Sorry for the non-wrestling stuff, but like… you don’t understand. The fandom had this headcanon about queer Buck basically from episode one of season one.
And it only got further confirmed when handsome hunk Eddie and his adorable son joined in season two.
And ever since then we’ve had to suffer through these two going through awful relationships while also witnessing the world’s most queer-coded friendship/ family dynamic. All while the show’s writers and producers kept telling us that we were imagining things that weren’t there and basically telling us it would never happen.
So having Buck finally kiss a guy instead of entering the next awful relationship with yet another random woman he has no chemistry/history & future with?
And in the 100th episode? After the show got picked up by another network after fox dropped it? Seeing a queer character finally being allowed to explore and express their truth?
That’s like all the holidays happening in the span of two hours basically.
It’s HUGE.
Even if Buck and Eddie never end up together, I’m so so so happy. Cause we’ve been fighting so hard against all the haters and people calling us delusional. And we won. 🙌
my final from last semester that i made into a zine. cooked this one up in a couple hours before the critique (the ink was still wet!), so it's very raw and kind of sloppy but the sentiment is there. i love you trans people of color. we are the backbone of this community 🌟
