Enji: Much better. *sips the tea* Thank you.

Ivy: You’re welcome. I’m glad you feel better, but I hate that you missed your birthday because you were sick.

Enji: It’s fine, honey, really. I’m just more of an old man than I was last year.

Ivy: Doesn’t matter how old you are, you still deserve to be celebrated. The kids wanna take you out to dinner.

Enji: They do?

Ivy: Mhm. They believe you deserve to be celebrated, too. What do you think?

Enji: Well… I-

Fuyumi: *opens the bedroom door* Daddy’s awake! Come on!

Enji: What’s this?

Ivy: I don’t know, let’s see.

Touya: *carrying a cake* Happy birthday, Dad!

Natsuo: Happy birthday, Dad! You’re old.

Enji: *sigh* Thank you, kids. *holding the cake so the kids can climb on the bed* Where did you get this from? Is it a strawberry shortcake?

Fuyumi: Yep! Me and mom made it.

Shoto: I helped!

Natsuo: Hey, me too!

Touya: And me!

Enji: Oh really?

Ivy: Me and Yumi made the cake, the boys licked the utensils and washed dishes.

Enji: Ohhhh. Now that I believe.

Shoto: Light the candles already!

Enji: Alright, alright. *ignites his finger, lighting the four candles on the cake*

Ivy and the kids: Haaaappy biiiiirthdaaaayyyy tooo youuu. Haaaappy biiiiirthdaaaayyyy tooo youuu. Haaaaappy biiiiirthdaaaayyyy dearrrrr Daaaaddyyyyy. Haaaaappy biiiiirthdaaaayyyy tooo youuuuuuu.

Ivy: Make a wish!

Natsuo: Yeah, dad. Make a wish!

Enji: *closes his eyes to make a wish then opening them again and blowing out his candles*

Ivy and the kids: YAAAAAY!!

Enji: Thank you all so much. Group hug!

Ivy: *grabs the cake and sets it aside to hug Enji and the kids*

Kids: *crawl close for the hug*

Enji: I love you all so so so so much.

Fuyumi: We love you, too.

Boys: Yeah!

Ivy: Very very much. *kisses him*

Enji: Thank you, baby. Now, who wants sushi for dinner?

Kids: I do! I do! I do!

Enji: Then go get ready. Baths for all of you cause WHEW! *shooing them away*

Shoto: Hey! I don’t stink!

Enji: You’d be surprised with what comes out of those little armpits. Go bathe.

Shoto: Fiiiiiiiine. *leaving with his siblings*

Ivy: *trying not to laugh* You didn’t have to expose him like that.

Enji: But I can. Cause it’s my birthday. *looking smug*

Ivy: *rolls her eyes* Yeah, yeah. You’re the birthday boy. I love you, sweetie.

Enji: I love you, too, baby. *pulls her in for a kiss*

Welcome!

Hello! This is my fanfiction recommendation blog. The fics in this blog were written by various authors from AO3, Quotev, and Tumblr. If you're looking for fics posted on Wattpad, please go to my Wattpad profile and check out my reading lists.

This blog isn't dedicated to any particular fandom, so don't be fooled by whatever my blog's current theme is. I post what I like. My main criterion to determine whether or not I post a fic here is whether or not I want to reread a fic someday. I'm a simple woman. (This blog is basically my library.)

Most of the fanfictions here are female reader or OC inserts. It's quite rare for me to post character/character fics because it's also rare for me to read character/character fics. Also, most, if not all, ships are straight. If they're supposed to be a gay ship, one of them is probably genderbent. Sorry. If that's not your cup of tea, you're free to click/tap away. Additionally, some fics may include dark content. If you don't know how to define that, maybe you shouldn't be looking at this blog. As always, you're free to leave if you don't like such fics.
