Some days are harder than others. And some seasons of life are more painful than others. There is wisdom in letting the tears fall and welcoming the feelings as they come. Better out than in.

Feeling support and a sense of containment is supportive when wading through seemingly overwhelming emotions.

It can be a lot to let go and feel them all, but finding pockets of time to do so is helpful so it's not quite so much all at once. As well as is identifying what resources, aka supportive people, practices, objects etc we have readily available so they're easy to remember when we need them most.

When we keep emotions in, they pile up and over time become hard, transform into stress and even health challenges.

After receiving anon’s ask about TWS, I took a peak at the fic (untouched for nearly a year). Hyped up, I’ve digged out a four pages long version of part 33. I don’t know if I’d be able to get back at that level (back then, I had written constantly for over a year, and your girl had much more practice) but i’m wondering, could this be a thing for me to fixate on and escape reality again ?

I think that queer people need better solidarity, but more than that I think we really need to remember that solidarity goes two ways. Yes theres supporting your fellow queer people, but I think it's equally important to trust that our fellow queers support us.

Were pretty good at the former I think. Sure there's transphobia and biphobia and outright homophobia among queer people but I do believe thats the minority... and that the majority of queer people support everyone within the community

But we seem to be a lot less good at beliving that other queer people have our back.

Most of our infighting seems to come, not from queer people targeting other queer people, but from us not believing that they won't target us. And like I get it, it sucks to trust someone and be hurt, it's hard to operate on the belief that all queer people will always celebrate and welcome you when you've seen first hand that that's not the case.

But like... I think we have to try. Because we can't have solidarity with each other if we don't trust each other. And when we let the bad queers, and transphobic lesbians, and biphobes and transmedicilists and ace exclusionaries dictate the way we approach all queers, we validate their existence in our spaces, and we force ourselves into smaller and smaller boxes with only our own ingroup to depend on, just waiting for someone to say the wrong thing before they're a threat and thrust out. And I don't think this is a good way for us to exist.

I mean hey, just what I've been thinking. I guess it wouldn't solve everything, but I can't help feel that queer spaces would be a bit less toxic if we were better at believing each other.

I just want to say to the Les Mis fandom; please let's not fight or divide for the story of Joseph Quinn Enjolras tag and the female reader x Enjolras fics (Even if I don't like at all what's happening and how Enjolras's character is being mistreated) i think we should stay together. Also I'm pretty sure that this thing will end in one month or less. Let's keep loving this story, his characters and have fun togheter like we used to. Let's support each other and let's hope that Joseph Quinn's fans will be introduced to this fandom and will learn to love the original version of Enjolras

To make this clear once and for all:

The Israeli government has to be stopped. They are actively engaging in a war against civilians, they are committing genocide.

Hamas has to be stopped. They are a terrorist organisation which also actively engages in war against civilians.

BUT: Palestinians and other Muslim people in general aren't Hamas, as well as Israelis and Jews in general aren't the Israeli government.

It makes me so undescribably sad, that our world still has not understood the difference between the criminals and the people they share some traits with. If you are discriminating against or even acting against Muslims or Jews that have nothing to do with the ongoing conflict, then you are part of the problem.

There have been ongoing attacks on synagogues and mosques alike. In places far away from Palestine, Gaza, Isreal. This hate cannot be allowed in our society. It cannot be allowed in humanity.

The aggressors have to be stopped and put to trial for their crimes. The war has to stop. Lives have to be saved. But this will not happen due to hate crimes. They will only increase the fatalities. It has to happen because we unite against war, we unite against terror, we unite against injustice.

We, people of all continents, people of all and no religions, people of all backgrounds. This includes Jewish and Muslim people alike. This includes Palestinians and Israeli.

Hating on Jews in general for what the Israeli government is committing, is like hating all Palestinians for Hamas, is like hating all Muslims for 9/11, it's like hating all Germans for Nazi-Germany, it's like hating all North Koreans for their dictator, it's like hating all Russians for theirs, it's like hating all Americans for the war in Irak, it's like hating all Chinese for killing protestors in Hongkong. I'm sure I could go on for a very very long time. But all it will result in is eventually hating each and everyone.

Unite in love, unite in peace, unite against the once who have and are actually committing the crimes. Not the once who just happen to have some of the same traits.

Just imagine if Muslims and Jews all around the world would unite against this war. Don't you think it would be over already?

Demon Twin AU 

Tim Drake comes across a LOA manuscript detailing the sacrifice of a Demon Heir that’s dated around the time Damian is born and brings it to the cave. There’s no other mention of what went down, but it looks like Damian was a twin and the twin was thrown into the Lazaras Pits- Tim kind of forgets about it but shows it to Damian cause he figures that the guy deserves to know, and leaves it out for Bruce to see (basically the same thing as telling him). It doesn’t really change much but there is an obscured name in the corner so they can presume that the kid’s name would have been something starting with D A N. 

Well here’s the thing: Names carry power. Damian reaches out to John Constantine to ensure that the child is actually dead, because presumably John can do that. John wants to give the kid some closure, so he does what is supposed to be a super chill seance to an infant. He pricks Robin’s finger, chants a little and the air... turns violent.

Uh oh. Dan appears, unshackled from his prison in the Infinite Realms now that John has called upon them by someone with Familial blood. He cackles madly about the fact that it’ll be a good time to bring about the apocalypse again, promising to spare the bird for now, since he would have to get answers later. 

The alarms are blaring, the whole JL is hands on deck to try and stop Dan as he attacks across the globe. They’re saving as many civilian lives as possible but its getting very HAIRY in less than 2 hrs. Robin is out in the chaos, trying to track him down with John and Zatanna trying to recapture him and banish him back to the realms. 

Phantom touches down just as the three of them reach Dan- Danny has some choice words for his older alternate timeline self, including “This is why you have no friends.” and “Seriously, you didn’t even stop to say hi to my timeline’s Jazz this time.” and “Soup time for 1,000 years and then we can talk remediation.” 

After a short but brutal fight, Danny floats over to Damian, John and Z. After making sure they’re all right he’s like “Maybe you can never do that again? Also tell me how and why you did that so I can banish that spell?” And Damian explains that it was meant to ensure that the infant twin he never knew had passed peacefully and clearly that was not the case. Danny blinks a few times, uh, a twin?

Damian goes through the shit, John explains that it was a familial summoning meant to be an advanced seance (hence the lack of safe guards to keep the entity in) and Z confirms that there was nothing special to it beyond that. 

Danny then explains, that uh, “I guess my parents weren’t kidding when they told me I was adopted. Hi? I’m your brother. Uh, I go by Danny though. Dan was me in a different timeline and he’s normally under super strict lockdown.”
