Okay, my thoughts on Tonari no Metaller-san:

so like, it's pretty fun. I remember falling in love with the initial premise when I read the first chapter, and sticking with it through every update.

If memory serves, it was a pretty solid 'protag learns Love Interest isn't as scary as he seems' story, a midde-of-the-road enjoyable time. And I'd likely be looking back on it with nothing but fondness if not for the fact that they pulled out a yaoi trope I despise at the very end:

How many manga must I read where a straight man returns the feelings of a gay man, they happily date, and then at the end they smack me with a "the straight man fell for his boyfriend because Gay Dude resembles his childhood dog?"
