She never liked anyone.

She never wanted anyone else in her life, especially Luz.

Lila always felt like she was in Luz's shadow, no matter what she did, Luz would be first. She hoped by getting rid of her, Lila could finally have the spotlight but no, she would still be overshadowed by someone.

Lila deserved the spotlight. She deserved to have everything.

She deserved much more than Luz or Marinette Dupain-Cheng did.

Lila ran, continuing on and on. She had escaped consequences before when they caught up with her. Paris wouldn't be her downfall. Her "mother", both of them, wouldn't be her downfall.

She already had a slew of fake names ready. She already had plans.

Of course, these plans did not involve falling in a lake. Nor did they involved being dragged out of the lake, except in a different world. When Lila stopped coughing up water, she looked up.

Several figures in white surrounded her, staring at her.

"Lila Rossi?" One stepped forward, wearing a gold mask. "Correct?" Lila could barely process the question, looking around the cavern, feeling herself shake with sudden cold. She barely managed a nod. "Good."

"Sir, shall we take her in?"

"Yes," The Golden Guard snapped his fingers. "Be careful. Luz has warned us of her tongue. If she tries to escape, feel free to knock her out."

The name snapped through the shock.

"Wait, Luz-?" No, Luz had been by Camila's side, staring at her. If that hadn't been her, then who was it? Leather gloved hands grabbed her and hauled her to her feet. Lila, of course, struggled, looking for the figure in the gold mask. "Wait, wait, hey-"

Something slammed into her head, and the world went dark.

mlb x toh crossover for the wip ask?

this was a concept that @ouiraculous and i were toying around with at like 3 am one day, where we'd have the toh and mlb characters swap universes,, also it's heavily shaped around the concept that huntlow and adrinette have many overlapping characteristics

in the boiling isles alya is the human that goes through the door and she meets marinette and nino, adrien is the golden guard grimwalker, gabriel is belos and wants to take revenge on the isles for the death of his wife who was "taken" by wild witches and i think felix was a concept of another grimwalker that escaped gabriel

and then the very half baked idea for the toh characters in ml

something something hunter is a sentimonster belos is hawkmoth and wants to wish for his brother back, willow is ladybug, luz, amity and gus are the other heros

the main spot we got stuck in was who would take the place of rebel mentor in the boiling isles cause fu wouldn't really fit there all that well but he seems like the only option, there's not many good adult characters in mlb lmao,,

in paris eda being the guardian is very funny to me (also lilith could be another guardian that's been trying to chase her down and get the miracle box back)

and then there's also the other way this au could go where they all have kwamis and powers based on their palisman that they actually have, so just designing new heroes, and eda gives them all these miraculous and luz is trying to earn hers from eda,, (we don't know what her palisman is yet so aaaaaa)
