I’m surprised there’s no “Will It Blend” posts in the tag, so let me introduce y’all to one of my favorite inane things from my teen years:
WILL IT BLEND? (That is the question)
youtube
The whole thing reads like a surrealist joke or like a neo-dada skit.
Do we know most of the stuff will blend? Probably.
Is it still fun to watch and find out? Yeah…
And he always follows the same format, so you know he’s going to say “will it blend” and “(insert whatever he’s blending that day) smoke. Don’t breathe that.”
British black comedy that is inarguably one dimensional in a lot of ways but is still worth checking out regardless.
This BFI-backed British black comedy is a somewhat one-dimensional but effective examination of the idea that the supposed collective experience of education holds no emotional weight whatsoever. A graduate is excited when his university buddies Arrange a slap-up birthday weekend at a lavish country house. When our hero gets there he very quickly realises his “friends” have regressed and indulged…
Pete is cautiously excited about reuniting with his college crew for a birthday weekend. But, one by one, his friends slowly turn against him.
I found it a lot less funny than apparently a lot of other people. It felt mainly silly and immature, and the characters annoying. Maybe it helps if you're British.
I know, social anxiety and all. But why stay at such a "party" where everyone just wants to make you feel - real or imagined - unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Eric Frein, Pennsylvania inmate MY0275, born 1983, incarceration intake in 2014 at age 31, sentenced to death
Murder of a LEO
In 2020, Pennsylvania had scheduled June 22 for the death of Eric Frein -- former Vietnam War film documentary actor -- who was the Monroe County man who ambushed and killed a state trooper in 2014; though the state has a moratorium on capital punishment.
However, Gov. Tom Wolf’s death penalty moratorium, enacted in 2015, remains in effect. The moratorium does not halt death warrants from being issued. Defendants must seek a stay of the warrant.
Pennsylvania has executed three inmates since reinstating the death penalty in 1976. The most recent execution was in 1999.
Frein was convicted in 2017 of first-degree murder and other charges and sentenced to death for fatally shooting Cpl. Bryon K. Dickson of Dunmore and severely wounding Trooper Alex T. Douglass of Olyphant outside the Blooming Grove state police barracks Sept. 12, 2014.
Frein unsuccessfully appealed his conviction and death sentence to Pennsylvania’s Superior Court and Supreme Court. The U.S. Supreme Court on in January 2020 declined to hear his appeal of those decisions.
