, she can't be dead, she can't be dead.” playing like a broken disc as he ran to where she last was.
The others soon joined Fundy in his search, although much more cautiously, scouring the land for any trace of her, hoping to find her alive, but more likely to at least find a strip of fabric to remember her by.
After a while of scouring the ground with no results aside from the hat, they realized that Dream and Co. were still watching them, showing no signs of regret in what they did. They had come with the intention to destroy L’manburg and prepared to kill to do so.
At this realization Tommy gathered everyone into a hole in the ground that lay under the caravan. Reluctant to leave the search for their friend behind, but understanding that it was far too dangerous to stay where they were, they followed him, Wilbur practically having to drag Fundy with him, trying to calm him down as they went, however that's a difficult task when you have an angry green blob man giving you a death glare behind a mask.
Following the tunnel they reached a room built out of obsidian, and as they all arrived Tommy spoke frantically.
“Okay I thought, you know the odds are they’re probably gonna win this war’” He began “So I thought, okay here’s what we’re gonna do, I don’t think we can win this. You saw what happened out there, they killed our woman.” Slowly as he went on his voice started to calm down. “No, killed isn't the right word, they, they, oh what's the word” he muttered.
“Murdered?” Fundy offered out of the blue, causing everyone to look at him with concern. “What? Am I wrong?” He questioned with a mix of rage and sorrow in his tone, an unnatural mix of emotions for them to hear from the usually joyful and hardworking fox.
“What do you mean, am I wrong?” Tommy spit out in anger “Of course you're wrong, do you really think that she would die so easily? She's not just any woman Fundy, she's a L’manburg citizen and no L’manburg citizen is getting taken out that easily.” Tommy spoke those words with a finality that left no room for argument.
Fundy hung his head in shame, ears pulled back tight against his head “I know, I know, sorry, i'm just worried for her, what if she's seriously injured and Dream finds her before us?” His voice filled with anxiety, only increasing as he continued rambling about different possibilities, until finally he reached the one they all dreaded the most “Tommy, what if you're wrong?”
Silence filled the air, no one daring to respond to him, for they all know that he was right. She may have been a L’manburg citizen, but no one could have survived an explosion like that from such a close range.
Wilbur, having stood quietly for the entire time the rest had been speaking, decided to draw everyone's attention back to the most pressing issue, “We have to negotiate surrender, Tommy I want you to come with me but do not run your mouth, got that?”
Tommy responded affirmatively and Wilbur continued, directing his words at the other two in the room who were waiting expectantly for orders. “Both of you can come with as well but don't say a word.”
And with that they set off, heading to the exit of the room to confront Dream.

A few years ago, the world was normal. Everyone was happy, trees grew, grass swayed, animals grazed, children laughed. But then what happened? The dragon broke through, bringing the disease with her, the dragon broke through and brought her world with her. The disease so optimistically named 'The End'. We lost the badlands first, the miners and their families succumbed to the virus. It's a wasteland, not that it was much before but now it's awful, it's like walking through a portal with no borders. One second you're in a beautifully lonely landscape of reds browns and golds and the next second the sky is gone, it's a suffocating purple static and the ground beneath you is cold and blanched. The plains next door to the badlands was stolen easily, and soon the vast birch forests fell with it. The last time she struck, she struck closer to home than she ever has before. Lone adventurers build houses for their families, dotted around the infinite landscapes. Our group of 25 thought we were too far away to worry. Apparently not.
 Flashback yeet
Market, ugh, I grimace, avoiding the gazes of greedy villagers, their hungry stares searching for emeralds. Nate grips my hand, pulling me further through the crowd, "Where are we going?" I shout over the hubbub of chattering voices. "Zak said they'd meet us here, we're already late!" He shouts over his shoulder, "Just trust me," I sigh, adjusting the shimmering iron helmet adorning my head, holding it down with my free hand. Our glowing wings draw some eyes, jealous gazes from fellow adventurers, wondrous gazes from children. "Nate! There you are!" Another voice makes me direct my gaze upwards to a certain diamond clad flyboy. "Zak! You're gonna crash!" I shout, he's flying too close to people's heads, "Pull up you idiot!" He lights another firework, "FOLLOW ME!" He shouts as it rockets him forwards and upwards, "WOOHOO!" He screams, making Nate laugh. We continue running for a couple of minutes, following Zak's firework trail, and then we watch as he circles around a clearish patch of grass and makes a smoothish landing, beckoning us over.
