Please don't take this seriously , haha. Au fancomic where #the_collector has one good sibling who got sealed away and conveniently gets freed when Belos-zilla goes ham on the Boiling isles. And said sibling is a fullgrown archivist . Who is understandably not happy that their kid sibling who while maybe a brat, has gotten picked on by a jerk for four hundred odd years. #belos is about to have a not very nice time. Bwahaha.

Jambo is an archivist. They don't like many things and being the middle child , kinda gets sidelined and allowed to do their own bit a lot. But they do have a soft spot for their youngest sibling. Jambo was not happy when their jerky oldest four siblings ganged up on the kid and wanted to mess with their friends . There was a bit of an argument when Jambo tried to stop them from taking the friends away. Jambo got sealed away because four on one means they didn't have much of a chance. Jambo gets freed by a bully who is picking on said youngest . They decide to take out four hundred odd years of pent up rage on this schmuck before moving onto their no-good older siblings who are overdue for wedgies. Jambo isn't actually named 'Jambo' but their youngest likes calling them that . Pt 2 coming soon !!!!

A little family dance party. :>

Fun fact this is the first appearance of Crescent's actual cap. I normally draw her wearing his Grand Huntsman cloak but I wanted to show she also has the normal, standard-issue hat like the rest of them. Also I think I did a real good job with the hands in this. Been really improving on that lately. B)

Had some alternate versions of this picture in mind, like one where there's planets and moons behind their heads like halos because I've been thinking about how Collectors (the species) have a lot of thematic similarities to Angels, like how they come down from the heavens (space) and bring people back up with them.

Was talking to a friend about it and also my HC that the modus operandi for Collectors is when they arrive on a planet they enlist the assistance of any sapient species by insisting/convincing them that they're gods/divine beings to be worshiped and given offerings in the form of plants/animals/any living thing that doesn't fall into those categories. Not specifically an Angel parallel there but you see the connection right? Continued rambling about their parallels to Angels, Aliens, and Eldritch Horrors under the cut because I love talking about them.

Another angel parallel is I interpret the "Clean the Planet and Scorch the Air" thing as like. The Cleaning is them taking as many samples as quickly as possible because this planet will never be able to support life again and then burning the whole thing and any stragglers. Anyways my point with the angel parallels is this is like the Rapture (at least the pop culture version of it that I'm familiar with, the worthy are taken to the skies above and everyone else has to live out a literal hell on earth). I'm mostly familiar with Christian interpretations of angels so if anyone knows any angel parallels they have that are more specific to other religions (that have angels and/or similar beings) I'd be interested to hear.

Anyways the other versions I had planned was one where they look more stereotypically like Aliens because by definition they are space aliens. I feel that one is pretty straight forward. Like, we usually interpret aliens to be technologically advanced to an incredible degree, so they're more of a magical take on aliens than what is typical, but they are living creatures who come from space, and since it's kind of implied they're straight up from Space Itself and do not have a home planet that makes them aliens on every celestial body* they go to (*since moons could theoretically support life it would be untrue for me to restrict where they go to as "planets").

And the final version where they would all be looking angry with more monstrous features to emphasize that they're Eldritch Horrors. I used to say Cosmic Horror but I have since learned Cosmic Horror is what they do, not what they are, since cosmic horror is the horror of how helpless humans are in the face of the grand, uncaring universe, so a meteor coming to destroy the planet and kill us all is also cosmic horror. Meanwhile eldritch horror is specifically the horror with the focus on powerful, godlike creatures beyond our mortal comprehension. Like these dorks.

First of all, I want to thank you for your absolutely awesome arts, your style is incredible and gives me sort of creepy fairytale vibes (and I like it heh) :) Also I want to ask about boys parents (sorry if this question has already been asked): who their parents? Did they lost them at early age and don't remember at all? Who looks like who? I headcanon that Philip and Caleb lost their parents somewhere at the age of 8 and 10(11). So yeah, pretty young. Brothers remembered them, but as time passed, some memories were slowly forgotten.

