the biggest tragedy in end roll isn’t the deaths of the characters in his dream the biggest tragedy is russell like in general.{everything that led up to him killing them and the effect their deaths had on him even if he was unaware of this effect at the time .. sigh.

#txt #LIKE IDK WHAT TO SAY.....?!?!?! end roll is so good at showing the failure of all of the adults in russells life #especially in the cases of mireille and kantera who KNEW about the abuse russell was going through #and then decided to use that in order to manipulate him into killing them #^^^^and the failure of the adults around him are included in how tragic russell is because its pretty clear that if anybody had helped him #it wouldn’t have turned out the way that it did #i think the best character in terms of being good for russell was chris . and honesrly you do have to wonder how he ended up... #chris was genuinely a good friend to russell especially considering everything from russells personality #to chris’s own home life.like i think he was genuinely there for russell but as a kid himself couldn’t break down the walls #AHEM. which is where an adult SHOULD have been there!!!!! #yumi was also good to russell in how she wanted to help him but she wasn’t going aboyt it properly #and her dying jusr made russell so so so much worse off.......umm<3 #anyway.