The others come into view as we clear the crowd, brushing off our shirts and checking our pockets to make sure we didn't lose anything. "What are we doing? An elytra show or something?" I giggle, pointing out that every one of us is wearing our elytra’s. "You say that every week Alayna," Clay grunts, adjusting his hoodie sleeves. "Right, everybody know their pair and their items?" Darryl says, looking around the group. I nod, pulling my list out of my pocket, "Got Nate and I's," Every week on a Sunday, we go to the market 10,000 blocks from our base and split into pairs, each pair sent off to find items they are knowledgeable about so we can always get the best deals. "Vincent and I are food as usual, any requests?" He asks. I smile, "Sugar berries!" "Bacon," George says sarcastically. Techno rolls his eyes, "Sure, eat my people," He mutters, folding his arms. "Any enchanting book requests?" Bianca asks, Adrian by her side. "More mending," Tommy says. "You always want more mending, shut up pissboy, anybody else?" I shrug, "Fire protection would be useful," Nate looks around, "Did we really have to come? Alayna and I never end up buying anything anyway, we've already got all the animals we need," He says.
"You guys are free to go home, or you could join patrol," Vincent suggests, looking around the boundary at the number of volunteer watchers high in their watchtowers. "Ooh yes! Patrol!" I squeal. "You just wanna go on patrol cause of Eric," Nate teases, nudging my side. I blush, "I do NOT have a crush on Eric! Leave me alone! He won't even be there, he said he was gonna explore for a couple of weeks," Nate laughs, "Come on nerd, we'll see you guys back here when you're done," Nate spreads his wings and takes to the sky with a single firework, heading up to the floating watch island for elytra users. AKA us and a few select others because apparently we're the only people that have elytras in a 10,000 block radius that actually bother going to market. Nick takes my hand before I can follow, "Be careful, please," He mumbles, "I don't want to lose you," I smile warmly, hugging him quickly, "We'll be careful," I turn away and crouch, lighting a firework before diving forwards and letting it carry me upwards. I whoop as I let the air currents carry me upwards to the island where Nate is waiting. "You do know that like, four of the guys we live with have a crush on you, right?" He asks as I land.
I jerk my head in his direction, "What?? Who does?" He laughs, "I'm not telling, that's for me to know and you to wonder," I smirk, "Two can play at that game!" He frowns, "What?" "I know a certain pair of men who enjoy your company very much!" I say smugly, picking up a quill and writing my name on the roster and todays date. Nate snatches the quill from my hand, "Vincent," He mutters, writing his name down under mine, "Nick," My eyes widen, "They do?" "Clay and George," "Spifey?" "Not Spifey," I blush, looking out over the towers surrounding the market square, "Zak and Darryl," I mumble, conceding the names of the two men I mentioned earlier. He gasps, "You're capping, no fucking way!" "I'm not joking," I reply, scanning the horizon, spotting two patrols of pillagers, too far away to worry about, and yet... I let out a shrill whistle and a small green parrot appears in front of me. Two pillager patrols, one southeast the other to the west, I write on a small peice of paper, tying it with a ribbon to the parrot's leg. "Go on now girl," I mumble, stroking her neck feathers before she takes off, taking my note to the northernmost watchtower. She will take it to each tower in a clockwise direction until everybody on patrol knows.
It happens so fast. A purple shot like a needle pierces the bird, she bursts into a cloud of feathers, dead. I let out a shriek, pulling out my bow and aiming it at the sky, "DRAGON!" I scream, "THE MARKET IS UNPROTECTED!" Behind me, Nate pulls a lever attached to the ceiling, letting off a series of loud, massive, purple fireworks. A warning: take cover. Dragon raid. There's only ever been one of these here, long before I was born. The watchtowers burst to life as elytra-bearer's leap out of them, flying up towards us to aid with keeping the dragon at bay, archers positioning themselves strategically to avoid shooting a flyboy. My first shot lands at the base of the dragon's tail and it roars out, catching my eye: it's not the mother. "I'LL TRY LEAD IT AWAY, YOU DEAL WITH THE PATROL!" Pulling my mask up over my face, I shout towards Nate over the cries of the sick, the twisted and the damned. After the sickness was discovered: Mega made all of us masks to keep us as safe as possible. I pull out my fireworks, running and leaping off the edge of the tower and instantly lighting one, letting it carry me up and away. I crane my neck to look over my shoulder, feeling the piercing breath of the dragon as she flies after me, slow with her large reptilian body. "That's right girl, follow me," I mumble, leading her further away from the rest of her patrol.
