I really feel like the polyamory option for Halsin was written poorly when it comes to romancing Astarion. Astarion barely has a handle on himself. He is still trying to figure out what he wants. He has had two hundred years of trauma with his own sexuality and intimate relationships to sort through. When you bring up the option for a polyamory relations between Tav, Halsin, and him there is just too much insecurity there in his reaction. Maybe if Astarion was in a better headspace, and had a better handle on what he wanted it could work. Hell even Shadowheart will mention Astarion isn't as into sharing as he claims. I love Halsin for different reasons, but I don't think dating the both of them at once is a healthy thing when 1/3 of the equation is still dealing with shit. And the interaction you get if you take the three of them to Sharess' Caress to the drow twins solidifies it for me. I don't know. I would have loved to see more character development and build up between Halsin and Astarion before I even felt comfortable with a threesome with them.

A small thing that bothers me in fics are when people write the density as just Merlin’s and not a shared thing between the two of them.

like it’s always Merlin’s this big deal and then there’s Arthur.

This is the cutscene where Hidan gets recruited after his defeat in a fight between Hidan vs Kakuzu and Orochimaru. We basically get to see a slightly younger version of Hidan with his urchin hair.

I don't know if you have the game, but their first fight had some funny dialogue.

Kakuzu just teases him while Hidan is like losing it.

Also this is delusion and most likely not intentional, but at the end, Hidan says something along the lines of Kakuzu's favourite proverb:

I feel like Kaemaki(Kaede x Maki) wouldn't work and would be toxic no matter what AU it was in(At least in ones where Maki is still an assassin/they keep their personalities) And all you need to look at to prove that is canon, Maki has a strong dislikeness for Kaede. Which says a lot on it's own given that she has no strong opinions on anyone that early in the game, But Kaede is the only one that Maki cannot stand. Maki doesn't like her brand of optimism, She finds it annoying how Kaede refuses to acknowledge anything bad that's happening and just continues to push the narrative that everything is completely fine when too much is going on to try and get people's mind off of it Maki spends all of chapter one just being an asshole to her more than she is with the usual person because she doesn't like Kaede at all Now, Looking at Kaede's perspective, She died early and wanted everyone to like her, Which in her way; Meant actively ignoring boundaries to basically force everyone to be compatible with her(She does this a lot, And more primarily with Maki) Now, Yes, Kaede died before Maki's talent was revealed. But it's honestly ridiculous to think she would react any less than Miu had(Miu had been the one actively trying to convince the group to kill Maki) If Kaede found out she was an assassin, Kaede would very quickly have the same mindset as everyone(But Kaito), Which was to kill her before she could strike first Kaede would refuse to be in the same room as her, She'd even ignore anyone who told her Maki wasn't here to hurt anyone Kaede would hate Maki if she knew she was an assassin, And wouldn't bother to get close to her She'd most likely push others away from her because of her talent Kaede would be the same no matter what AU, No matter what relationship they had before it, As soon as she finds out; She'd cut all ties with Maki because of it It's just how her personality is

Certain people like to harp on Ben for being mean in early season one and stick to that characterization of him throughout the entire show ("he started out as a douche and ended as a douche"), so I'd like to counter that.

Here's a list, just from the top of my head, of the good things Ben has done:

Acknowledged he and Devi make a good team

Didn't rat Devi out to her mom about Model UN

Allowed Devi to stay in his house when she was having a fight with her mom

Helped Devi reunite with Fabiola and Eleanor

Broke the law and risked his safety to drive Devi to Malibu so she can spread her dad's ashes

Immediately informed Paxton that they were both dating Devi

While still being mad at Devi, he helped her relieve a leg cramp

Went into the bathroom to comfort Devi after she was publicly rejected by Paxton

Apologized to Aneesa for how he treated her during their relationship*

Helped Paxton write his college essay

Told Devi that Des' mom was getting him to break up with her

Apologized to Devi for icing her out

Saved Devi from a creep and got punched in the face

Gave Devi a pep talk at Princeton "You know who you are"

Immediately told Devi that someone in their school was accepted into Princeton

Wanted to end things with Margot on friendly terms

Gave Devi a pep talk and comforted her after she wasn't accepted into any colleges

Congratulated Devi on getting accepted into Princeton

How ethical are revives? It’s always felt strange to give a Pokémon that’s been beaten enough to faint a revive and tell it to keep going

Theyre essentially smelling salts and adrenalin shots all in one.

A good temporary with useful properties, but i'd not run your team so hard that theyre alwasy using them, and i'd certainy allow for proper healthcare after, should one be used in the field.

One one hand, doing it for the sake of 'get up and fight more' is a little iffy, especially if youre close to a centre or campsite, and can offer proper rest instead, its far more prefrable to properly heal your mons. If however youre stuck in a difficult battle, or in danger, or need a specific mon to help in a tough situation, so be it. Its a very temporary thing, after about an hour a revived pokemon will start to struggle and crash again. But the items do buy time, and have plenty of useful applications in and out of fighting.

Situations sometimes call for it, others do not. They are not illigal, and don't do any direct harm to use now and then, however if a pokemon is that hurt, sending it out again may lead to more serious issues if done repeatedly, and if you fail to rush that pokemon to more appropriate care facilities. If the mon breaks a bone, or recieves lethal piercing damage and you use a revive, it will not fix the injury, theyll just fight despite it. It can worsen things, especially if theres significant blood loss or a wound that would lead to that, over exertion will speed up the issue. But if a pokemon simply ran out of energy or got knocked out by sheer luck of a hit, its not the end of the world to use one IF you have no other choice. It's perfectly acceptable to just admit defeat and retreat instead however.

If it life or death? Choose life. Use the tools, get the team to a healing facility. If its not, well maybe just go for a walk and rest your mons properly.
