Hey y’all! I’m created a fundraiser to help with expenses to move up north after being accepted into Institute for American Musical Theatre last year. I had to push it back due to timing and finances. Even if you can’t contribute right now, sharing and supporting would suffice and be just as helpful as well 🙌🏾
As someone who has allowed pursued her passions, I want to continue that journey with achieving a dream of mine and get closer to achieving one of my dream roles, hence why these pictures of me dressed as Anita from West Side Story (my favorite musical) because of women like Debbie Allen & Ariana DeBose who played it 💃🏽
Donate what you can, share and spread the word and just like sis sang “I like to be in America”, well: I’d like to be on Broadway ❤️🖤💛💜

Okay, let’s fucking do this.
Hi everyone, I need some help. I am raising funds to make a life changing move to New York to study at a conservatory to train to achieve my dream of being on Broadway (stage, tour, basically my Debbie Allen and Ariana DeBose shit). But I need help on achieving that goal: last year I applied to and was accepted into the Institute for American Musical Theatre but couldn’t start in Fall of 2022 as planned. So now having pushed it back a whole year, I’m ready to make that goal happen!
I was given a scholarship by the school but it only covers partial tuition, that’s where y’all come in.
PLEASE donate to my GoFund Me link below to help this Lass make it in the big Apple. It’ll help cover tuition and living expenses since the school does not provide housing for us.
In doing so, you’ll get a shoutout from me in my Artist Bio for whatever shoes I’m in at the conservatory, tour, Broadway playbill and all.
Thank you, and it’s lights up!

Viola Davis joined these EGOT winners at the 2023 Grammy Awards
Viola Davis cemented herself as a multihyphenate with her EGOT at the 2023 Grammy Awards. What is an EGOT winner, you ask? The prestigious title is bestowed upon performers who have won specific awards for dipping their toes into the four realms of Hollywood. These awards include the Emmys (television), Grammys (music), Oscars (film) and Tonys (Broadway). Only a handful of icons have scored all…

#RitaMorenoAMemoir by #RitaMoreno #AudiobookReview #BookReview
Want to know who was a trail blazer in her field? Rita Moreno. I had the pleasure of listening to her memoir and it's one you don't want to miss. #RitaMorenoAMemoir by #RitaMoreno #AudiobookReview #BookReview #WestSideStory #EGOT #Emmy #AcademyAward
“Born Rosita Dolores Alverio in the idyll of Puerto Rico, Moreno, at age five, embarked on a harrowing sea voyage with her mother and wound up in the harsh barrios of the Bronx, where she discovered dancing, singing, and acting as ways to escape a tumultuous childhood. Making her Broadway debut by age thirteen–and moving on to Hollywood in its Golden Age just a few years later–she worked…

Rhys Darby returns to New Zealand for two huge milestones - Spy
Tumblr media
Rhys Darby is back in New Zealand.
Why is Kiwi comedy star Rhys Darby back in New Zealand?
Rhys Darby is returning from his base in Los Angeles for a double celebration over the next few weeks - his 50th birthday and a special event to mark his 25 years working as a stand-up comic.
“I’m home for my 50th birthday celebrations,” he reveals to Spy.
Darby hits the big milestone on March 21 and says he, his wife and manager Rosie are planning on a shared party with their family and friends.
A week later, Darby will be in proud parent mode as his eldest son Finn’s band, Great Big Cow, will be performing at The Whammy Bar on Karangahape Rd on March 27.
“So, as a cool dad, I’ll be there of course, with my band manager suit on,” he says.
There will be fun and laughter to have on Waiheke Island the following week too. Popular island spot Wild Estate Vineyard in Onetangi has secured Darby for an exclusive one-off New Zealand show with an intimate audience of only 200 tickets.
Punters can be sure Darby’s will be giving the native birds on the island a squawk for their money with his famous bird calls from his 2021 TV stand-up show Mystic Time Bird.
“The show is called ‘25 Years’ - it is a celebration of my stand-up career,” say Darby.
“I’ve hand-picked the best material from my five comedy specials, and I’ve also added some new stuff,” he divulges. “It’s all killer, so the audience can expect me having a blast, and so I’m sure they will too.”
Wild Estate has become the go-to live venue on Waiheke for comedy and live gigs; last month, the Jordan Luck Band rocked the vineyard, and comedians Nick Rado, Tony Lyall, Paul Douglas and Ruby Esther have all had successful stand-up nights there too.
Darby has been home several times over the last few years, whether to film with his mate Taika Waititi in West Auckland for the second season of their hit HBO Max show Our Flag Means Death in late 2022, or his Kiwi road trip with David Hasselhoff called Hoff the Beaten Track last spring.
Darby finished the year with aplomb, hosting the 51st International Emmy Awards in New York in November.
The production company for his road trip show, Stripe Studios, made headlines last month with the New Zealand Herald’s Media Insider column, penned by Shayne Currie, reporting Stripe for unpaid bills. The production company also filmed a travel-style show with US comedian Iliza Shlesinger. Currie reported the Netflix comedy star is applying to have Stripe Studios (Comedy) Ltd liquidated. Stuff followed up this story, reporting Hasselhoff was also owed money from the production company.
Darby politely had no comment on the state of his and The Hoff’s road trip show, but sources say Darby played a big part in getting as many of its Kiwi crew as he could paid by Stripe.
However, Darby did share that Hollywood has been rather wet and dull so far this year. “I have a few top-secret TV and film projects in development, which I am really looking forward to.”
“What I can reveal is: I’ve been involved in Mukpuddy’s awesome adaptation of Badjelly the Witch,” he says.
“I think it’s going to be so so good!”

