Can we all just take a sec to appreciate Luz’s faith in her girlfriend? Because Luz’s plan to have Gus swap her and Hunter’s appearances only works if Amity can break them out of both Odalia’s bubble and the abomination goo handcuffs, which she had no idea Alador was about to turn off.

Which means Luz saw her girlfriend break her cuffs and start hammering at the bubble and just assumed that she would eventually break through. She just assumes that if Amity is working on it, it’s a done deal, and she needs to plan for what happens when, not if, she gets through.
