Gregor looked up as one of his two workers came in with the day’s bread supply, grinning widely. “What did you get today, Toast?” he asked, smiling at the younger clone. The sun hadn’t even risen yet, still another few hours away from gracing Coruscant with it’s warmth.

“They had a great deal on sourdough!” Toast cried, grabbing his apron and setting out the large various sized loaves of sourdough from the bakery next door.

Gregor nodded and looked over the bread, taking the small roll Toast offered him to take a bite. It had taken him only a few months to fully fund his restaurant near the Clone Quarters of Coruscant after the Senate finally ratified the bills and laws securing clone rights and housing and back payment for the war. It didn’t take any time at all for all the clones in the sector to come to Gregor’s Dinner for food at all hours of the day.

okay so i might have uhhhh stretched these a little bit lskjflkdsf but they gave me an idea for the next chapter of 'Gregor's Diner', so here it is!!! and thank you karly for the spark of inspiration, i needed that :DDD i'll get to the other requests as soon as i can, which will hopefully be pretty soon lksfjks

Summary:

fives has settled into his new role, and toast and soup are getting along famously. it's almost a peaceful time for the diner - until anakin shows up again, this time with ahsoka in tow. gregor finds himself not as a bystander to the chaos, but as a willing participant

Excerpt:

“Look at these birds, Gregor,” Fives said loudly. “This one’s the same colour as the Commander’s montrals; bet the General would like that.”

Gregor wandered over, keeping a good distance between himself and the shopkeeper, and one eye on that familiarly-shaped lump, too.

“I thought he said no birds,” Gregor remarked. “Change of plans?”

“You okay with that?” Fives asked.

Gregor stared at him, trying to discern something from his expression.

“Depends. Which one of us takes the blame? We could just leave, you know.”

“Both,” Fives said. “And none. He’ll take the blame himself, if he can.” He fixed Gregor with a look that spelled trouble. “Do you want to leave?”

They definitely weren’t discussing birds anymore. Gregor poked his finger into the cage, ignoring how the shopkeeper was now shouting at them about fetching the police.

“What do you want to do?” Gregor whispered.

Fives jerked his head towards the cage.

“He doesn't like clones, right? So I say, let’s get some clones in here.”

Art WIP: 09/06/23

Usually, I don't post WIPs here, but due to personal life events and depression, it ate most of August. I want to let ya'll know I'm still working on the end of a summer frye/shiver illustrations.

I know I am a slug, but I am a perfectionist like a certain shark tamer.

(Even though I just caught some of the illustrations riddled with mistakes... "OTL)

Anyway, I'll add another page to the already 5 pages, and of course, there will be a bonus section. Again, this will be a sweet sappy sapphic story with a little dash of spice. Frye adding in the sizzle-ness. That garam masala, which Shiver always craves.

I shall not WALK OUT this time. That was a pretty good pun!

I am looking at Adam's second outfit (it is so lame) and there's an easy fix to it.

Lengthen the sleeves, make the gray parts black (and add more red accents and lines and such). The belt on his thigh though? That stays.

Some minor tweaks can definitely make it more tolerable
