Had this idea in my head of Manny seeing Luz and Camilla off to the demon realm to finish off Belos and the Collector. My favorite part of S3E1 was finding out Manny is the catalyst for Luz’s adoration for Azura, and I thought it would be beautiful to include him in such a heartfelt moment.

my thoughts on the s3 poster

luz's outfit reminds me of her beta design, beanie and everything. come to think of it, iirc it's similar to the outfit vee was wearing when she was pretending to be luz. has she gone back to school?

it looks like at least amity and hunter were able to bring their palismen with them. come to think of it, where do palismen go when they're not being used? i don't remember anyone having theirs when they went through the portal.

it looks like everyone has a new outfit, like a lot of folks have predicted. interestingly, only gus has something to hide his ears.

i didn't recognize vee at first. i think it was the lighting.

tell me we're getting more of badass camilla this season. she looks like she's about to kill a bitch.

and i didn't think hunter could be more of a basic white boy. i love him, but... that hair.

The fact, that dad character doing the basic minimal or saying that he loves his wife and kids is all that it takes for fandom to call him "the best father of the year", in my opinion shows, that we have low standarts for fathers.

Meanwhile mom characters would get heat from fandoms for not being flawless, get villinized and get called "bad moms"

(again there's a difference between criticizing a character & calling out actual abusive behaviour from a parent character to just villinizing a mom who tries her best to be a good mom)

my au/headcanon for post-kings tide

im putting it under a “keep reading” because I think its going to be a lot. spoilers for kings tide obv.

this will be posted in “shitty wattpad fanfiction” writing style as this is less of a fanfiction and more of me jotting down ideas but also wanting it to feel somewhat detailed.

if you have seen me post around a bit then you know im very “collector is just a lil baby” and it really reflects here so if you dont want a slight redemption for the chaotic baby god this is your heads up :)

so when luz and everyone gets to the house they are immediately rushed in by camilla. it takes a day or two before anyone is really willing to talk about what happened, emotions are still running high obviously but Camilla is doing everything in her power to make her home feel safe for the scared children.

back in the “demon realm” the world is mismatched parts similar to a childs drawing when they have a “draw your home” assignment, as its how the collector views the world and reconstructed it to fit said view. (dont worry everyone who was affected by the day of unity is alive) King has admitted to the collector how “the owl house game” was a lie but king is willing to make a game like that, obviously being lied to again causes the collector to throw a temper tantrum but there is a mild hint of relief since king has said theyre willing to make the game WITH the collector, COLLABORITAVELY. While they are working on the game the duo is approached by eda leading to a small emotional reunion between mother and son, while the collector just watches in amazement and confusion as how two people who seem so different can care about eachother so much (this will lead into them trying to teach the kid empathy, respecting others and to not play too rough)

after a week or so in the human realm the kids are getting accustomed to being in the noceda household, they had small adventures like a trip to the mall to get new clothing for all of them, and a trip to the library to learn a little bit about human history and such. Gus has been trying to indulge himself with the human realm and its cool stuff to take his mind off the reality of the situation, Willow has been the group mom keeping checked in with everyone but will indulge herself with the new flora of gravesfield, luz and amity have been inspirable, if you see one you will see the other not too far, Hunter has been the most part has just been trying to hold it together mentally with the help of his friends and the scare of some newfound information from the gravesfield library.

a little two weeks in after the “world ending” event life on both ends have settled into a seemingly calm pattern of just doing small work here and there to try to keep their minds off what happened. During this time king and the collector are talking and bonding over just wanting to play games and such when king mentions seeing the inbetween land where the collector was trapped and they begin talking about that place and mentions how luz was in a similar location once and was able to talk to their mom....(i hope you see where im going here) and upon getting the same idea they rush to eda and explain their plan.

on a day when the whole family is spending the day home watching tv together huddled on the family couch with a snack the tv turns off/goes black, while the group is confused and Camilla is trying to turn the tv back on, two very familiar faces appear on the screen and greet them.
