“How about we have a seat?” Willow smiled, “Hunter can even fix you a hot schokolate! If you want we can go to the bar and sneak some caramel notka into it?”

For a moment, Amber’s wings fluttered. She knit her brows. “Nah.” she said.

“Awwww but we never really get to hang out without Steve?” Hunter shrugged. “Why not now?”

Amber blinked. After a beat she pursed her lips. “Because I have been given explicit instructions specifically not to talk to you.” She said quickly.

“What about me?” Willow said with a sunny smile.

“Hey Amber!” Gus crooned. He stood behind her smiling bright with charm. “Were you given instructions specifically not to talk to me?”

Behold, Steverine, the ultimate crack ship.

"Steve and Severine were both best friends in the Emperor's Coven, bonding through their feelings of regretting their life choices. After aiding the Rebellion against Belos and stopping the Day of Unity, Severine became the new head of the Tiny Cat Coven, and Steve joined later. Soon, their friendship grows into something more, and they start dating; they officially become a couple after adopting a tiny cat named Lulu, who they treat like a queen. All hail Lulu!"

For meta humor, Steve was voiced by Alex Hirsch before Matt Chapman started voicing him; and Severine's voiced by Dana Terrace.

Our family isn’t going to be their – their – ENTERTAINMENT anymore.” He thought of Willow, so sick and trying to keep a brave face while Boscha and her wife had devalued everything they’d built together. In their own hometown! No more. He looked at Darius. At Perry and Steve. Raine, Eda. King. Then at his mother and wife. “I won't let them use me to hurt any of you. Not ever again.”

In the past:

“I know. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” Hunter dropped to his knees, “Captain. I won’t fail you, I promise.” He retreated into himself. His body and voice became small. One thought consumed him. It was a common plea when he was younger and Belos had been disappointed in him, but now that he knew what it felt to care so deeply for someone who actually returned those feelings? “Please don’t leave me.” he sobbed.
