Im about 65% sure I’ve talked about this before but in lieu of Episode 1071 I have to just say again: I honestly can’t explain how love the fact that Oda explicitly….

ONE PIECE WANO FINALE TO CURRENT SPOILERS!

…leans into toon logic with One Piece and with Luffy & the revelations of Gear 5! Like, in shonen fiction in particular, it’s so wildly unique & fun for the peak strength of a protagonist to not just be a straight beef up but also distinctly & disarmingly silly both meta-wise & within the fiction; all while still looking hype as hell both in terms of visuals & combat!

Luffy’s abilities also particularly seem to work via Roger Rabbit’s rule that several of his biggest feats are only accomplished if they are funny! I’m distinctly thinking of the fact that though it’s not really a “Rubber” fruit, one of the funniest moments in the series where the facade of Enel as the egotistical omnipotent god is shattered when he realizes that Luffy dead-counters his electric abilities occurs because it adheres to the rules of rubber in that moment!

Despite being mostly manga only, I just had to gush again & again over my favorite series & one of my favorite protagonists

I'm watching my brother start playing Wind Waker, and I forgot how often Link gets slammed into walls?? I remembered the forsaken fortress, but then when the tower of gods rises he just gets flung into the stratosphere?? Not to mention him getting punched in the face by ganondorf like 5 times. The poor boy is lucky he doesn't have a concussion, or at the very least a broken nose!

Ectoplasm and other factors had an impact on Jazz and Danny as they grew older. Accidentally releasing the disorderly Toon Force was Fenton Parent.

The Toon Force appears in erratic ways, allowing common items to take on life of their own, gravity to suddenly lose its hold, and reality itself to bend to the family's newly discovered abilities.

Danny and Jazz were naturally talented with the Toon Force.

The siblings embrace their talents with a mixture of amusement and adaptation, whether it's Danny's ability to alter reality, defy physics, and transform every circumstance into a humorous adventure, or Jazz's talent for drawing all kinds of bizarre stuff from her seemingly limitless purse.

Only Bugs Bunny and the Loony Tunes cartoon could show the insanity that exists in Amity Park.

Every time someone's like "surely arataka reigen can't be his real name right. That'd be ridiculous" or "there's no way that reigen isn't special how else could he have wielded so much power from mob" i have to tell them that's not the point. These are very valid questions/arguments but listen. I don't think reigen having a not-ridiculous name or a special ability is the point of his character.

It's not that it doesn't matter why his name is literally just a pun/joke or how he managed to wield mob's power that one time, it's just not the point of the story (and why fanfics are cool so u can explore those questions!)

He's ridiculous. He makes no sense. He uses child labor to support his conman business. His past and family is intentionally left to be vague because we're not meant to root out "where he went wrong" or "how he actually has some sort of special ability" his whole point that he's some guy!! He's just a dude!!! and THAT'S what makes him so interesting!!!

How do I explain this uh… Let's say me and my friend were talking about fanchilds and I looked to see if there were any fanchilds about Baffy [Bugs x Daffy]. And to my surprise there weren't many, I found only one and then there was the headcanon that the Warner brothers were his adoptive children or something similar. And obviously since my friend is a fan of that couple and also that I like it, I decided to make their designs and my friend would tell me what the personalities of the children would be like. And let's say these were the doodles I did [sorry for the English speakers]. And the truth was very good to be just doodles :D In case someone asks, no, they don't have a name, they had but we forgot what they were called XD, for a future publication that deals with them, most likely I already have their names.
