Hi thank you for the ask! :) My url is really random haha i wanted something with megumi in it but ran out of ideas and just combined Mob and Megumi who are two of my favorite characters!

I don't really have a top 10 of my fav fics. You see, i'm more of a writer than a reader and ever since i've started reading fanfictions, i've never really added them to my favorites so I can go back to them whenever I wanted to. Also, i haven't been on AO3 for that long and i forget so many times to bookmark the fics i like, but I'm really trying to change that. So yeah it's really difficult for me to tell you what are my 10 favorite fics ever :/

But there are a few that i bookmarked or found on my history, so at least here are the fics that i really liked to read recently:

I'm kinda new to Milex, despite loving both AM and TLSP for years, and like so many questions.......What happened to those sweethearts, what are the divorce allegations, why they don't hang out anymore, is there any tension between Miles and Alex's girlfriend?😭 I need to know

hiii and welcome to the milex fandom!!

first of all, you can check out this post to know more about the divorce allegations - but of course always remember it's just theories, no one really knows what happened (if anything happened at all)

second of all, they do still hang out! they're just very private about it and rarely ever get spotted together, but over the years after the tbhc and cdg eras we got to see them together a few times, usually hanging out in london like here (august 2020):

and here (july 2021):

but also in jnstances like this one (september 2021) (it's not confirmed that they were together but miles posted this with the caption 'ARRABIATA HEAD X' and arrabiata is Their Thing + those are alex's sunglasses and the photo was most likely taken by him idc i will die on this hill)

then we got to see them together in june 2022, hanging out at some pub:

and also at zackery michael and lola mcdonnell's wedding aka the wedding of the century aka i wish i was a fly on the wall there. this was also in june 2022, they were both there but sadly we didn't get any interaction nor photos of them together:

we did however get a few interactions between miles, (nadya) and louise.

in may 2023 they were spotted having a cute little date night at a scott walker tribute concert in london (feat. the one and only brown leather jacket):

and then of course we got to see them playing 505 together in june (💖) after five whole years of not sharing a stage:

and then again in dublin, miles opened for them on all four nights of the irish leg in october and joined them for 505 on the very last one:

during both the cts and omb eras miles has mentioned alex and tlsp quite a few times (both spontaneously or because of annoying interviewers asking him about it).

speaking of miles and louise, they ignored each other for a long time since alex started dating her back in 2018, which was quite weird considering miles usually seemed to have great friendships with alex's girlfriends (he was very close to taylor, and he's still friends with alexa). recently they started interacting more, liking each other's posts or leaving comments there (see miles commenting on her latest birthday post for alex). as i mentioned, they interacted a bit during zack and lola's wedding (katie posted a video on ig where her, kirstin, louise, miles and nadya were all hanging out together). i think at this point it's safe to say miles and nadya aren't together anymore, but her and louise were hanging out quite a lot during 2022/start of 2023 and they probably got introduced through their respective boyfriends. there's no official drama between miles and louise but they don't seem to be friends, just close acquaintances at best.

and... i think that's it anon! in conclusion they're still very much close and hanging out with each other, it's just much rarer to get a glimpse of them but maybe in the (hopefully not so distant) future we'll get a tlsp3 announcement and then they'll finally be touring together again, planet earth will heal and we'll be well-fed once again. in the meantime, i hope this little recap was helpful <3

do you ever think of how when you play the game and don't advance the main story, what would happen if someone turned aware of it? like ive been putting off starting the liyue archon quest in my alt and it never occurred to me how convenient that we start the quest just as it happens to be the rite of descension.

so like picture this: little npc background chara reader who developed self awareness, either by a vision or something entirely like a glitch, and now since the Traveler has yet to start the aq the day before the rite just loops.

they've practically memorized all of the responses and paths and all the shenanigans because why are they stuck in this loop, why won't the next day just go on already?

so probably out of boredom and maybe desperation, they decided to mess with the Snezhnayan diplomat.

they did and they had a good time surprisingly so the next day, reader does it again.

until one day, when they're about to do it, something changes. Childe somehow loses control and out comes a furry moth monster. Rather than run away and be terrified, they're excited af because holy shit something new!!!

you wonder, when you're falling asleep on that repeated night, what will happen to you and Tartaglia when time resumes

one day, just like all the others, you wander into the bank to invite the Harbinger out as usual, but find him mysteriously absent. with a frown you survey the building, hoping to see the familiar head of ginger hair but with no luck. Ekaterina directs you upstairs, and it suddenly occurs to you that something has changed, something about the day is different. you climb the stairs and knock on Tartaglia's door, heart thumping in your chest, and when no one answers you crack it open yourself and stare into the single-eyed gaze of a strange monster with fluffy ginger hair

it's certainly Tartaglia's room- you can see his coat hanging on the wall- and when the creature slowly approaches and kneels to your height the resemblance abruptly hits you. this is Tartaglia- the beautiful monster with a crimson mask and sharp claws and a flowing, shimmering cape is the Fatuus you've been falling in love with- and when he cups your cheek in his talons you nearly start crying. death in venice by thomas mann (classic. but its so rich w metaphors and symbolism. if you do read it, i'd recommend reading "the uses of myth in death in venice" by isadore traschen afterwards, bc it does a great job explaining all the freudian allegories and mythological symbolism and u'll literally be tearing ur hair out afterwards over how brilliant thomas mann was)

Will is warm and solid beside Mike.

