today, this one boy i call a friend (why, i may never know) overheard my conversation with another friend (they're hawaiian, not just "oh i was born in hawaii" but "i have history on this island that goes back generations" as in "my family saw the statehood of the islands") where i was complaining about bad batch and how literally all the clones (of fett, aka our favorite temuera morrison) are white af, like even echo (who didn't really look like fett but at least had dark skin in tcw) was paler than a sheet of toilet paper. and i was telling them, like i don't understand. it doesn't make sense. if they're genetic copies of fett, then where are all those glorious māori genetics going????

and then i started complaining about omega because this girl is supposed to be the only unaltered clone (female) of jango fett but she's, like, not only pale but also blonde, with "doe eyes" and a "button nose" like it's kind of obvious what demographic you're appealing to here, disney

and then (back to the point) this dude (literally one of the whitest dudes i know, but he's "a little mexican" because that makes it so much better) goes "mandalorian is a culture, not a race, or species, or whatever" and then goes "anyone can be a mandalorian, really" when i continued to complain about satine and bo-katan kyrze (like they're cool, but why they gotta be white?) i tried to ignore him but then i got mad at the shower wall so now i'm venting here

because, what, anyone can choose to take part on a culture? so i could just decide that though i consider myself born and raised christian, i can celebrate hanukkah if i wanted to? because to be jewish is a culture?

or anyone can celebrate kwanzaa because it is an african american cultural celebration?

NO YOU HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN ETHNICITY TO PARTICIPATE IN CERTAIN CULTURES
