Very funny hc i sometimes have is that not only are toa of stone THE most aesthetically attractive toa in general but also all toa of ice have A Thing (unspecified) for toa of stone specifically. I find it funny because it lends itself to a variety of silly stuff such as

Nuju successfully evading the attraction curse due to Onewa being too fucking insufferable for his taste but ruefully realizing Pohatu is much nicer and Kopaka is doomed

Kopaka being the most attracted toa of ice ever, going "i hope this doesnt awaken anything in me" increasingly louder as he continuously meets/is described stone toa, trying his hardest to deny that something has, indeed, already been awakened in him

Matoro suddenly understanding what Macku was going on about Hewkii with perfect clarity, and then understanding all of it Again, Possibly Even Harder, when they get mutated into their Mahri forms

Kualus being the only guy who is completely normal about this (too busy looking at birds)

Lhikan, Tuyet, Nidhiki, Naho and the unnamed bo- and onu-toa having to watch the four toa mangai of ice struggle not to spontaneously combust or explode into a trillion pieces every single time the local po-toa so much as exists around them

Some more Bionicle fan art-- this time, my takes on the Toa Mangai! I liked the idea that the Turaga would later go on to name the locations around Mata Nui after the icons of old, so I saw fit to incorporate that aspect here. Most of the masks are canonical, but Tuyet’s mask of intangibility was made using G2 Gali’s mask design as a very loose basis (I blame @bioniclechicken) and for the Mask of Healing I used one of @lesbianchemicalplant‘s AI generated Kanohi-- give them a look, if you haven’t already!

(Also, continuing on with the idea that the weird gender restrictions from canon are lifted here-- Hura and Mafa are sisters! Helps to diversify the team a little more.)

So I decided to play Bionicle: Legends of Metru-Nui in the background, while I was doing something for university.... I haven't seen it in my native language (Polish) for like 7 years, and only seen it in English a few times. AND OH BOI, WAS I IN FOR A SHOCK

I was focusing on writing the answers when suddenly, I hear Lhikan address to Nidhiki as a ~GIRL~. MY SOUL LEFT MY BODY FOR A SECOND FROM THE SHOCK! I had to rewind that clip a few times and then quickly check the rest of the film because I couldn't believe that I didn't just mishear something.

But sure enough, I haven't misheard anything! How did I forget that in Polish dub he was a girl??!??!?? SEVEN YEARS I HAVE BEEN BLIND TO THISSSSSS.... And from what I've seen he's called a girl only in this film and nowhere else fhydgshdgdhd

Would that make Nidhiki gender-fluid in Polish version? Well now it does mean that. It's my headcanon now that there is a universe where he indeed is genderfluid. There it goes on the shelf in my brain dedicated to weird ideas lol

Poland really just said she/her Nidhiki and refused to elaborate. But slay I guess xDDD
