One thing that's interesting to me about TMS2 is how we get to see Kang Seojoon's actor/tv personality versus his actual personality during the restaurant filming episodes. They're like, two distinctly different people, and I can't get over how well Sonu nailed that aspect of his performance.

The other part of that is how thrown off Jiwoo seems to be by it. He keeps glancing over at Seojoon, looking like he's confused by this man that looks like his ex, but acts nothing like him. This is Seojoon at his most professional and distant level, and I'm not sure Jiwoo had ever seen that before.

Unlike the Seojoon he knew before they broke up, this one isn't as unreserved in his praise, and actually critiques him. And I don't think Jiwoo likes it one bit, being the one held at a distance.

I dunno, guys. There's just something about those episodes that tears me up inside when I watch them. Everything feels off balance between them, and I'm fascinated by it.

Bueno creo que para ser una serie coreana donde muchas veces son un poco mas reservados los besos, en la segunda temporada creo que se soltaron un poco mas con respecto a los besos y debo decir que además ese beso no me lo esperaba para nada, me sorprendió bastante y lo disfrute muchisimo 🥰

The sad thing is, if the POV changed from Seo Joon to Sung Yoon, Seo Joon would be the faen fatale we would roll our eyes at.

We would be sighing every time Seo Joon hung around Ji Woo, wondering why he bothered when it’s so obvious what Sung Yoon and Ji Woo will get together - when it’s obvious that what they had was stronger. Theirs is a story of first love, of grief, of matching bracelets, of ambition, of enduring love, of distance, of youth and reunion.

The point I’m trying to make is that everyone is a main character in their own life. This is something Ji Woo insulted Seo Joon for: acting like a main character. Seo Joon only just realised that maybe he’s not the main character after all. Maybe the story of matching bracelets is stronger than their story of matching rings. Maybe he is just a side character in the love story of Sung Yoon and Ji Woo. God, does that hurt to realise.

Btw to everyone who’s saying tht to my star is just showing anothe “queer relationship would hurt” (bc i’ve seen some of this post) show… I dint agree with you

This show HURTS SO MUCH BUT NONE OF THEIR CONFLICT REVOLVES AROUND THEM BEING QUEER. That’s what important. They make one mention of not being able to be ‘out’ but even then jiwoo actually said tht he keeps making reasons to justify why he’s breaking up with ksj.

Their conflicts are very much revolve around miscommunication (or lack of communication), insecurity, and over coming trauma. Which could happen to any relationship regardless its queer or not… this show give the same k-drama problem that everyone watch in non bl series in a very much bl series.

Somehow for me a queer individual seeing a show that’s very much normalize queer relationship by giving the queer couple non queer related problem is very refreshing. They treat jiwoo and ksj just like any othe kdrama couple