It's something of a comfort, has been since long before they were together, the way Will's presence is always gentle and assured, and he's never minded when Mike wraps an arm around him or leans in close or sits closer than strictly necessary. He'd always been a quiet kid, snarky at times but always a little reserved, but Mike's never much minded. They even each other out, loud when the other is quiet, sweet where the other is abrasive. And Mike's certainly not complaining, not now that he has this: Will, asleep in bed beside him, warm even in the cold air of their apartment, a steady presence that calms Mike's erratic heartrate.

He's jittery tonight, his anxiety spinning out over the exam he has in the morning, even though he logically knows that he'll do fine. This happens often - his brain can pick apart his own emotions to a fault, trying his level best to reason them away, but no amount of overthinking can ever ease the pressure he feels in his ribcage, the nervous stutter of his fingers as he drums them against the mattress.

Will's presence is calming, though, and it's nearing midnight and Mike knows he should get some sleep, but he's never been good at staying still or quiet. He gives into his nerves and rolls over, propping himself up on one elbow and reaching out to trail a hand gently over his boyfriend's arm, the fabric of his sweater bunching up under Mike's bony, nervous fingers. "Will," he whispers, just once, just in case Will's still awake. He doesn't want to disturb him, and he resolves to just ask the one time, just to see, and if Will doesn't respond he'll go right to sleep, anxiety be damned.

But then Will's stirring under his palm, releasing a muffled "hmm?" and turning toward Mike, wriggling under the covers, and Mike's chest momentarily stops collapsing in on itself as Will's eyelids flutter halfway open, sleepy and sweet.

"Sorry," Mike whispers, just because, even as a smile tugs at the corners of his mouth. "Were you sleeping?"

Will blinks up at him, seeming to come a little more awake as he shifts fully onto his back to look at Mike. "No," he says, like a liar, and Mike is too captivated by his adorably sleepy boyfriend to call him out on it. "Are you okay, baby?"

His words are blurred by sleep, coming out in a mumble as his eyes slide half-shut again, but Mike knows that he's genuinely asking, knows that Will would wake up for real and make him tea and whatever else Mike wanted if he just asked. "I'm okay," he whispers, wriggling a little closer under the covers, and Will absently tilts his face to the side to press a kiss to Mike's shoulder where it hovers over him. "I'm just- anxious, I guess."

"Exams?" Will asks, because he's magic like that and knows everything Mike is thinking at any given moment, plus also Mike had been talking nonstop about it earlier in the evening, which probably helps with the mind-reading.

"Yeah," he answers with a grimace anyway, settling himself back down onto his pillow, head resting a few inches away from Will's. Will absently reaches out and hooks an arm over his waist, drawing him closer and rubbing gentle circles over Mike's hip with his thumb. "I mean- I know it's probably fine, but still."

"It is fine," Will says, shifting his head up and opening his eyes straight into Mike's, "but I get it."

"You always do," Mike replies, like the completely embarrassing sap he is, and normally Will would make fun of him for it, but under the soft glow of the fairy lights they keep in their room, he simply smiles and lifts a hand to cup Mike's cheek.

"You're okay," he murmurs, swiping a soothing thumb over Mike's cheekbone. Mike exhales softly, relaxing a little under Will's touch, and he's pliant against Will's insistence when he mumbles a soft "come here" and tugs him closer, guiding Mike's head to rest against his chest. His sweater is warm and soft under Mike's cheek, and Mike sighs with content as Will runs a gentle hand through his hair.

"Love you," he murmurs into Will's chest, eyes falling shut.

Will kisses the top of his head, firm and purposeful. "I love you too, Mike," he whispers back, and it sounds bigger than it is, in the silence of their room, like he's making a promise. "Is this better?" he asks, holding Mike close, and Mike chews on his lip, thinking. He can still feel the thrum of anxiety under his skin, but it's- lessened, with Will's arms around him, tethering him to reality.

"Yeah," he whispers, but it must not be convincing enough because Will hums softly and tightens his hold on him, hooking his arms firmly around his waist. He shifts, tipping Mike gently onto his side, and his arms come up to wrap around his chest, hands folded neatly right over Mike's heart as he squirms closer and slots a leg through Mike's. His nose presses into the space between Mike's shoulder blades, warm breath against his spine, and Mike feels- grounded. Will's fingertips press into his chest, right over the frantic beat of Mike's heart, and Mike's shoulders finally relax, the external pressure overriding the internal.

He exhales softly, raising a hand to wrap lightly around Will's wrist, and he can feel Will's smile against his back as he squeezes gently.

"I think you might be magic," he whispers to Will. It's something he's always thought, in the back of his brain, and if he were a little more awake he'd have the sense not to say something so incredibly sappy and ridiculous, but Will doesn't seem to mind.

"Nah," he responds quietly, fingers still tracing gentle circles over Mike's chest, "I just know you."

Same difference, Mike thinks hazily, as Will's warmth drags him back into sleep. No matter what Will says, Mike is pretty sure that being known this way is a magic in and of itself.
