"And she doesn't sound like a member of the rabble." "I shoud hope not!" Celaena interjected." "Your Highness," Chaol Westfall snapped at her. "What?" Celaena asked.
Well Chaol honey, she is a Queen so she is not wrong in answering here.

Rereading throne of glass and in crown of midnight chapter 23 on one of the last pages where celaena thinks to herself about chaol “it somehow feels as if it had always been chaol, even from the beginning, even before they’d ever met.” And after reading that it came back to me that I will never understood why she said that like what about Sam? I just don’t understand

have you read throne of glass?
Yup!! I’m trying to reread it at the moment and I’m nearing the end of Heir of Fire but I fell into a slump probably a fortnight ago, so I’m stuck about fifty pages away from finishing it 😭
I’ve read the Crescent City series too (Ithan🥹🧡💛). However, I will ask that if anyone wants to talk about it, please put appropriate spoiler warnings at the beginning for anyone who hasn’t read them and might want to! Thank You!!

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas (reread)
415 pages, published August 2, 2012 - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Even upon rereading this book I was always excited and intrigued at what would happen next - and that's normally not me on a reread. Overall it went over the expectations I had going in for a second time - now on to Crown Of Midnight...this one I know is gonna hurt. Wyrd help me, please.

"To whatever end?"
He nodded, and she joined hands with him, blood to blood and soul to soul, his other arm coming around to grip her tightly. "I claim you, too, Aelin Galathynius."

I can't survive them. This moment is too pure and too perfect, be it for the first or tenth time I read it.

ToG - Reread, Crown of Midnight
I’m done with the second book! And again I want to share som thoughts. You might want to avoid this if you have yet to read Crown of Midnight.
Crown of Midnight is a pretty good second book? Often times I find sequels boring, or I think they ruin the story from the first book by making up a lot of unnecessary drama. But CoM is good! It might have some slower parts, but I love that we get to explore the friendship with Nehemia more, and watch as Celeana actually works as the kings champion. I also loooove how we start to figure out Dorians powers? Idk, I know many don’t like him but so far in my re-read I still love him so much. Chaol on the other hand… Like, I don’t think it’s his fault, with his parents and how he was raised and stuff. But he misses. Even if his initial thoughts and intentions were good. I’m very happy we’re not gonna be romantically involved with him going forward lol. I also forgot we learn Celeana is fae and her royal heritage already at the end of this book? But that scene in the portal is truly an iconic moment. I loved reading that the first time around!
And at last. I still can’t believe we loose Nehemia in this book. That woman is single-handedly my favourite character in the entire series. I actually haven’t read the last book yet, at all (don’t come for me!), so I don’t know what happens there. But I wish Nehemia at least was more involved from the spirit realm, or wherever she is now. Like Elena during the first book. That would have been so good! And give her purpose beyond being «the tragic death that kick starts Celeanas journey into self-acceptance and embracing of destiny». Like wth!?
Now I’m very excited for the next book, last time I read ToG, Heir of Fire was my favourite! I also have to figure out if I should read Assasins Blade first…
Hope you have a merry christmas, a happy hanukka, a blessed yule or a regularly nice time wherever you are.

“It’s a story that’s been brewing in the back of my mind for a long time,” she continues. “I think it’s going to be a very emotional book for me to write, just in terms of the world I’ll be writing and the characters that might pop up.”
If this is Throne of Glass I will collapse.
