After kinda getting hit in the socialising aspect by the pandemic I feel wonderful and tbh it's the first time in ages I felt good in a crowd, even if the start was difficult.

I’ve seen a lot of people make jokes to about when to arrive to a party, like “if a party starts at 8 you need to get their at 7” or “you need to arrive at 8:30” or “you need to arrive at 9” and it doesn’t make sense. I’m arriving at 8 or not I’m not going. Those are my two options. I don’t understand the arriving early or late, there’s not point? Right? I’m going to the party when the invitation told me. Just my thoughts.

I don't often experience sensory overstimulation (noise, lights, smells, etc.), so I'm asking other people who experience it more often.

Is the scene in Man of Steel where Clark is first experiencing his powers in elementary school, the one where he can see through everything and he's hyperventilating, and covering his ears, accurate? Does that feel like an accurate representation of sensory overstimulation to you?

My boss is having all the cabinets and counters redone, so the office is a mess, the carpenter is a big sunburned maga nutsack with a camo trump hat, there's dust everywhere, he's not wearing a mask and he's coughing his lungs out (I think he's exaggerating the coughs on purpose because I'm wearing a mask and he's willing to inhale linoleum to own the libs). It's very loud, and the phone is ringing off the hook, 24 times in the last 2 hours.