Their family was quite ordinary. Father(Thomas) was a farmer, mother(Charity) was a housewife. Boys spent more time with their father, helping him with different tasks.

I think that Caleb was more like their dad and Philip more like their mom, I agree with you on that🤝

Post-finale at some point, Darius and Lilith ask Dell and Hunter for help taking stock of the palistrom wood left in Belos’ old grimwalker lab, and they agree to send Hunter. And everything’s going relatively well until they’re about to leave, and Hunter notices one of the beds has a dim, barely visible light about it that’s blinking.

He starts digging without thinking, panicked, and imagining awful things about finding one of his brothers in there still—choking on dirt and trapped. After doing so well all day, the weight of where he is actually starts to hit him.

Until he finds a tiny hand an tuft of brown hair. And instead of the image of himself, he pulls a tiny little girl with witch’s ears and fang from the mud…

Somehow, against all odds, a piece of Evelyn stayed with Caleb even in his grave…

I was cleaning my computer files and found some concepts of the Wittebane parents that I did after the hollow mind episode and I decided to upload them now XDDDDDD

I wish to death that in this Saturday's special they show us a little of the Wittebane lore and maaaybe a peek of their parents so that I can see if I my designs got a little closer to the canon appearance or if i got totally lost XDD

Also i made this bitches an entire cringe ass lore but for now i'm very lazy to write all of it jeje. But summing it all up their personas, the father is an alcoholic, womanizer and negligent man who poorly tries to be a decent person while the mother is a naive religious fanatic who is at the point of emotional breakdown for wanting to keep her family together and clean from people's gossip. And despite everything they kinda? care for each other (especially her for him) but unfortunately that was not enough to keep everything cool :(

Probably not the best non-canon lore in the world but I did what I could lol hope You like 'em

Y’know, I see a well of untapped potential in a certain character when it comes to reading Philip/Belos x Reader/OC fics, to the point where it's a little disappointing to see no one going for this angle of storytelling.

Hunter is Belos’ “nephew,” so it's a little strange that I rarely see Hunter mentioned at all in slowburn Belos fics. There's so much potential, just think about it.

Is our reader married to Belos already? Are they Empress/Emperor of the Isles alongside Belos? Are they dating Belos openly or are they just considered his friend/guest? How does the reader interact with Hunter/Golden Guard? Do they don a more parental role with him as their relationship with Belos evolves? Are they kinder to him than Belos is?

Does the reader have a good relationship with Hunter?

Does the reader know he's a grimwalker? Do they actively pull Hunter away from his duties to spend quality (aka “Parent/Child bonding”) time with him?

How does Belos feel about their bond? Does it make him angry that the reader treats Hunter like anything other than a tool? Is it a point of tension in Belos and Reader’s relationship? Does this lead to fighting? Does the fact that the reader has such a close bond with Hunter mean that he is a bit safer from Belos’ wrath, or does it just paint a bigger target on his back?

If the reader is human, do they know about what the day of unity really means? How would they react to Hunter having a sigil if they did find out? Would they beg and scream for Belos to spare the life of the child they've grown to love? Would that kickstart them into helping the rebellion sabotage the day of unity? Would they take bigger and more drastic steps to try to secure Hunter’s safety?

I'm just saying, there's a lot that could be done with this and it's a little shocking that I've only seen one fic include Hunter as a crucial part of the story (shoutout to The Oracle Bakery for including my baby boy)

Messy doodle of younger!Cole and Jams in happier times :D I headcanon Cole got the bedroom when they were a bit closer to the age we see when they were sealed away and he used to share one with Jams. Also! Similar , yet different pendant designs! And sigils! Cole's has a smile and Jam's is crying. Also, Cole's star minions . I headcanon they tended to play with these stars before ccommming to the Isles . Jam's minions act as scribes for them or babysitters for Cole when they are away on assignments. ((Edit: Ignore the numbers. At this stage, Jambo is 21 to Cole's hypothethical 8-9 years. ;3 ))
