We never see her, but we do see Tamasaburo and Yoko briefly talk about how she passed away when Yoko was a child. It’s not dwelt on much but we do get some hints that Yoko and Shun were childhood friends partly because they were both raised by single parents and both were kind of outsiders, which is something I like. :)

Ribon magazine featuring the first-ever Tokimeki chapter is for sale on Mandarake… for 15.000 yen. Geez Louise. Someone probably will buy it, but not I. Love looking at this cover though. Arare-chan in the bottom with her yukata is super cute.
The November issue they also have for sale is much more in my price range, if it weren’t for the shipping and import taxes (to be honest, if it weren’t for import taxes I’d have started collecting old Ribon issues years ago). Love the cover.