TONY AWARDS NEWS
It appears Hollywood greed has fucked over Broadway as the Tony Awards will not be broadcast as originally planned due to the WGA strike. As the writers strike is unlikely to end before the Tony Awards, and as the WGA has denied the Tony Awards a waiver to air during the strike, the Tony Awards cannot happen as planned without crossing a picket line, which thankfully does not seem to be an option under consideration.
The two most likely options that are currently being considered are a non-televised press conference (the option supported by the Broadway League) or the ceremony being postponed until the strike is over (the option supported by the American Theater Wing), with the final plans likely to be announced tomorrow on Monday. Both of these options will negatively impact Broadway shows, as the live Tony Awards performances on national television and the actual winning of awards are both major sources of publicity for shows on Broadway. Some shows, especially newer, smaller, and original ones, may not be able to survive without the broadcast.
This continues a multi-year period of instability for the Tony Awards, with the ceremony being cancelled in 2020, the 2021 ceremony mostly being unaired on broadcast television, and last year's ceremony being the first mostly normal ceremony in three years.
Despite the inevitable impacts this will have on Broadway, I must reiterate that the WGA strike is far more important than any awards show, or any other television show or movie for that matter, and the Tony Awards should not defy the WGA and broadcast the ceremony normally. It is important that the writers are paid fairly, and if another stunted Tony Awards is the price to be paid for that to occur, then that will be well worth the cost.

