As Above, So Below

This is a companion piece for the first chapter of my fic, Rabbit Hearted Boy!

Now that I've watched The Owl House, I can now tell you all things I THOUGHT the show had/was about, based on the fanart that made me watch the show in the first place:

Eda being an owl beast would be an end-of-season plot twist

King and Hooty were completely nonverbal and only made animal noises

The Collector would be the puppeteer being everything, and "The Owl House" was a term he coined for Luz's whole situation, which he considered a game. I thought the game would "end" somehow and he'd gather people up to start a new round. which would involve death

Someone would hurt King to take his blood

Belos just Looked Like That (evil goop swamp beast) and the cloak and mask hid everything

Lumity kiss would happen during the grom episode

I’ve been working on the write-out for the first “episode” of Jacob & Coco Across the Universe (Post Canon Collector AU), and god damn do I love writing Jacob (or at least my version of him). He’s such an asshole and an absolute loser and I love it. He’s a genius prodigy and an absolute idiot at the exact same time. He’s just mean to everyone around him and he doesn’t get why people don’t like him. He sucks so much and I’m obsessed with writing his scenes. He’s so cringefail.

I turned him into a poor little meow meow and I can’t stop.

Five episodes into my TOH rewatch and it’s comical how often they say that ‘humans can’t be witches’ and how ‘there has never been a human witch’ and stuff like this, especially during covention, like girl the emperor of the isles is literally right there

#especially the comments by Lilith and Eda who are on every level except by word of god (dana) descendants of a human (witch) and a witch.#who also happen to be related to said emperor. who probably sneezes out of nowhere when someone says something in that vain.#(on another note the facg that episode two foreshadows so much is kinda insane to me. but I gotta finish the whole rewatch (or at least E&E #or until HM) to write something about that cause wow. was i caught of guard but I wanna be sure before I start writing).#ramblings #toh posting

Between Yesterday and Tomorrow

This is a companion piece for Chapter 2 my fic, Rabbit Hearted Boy!
