'It's been a long day, and it's still not over,' Melody sighed, staring at the waves crashing onto the beach literally feet from herself. The Founders Day Carnival had begun hours ago, and most of the staff had already gone to play. She, however, was stuck manning the counter in case anyone came to use the facilities. Not that many came, the sun was setting and the sea was becoming chillier. Most people were already having a blast at the carnival. Looking around, she saw that the place was literally snoresville, so using her power as the manager, she closed up.

"Alright, we all don't want to be here," she cleared her throat, gulping as the staff stared at her. Triton's beard, she's never going to get used to public speaking. "So-so consider this the end. Of your shift I me-mean. Pack up and I'll see you tomorrow." The small crowd cheered and moved quickly to their stations to put away towels, chairs, various concoctions. Meanwhile, she typed away at her laptop, writing up her report to her parents.

As she typed away, a figure appeared in her peripheral, but looking at the screen, she couldn't really make out who it was.

"If you're here to use the club, I'm terribly sorry but we're closing up for the night. We'll be open at 10am tomorrow, if you would like to return then, or I can book you an appointment." She read off a script she wrote up for such an occasion, not trusting herself to say it without tripping on her words. She finally looked up to the visitor, giving them a half smile.