TN Candies Part 5
Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3/Part 4
And as promised, I’m back with more candies! And a quick preface, at the request of OP, I’ve removed all mentions and links to OP’s account, but please bear in mind that this is a translation/summary
Usual Disclaimers:
This post contains content regarding real-person shipping. If you’re uncomfortable with the subject, again, please don’t read under the post
This is a translation and summary of a post on Weibo, not my original findings or thoughts. I am just the translator and messenger
Please remember that the people who do this do it in good nature. They don’t mean any harm, and they don’t cause any harm because China is physically and digitally too far away for them to actually fuck shit up, and they understand the lines of parasocial relationships: those who met with Taylor during his China trip in December know to, and didn’t bring up this in front of him. They know where to draw the line, and whoever doesn’t and starts becoming a problem gets kicked out of the community. This is meant for fun.
Per OP's request, please DO NOT repost my translations to Twitter.
Today’s post is about the overlaps in Taylor and Nick’s social circles
Taylor’s Family and Friends:
As mentioned in part 1, after the Academy Museum Gala, Taylor’s sister Ash (who has a public Instagram account) reposted three photos from Taylor’s post of the night to her Instagram stories: Two of Taylor’s portraits, and the photo of Taylor and Nick. Interestingly, she posted the photo with both boys twice.
A close friend of Taylor’s started following Nick on social media on 5th December last year, and liked a couple of his posts. He was the one who revealed that Taylor was attending several different parties on Oscars night (Governor Ball and Vanity Fair). Interestingly, he never revealed Taylor’s schedule/plans before, but did so the one time Taylor was heading to an event that Nick was already attending.
Taylor’s uncle follows @/nicktaylor, the Taylor and Nick updates fan account on Instagram
Taylor’s nephew only liked two of Taylor’s posts on Instagram, which happened to be the ones that Nick liked
Taylor’s cousin and another sister follow Nick on Instagram and liked a couple of his posts.
Taylor’s good friends with the producer of TIOY, Gabrielle Union, they were at the Burberry show together. Funnily enough Gabrielle first posted the new of TIOY trailer breaking record on her story, then it was followed by a photo of her and Taylor at the Oscar After party
@/thisjenna was both Taylor’ stylist for the SAG Awards and Nick’s stylist from SXSW
Nick’s Family and Friends:
As mentioned in part 2, Nick’s sister and only sibling, Lexi started following Taylor on Instagram starting from last December during the Christmas holidays and liked a couple of Taylor’s photoshoot posts that has nothing to do with Nick.
Camila Cabello, Nick’s close friend and co-star from Cinderella 2021 likes to tease Nick (as close friends would): After the GQ MOTY event where both Nick and Taylor were in attendance, Nick said “My Taylor” instead of “My Taylor impression”, wore the Cartier watch mentioned in part 1 and 4 for the first time in public, and left early, Camila commented “somebody is Gua Sha’ing” Gua Sha 刮痧 is a Traditional Chinese healing method that uses a smooth stone to stroke and press on the patient’s skin, which leaves the skin red (Meraki: my mom did it for me yesterday and God it hurt like a bitch) so TL DR she’s teasing him about his blushing, and he replied “you’re out of control” And under Taylor’s post from the Oscar After Party with the photo of the three of them, she straight up commented “Throuple alert”
One of the actresses from Cinderella who’s close with Nick, whose Instagram account is followed by both Nick and Lexi liked a RWRB post from Prime’s main Instagram account
Tony Curran, King James from M&G, as mentioned in part 3 liked a bunch of RWRB/Firstprince and Taylor posts on Twitter (Meraki: which, what the fuck Sir) as well as liking posts from Twitter account that have Taylor as their profile pic
The official Instagram account for August Moon, the boyband in TIOY reposts a story from a Taylor Nick fan account
Members of Nick’s PR team liked both RWRB post from prime/official rwrb account and a few posts of Taylor that’s just him and has nothing to do with Nick
An actress from TIOY (who wears a blue dress in the trailer) and Jaiden Anthony, another member of August Moon (character name Adrian, but also guys please don’t go bother him over this), M&G’s costume designer, Purple Heart’s songwriter, a TIOY crew member, even Anne Hatheway’s stylist  liked RWRB posts from either the official rwrb account or prime’s main account
That’s it for part 5 and today’s update! See you in the next one on Sunday :D

Any idea(s) as to why Cait hasn't been to any OL functions such as Hublander and the upcoming Land on 6? What was the last event she attended?
Thanks for the message, @dragonflydreams47 😃
She might not have been invited. She might not have been interested. She might have had previous commitments. She might be done with attending cons that aren’t Outlander-sanctioned.
What was the last event she attended?
last publicised: JW Anderson fashion show on the 18th of February in London 😉
last con: NYCC, virtually, in October 2021
last festival: ATX in June 2023
last fan event: Season 7 Premiere in June 2023
I’m able to post only 10 images at a time. Here’s a sampling of fan events she’s attended since 2015:

She’ll be busy, preparing for her directorial debut and, like the rest of the cast, getting ready for Season 8. Assuming Starz promotes the elusive Season 7B, we’ll see her in what are probably long-ago recorded videos, etc. Some fans are wondering if Starz will host another mid-season premiere event like they did for Season 1B in 2015.
I’m looking forward to seeing her promote The Amateur (8 November) and The Cut (TBA), and hope the films are represented next awards season. As much that circus irritates me, I enjoy seeing her and Tony out and about. 👠👞
Remember… I have failed 'Star Wars' trivia tests. People come up to me at conventions and use terms that I've never heard of. — Mark Hamill
Sounds like the Force wasn’t with him. 🤷🏻‍♂️
