Tokyo revengers manga spoilers for chapters 221 to 223!

I just finished chapter 223 and Draken's death finally made me cry (yes that's the first time for this series)

So in true me fashion this developed into watching "sad tokyo revengers edits" and crying for 30 minutes 😭👍

Now that I had my monthly crying session I don't think that I will shed any more tears during the last chapters. It took me this long into the series to really cry and most of the time that's it for a while, but who knows 🤷‍♀️

TOKYO REVENGERS CHAPTER 223 Thoughts and Discussion

- I AM NOT KIDDING I AM LEGITIMATELY CRYING SO HARD WHILE TYPING THIS. We all definitely need some comfort after reading this because fuck.

So the recent Chapter started with this. Senjus successfully called an ambulance, but Draken's still unconscious (not even sure if that's the right term). And then basically, we get a fucking emotional flashback of his memories from Toman

These were definitely the good old days when they were just completely happy kids. Please, they were all aiming high and dreaming in this flashback and it's making me fucking emotional that if Draken ever dies, he's not going to be there EVER AGAIN with the Toman members and we're all gonna fucking miss him.

"It kinda feels lonely when he's way up ahead"

Mitsuya baby you are fucking right 😢. See, the thing is, Mikey's dreams are great okay? But maybe, the more Mikey goes into the top, the more sacrifices and cutting off of connections on them happen. Which I get it, because Mikey wants to protect them. But damn, they were all dreaming together and now they gotta live their lives on their own and Draken is about to die. THIS AIN'T RIGHT.

Draken, Mikey told you to hold onto this world so please please live. You're one of the most significant figures in his life and you better not leave him. This ain't the right time 🥺

Wakui, we just want them to be happy and reach their goals together 🥺

And then basically, it was all about Toman. This just shows how Draken truly love Toman and how dedicated he is to the gang. Draken you are one true man so please please please live.

THIS WAS THE PANEL THAT GOT ME FUCKING SOBBING.

This is really bittersweet, considering that he'll be with Emma again if he ever dies, and that he'll be leaving Mikey and Toman behind.

The new chapter ended with this??? I CAN'T WAIT 'TIL NEXT WEEK I AM SO SAD LMAO.

Anyway, as much as I love these two and that I genuinely ship them both, I don't want them to be together yet. Please, Draken, now's not the good time. EVERYONE needs you 😢
