Brom rarely ever misses w me. & yeah... convenience#store woman just felt like a repeated slap in the face. it was an#easy read. it was okay. but it did start triggering smth in me so#glad it was nice & short lol. End of Men was a letdown. idk it felt#like everyone was written w the exact same personality? and#there were so many missed opportunities. so meh.

3. What were your top five books of the year?
The once and future Witches by Alix E Harrow
Imperio by Iria G Parente and Selene M Pascual
Six of crows/Croocked Kingdom -Idc, they count like one to me- by Leigh Bardugo
So this is Ever After by FT Lukens
The dollmaker of Krakov by RM Moreno
This top was harder than I though, I knew The once and future witches was my favourite book of the year and Imperio was another top, but the others...too many good books were left behind.
4. Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?
Oh, yes of course. TOAFW was the first book by Harrow I have read, but I can't wait for more, same with Moreno and Lukens. -Seliria and Bardugo are old faves-
Out of them, Karen M McManus' books were addictive, Natasha Ngan made me fell in love with her stories and I adore Dulce Chacón's voice.
13. What was your less favourite book of the year?
Overall, it was a really good bookish year to me. Maybe I just picked good books, maybe is just easy to satisfied me.
Said that, Every day by Levithan was just there. Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, I just feel like if I haven't read it my life could have been the same and I know not every book has to change your life but usually I got obsessed with a character or a ship or a scene. There are some important topics that I wished affected me more.
Also, Awake by Preston. I have read others of her books and... well, this wasn't her best. I liked The Cellar (the first one, I have to read the second) and the Cabin more. -But please, read the TW, specially in the first one.

WIPS I should* be working on.
-TOAFW Agnes/August oneshot that I'm so close to finishing and just keep putting off?
- Allen/Rachel smut
- The Basterds retail AU
- Literally any other multichapter WIP I've yet to finish (like Con Affetto or my Ace Attorney stuff).
WIPS I'm working on instead for absolutely no reason?
- Angstydark Landstrom fic that's a sequel of sorts to a fic I haven't even written???? That has no point except angst and fucking??? And I've written a LOT of it (over 10k) in the past month but I don't... want to be working on it, really?? I just am to purge it from my brain??
Like fucking GDI I just want to stick to something and finish it. I know it's the ADHD in full swing, but still, knowing what the problem is doesn't FIX the problem. -___-
*should meaning nothing more than I've set myself self-imposed deadlines that I keep failing to meet, then set them again, fail, etc. But if I don't try and give myself deadlines/goals, I'll never finish ANYTHING.

Wash 2 plates/bowls/pieces of silverware - Unfortunately, not MUCH much, but a little bit at least. Emptied the left sink. Small victories. Finger hurts a lot in water. Sadness. ✔
2 chapters - Cast in Conflict by Michelle Sagara 42%, The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow 26%, Shattered Bonds by Faith Hunter 18%. Really enjoying all three of these stories. TOaFW is doing a bit of bouncing around between the three sisters - but it’s ONLY three, and i can deal with that. That’s my limit, three. And i’m enjoying it!✔
Dailies - Waifu Did my dailies! Also, level 50 BP now~! AND! Tree lvl 10! New week new weeklies! Got in and grabbed my primos, but other than that, nada. FFXIV did mah dailies~ MSQ +0 -> 63, BTN +2 -> 66, CUL +1 -> 70, WVR +1 -> 66, GSM +1 -> 64, FSH +2 -> 47, MIN +1 -> 54, ALC +1 -> 20, LTW +3 -> 28, ARM +2 -> 24, CRP +2 -> 22, BSM +1 -> 20. 4/5 ARR BTs completed. Sahagin 186/510, Rank 3/4 Friendly, Vath 510/510 Rank 3/9 Friendly. Still haven't done my job quests, which is fine. Have the rank up quest for Vath, ready to turn in tomorrow. Quests will get done. Tomorrow.✔✔
Vamp shiz - i mean, outside of "i'm still camped out at the person's place"... Nope. 🚫
2 anime eps - Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon! Two episodes! Yay! Finally~ Will be moving on to episode 6&7/13 :3c ✔
Other things - Slept decently last night, pooped today, am exhausted, finger hurts, ears hurt, head hurts, right knee hurts, did not do well on liquid today, but it is as it is, had to restart my computer multiple times today, which is obnoxious, but it is as it is. i am very tired, very cog foggy. Tomorrow. Tomorrow will be as tomorrow will be.

Hey hun,
First of all, all the cuddles to the baby and to you and hubby for being up with her 💞
Now... I have a new WIP!!! Yeah!!! I'm so consumed by it that I had to stop writing Hunter's Moon and the only reason I can keep going with TOAFW is because that's draft 2.
No Pain, No Gain is about Jo and Jameson who grew up in the same small town, one of them poor, the other rich. Now Jameson has some serious self hate problems thanks to his wealthy family who constantly tells him his worthless. Jo on the other hand comes from a healthy family with 4 brothers.
These two have a summer fling and then Jameson leaves without a word, for the army, leaving baby Jo all broken hearted and angry.
Anyways, years later they meet again, Jameson is even more messed up and Jo is not any less angry.
They spend years with banter, and just being in each other's lives without either intending to get back together. That is until they're forced on a roadtrip together and all of it just blows into their faces like a damn volcano.
If I may add, I think Blake would really want to strangle Jameson but he'd admire Jo and Bethany would think Jameson is a puppy while Jo's being unnecessary mean to him.

But this new WIP of yours... I’ve seen little bits of it here and there and I can see why it’s consumed you! And a road trip one at that. That’s definitely fuel the fire, and I’m wondering just what you’ve engineered to push them into that situation 😂
Why do you think Blake would want to strangle Jameson? And why would Bethany think Jo mean?