Another firework is set off below me and I look down, spotting the afore-mentioned mute man. "I THOUGHT YOU WERE WITH THE OTHERS?" I yell as he joins me. He shrugs, miming slitting his throat and pointing back at the dragon. "YOU'RE INSANE! YOU KNOW THEY'RE STRONGER NOW THAT THE MOTHER IS OUT HERE, WE NEED AT LEAST FIVE OF US!" He shrugs again, miming coughing, "YOU'D RATHER DIE TO HER THAN LOSE TO THE SICKNESS, I'M SURE WE ALL WOULD," I grit my teeth, angling my wings directly up and setting off another firework. I loop up and over, landing with a flourish on the dragon's back, gripping the spines running down the length of her body. Mega lands beside me, miming twisting his finger next to his head,"YES, WE'RE ALL CRAZY, NOW ARE YOU GONNA HELP ME OR NOT?" I  yell, driving my glowing sword downwards between the thick scales. He does the same, sickly purple blood spraying out, staining his hoodie. We move upwards as she twists and bucks underneath us, trying to throw us off as we pierce her hide every opportunity we get, eventually reaching her head. Mega looks towards me and I meet his gaze, "TOGETHER," I cry and he mimes counting down from 5, before we drive our swords into the dragon's eye sockets.
We're too far away from the market to do any damage at this point so as she falls we steer her into the desert for a crash landing. At the last second we dive upwards, using fireworks to land softly a safe distance away. Mega grabs my shoulder, pointing at the ground beside the dragon as it begins to shimmer. The haze settles, revealing a pulsating purple dragon egg, "She was a mother..." I mumble, going over and using a torch to pick it up. Mega mimes cradling something and I shrug, "Is it even possible to hatch a dragon egg?" He shrugs and I add the egg to my backpack inventory as we begin to fly back. The chaos is still in motion, a second and third dragon having appeared in our absence, raining hellfire on the market village below. I frown, spotting the trio of George, Nick and Clay atop the largest dragon, Nate and Zak upon the second, trying to drive it away. "THE VILLAGERS ARE UNDERGROUND!" A voice cuts through the confusion and I meet Vincent's eyes as he flies beside us, "IT'S JUST PATROL AND US LEFT OUT HERE, WE SHOULD GET OUT WHILE WE STILL CAN!" Mega shakes his head, miming using a shield and then pointing to the village. "WE HAVE TO PROTECT T-" A shot whizzes over my head and smacks straight into Vincent and I scream as Mega pulls me away, using a firework to pull the both of us away as the poison takes over Vincent's body.
I watch him struggling as we fly away, his eyes turning a glowing white, his skin paling. He's gone. The monotone way he drops his backpack as it it's worthless tells me everything and I dive, grabbing the bag before it hits the ground. It weighs me down slightly but Mega grips my arm, keeping me in the air. His eyes are sad and I frown, "LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!" I catch sight of Techno chasing a screaming Phil and a tear slips down my face. I cast my gaze around and spot more backpacks falling from the sky. None of them should be full to the brim so Mega and I collect them as we spot them, staying out of the way and not making eye contact with anybody. "JIMENA NO!" I hear Nate shout through the quieting chaos. I look up after casually wrestling Adrian's bag off of his writhing form. Nate crashes into Darryl mid flight as he chases Jimena, a ravenous and violent gleam extremely foreign in his white eyes. He struggles against Nate, desperate to reach his target. "GO AFTER HER! I shout to Mega, "I'LL HELP NATE!" Finn beats me to him, diving and grabbing Darryl, slingshotting him to the ground where he lays, mostly motionless. "I'M SORRY DARRYL!" Nate shouts, the crack in his voice breaking my heart.
Mega catches up with Jimena as I reach Nate, "YOU OK?" He nods, "KINDA, IS JIMENA ALRIGHT?" I nod, pointing to Mega, "We have to go, now, there's nothing left for us here," He says as Finn returns with Wilbur's bag. "Is that all the bags?" I ask and he nods, "I followed your lead, collected the ones you missed," "GO NOW!" I hear Fundy shout as he dives past us, "THE DRAGONS!" Nate and I whip out heads to look back, our flight slow enough that we can keep up with each other. We exchange a glance, "Let's not stick around," Nate suggests as the dragons start scanning for survivors. I nod grimly, lighting three fireworks in quick succession to catch up with the other three. The six of us gain altitude, leveling out as we pass through the clouds, "Back to base! We hole up underground!" Finn shouts, "We should be alright if we hide out for a week,"
I’m in the process of writing part 2 it should come out today so don’t kill me
