okay you said you have favourite episodes and moments, so what are your top five daredevil moments?

The Hallway Fight Scene in S1E2 leaves me breathless every goddamn time. The way he pushes off the wall with his head, the way he so tiredly brings his arms up, the way he's staggering, all one goddamn take. Then pair it with him gently carrying the kid out after all that violence? That is Matt Murdock in a nutshell.

As mentioned too, the final fight/speech with You Know Who in S3E13. His voice is absolutely shredded and raw, he is so tired, and that moment where he puts his hands on you know who's neck and comes... so. very. close. And then just can't. 'God knows I want to. But you don't get to destroy who I am!' Shivers, every time.

There are so many moments with Matt and, let's call her The Nun to avoid spoilers, in S3. Basically every conversation he has with her is this beautiful, tragic interplay as she balances kicking him in the ass when he needs it with gentle encouragement. It's exactly what Matt never really had in his life, and what he desperately needs, this kind of support without letting him get too deep into his own head.

OF COURSE THE PRISON FIGHT IN S3 IS HERE. THE PRISON FIGHT, HOLY SHIT, HOW??? HOW DID THEY DO THIS IN ONE TAKE???

For some reason, I love, love, love Foggy's moment where Matt in S3 says The Ridiculous Martyr We Can't Be Friends bit and Foggy just goes... "No." "No?" "No!" Like, Foggy just sees the bullshit and goes... Bullshit denied, I'm still your friend, fuck you. And I love that SO FUCKING MUCH.

Top 5 daredevil episodes 😈

Cut Man, S1E2. It is the PERFECT DD episode. Good chemistry? Check. Matt all beat up and sexy? Check. Black suit? Check. Lovely banter? Check. High emotional and physical stakes? Check. FUCKING BADASS HALLWAY FIGHT WHICH IS ONE OF THE GREATEST FIGHTS OF ALL TIME? Definitely check. It and my #2 are essentially tied.

Now we're gonna zip aaaaaaall the way up to the end with A New Napkin, S3E13. Not to say too much because I've got some readers who haven't finished yet, but the final fight of that and Matt's speech is one of the most amazing speeches/scenes/moment of acting I've seen in my life. Definitely a favorite, and if it wasn't for how much I love the hallway fight in Cut Man, this would likely be my favorite. As it is, these first two are tied.

New York's Finest, S2E3 for the interaction between Matt and Frank, including their deliciously complex philosophical argument over Do Not Kill versus Kill. Again, acting is on point, the ferocity of their emotions and arguments, Matt's hope clashing with Frank's pessimism, with the bonus of the lovely staircase fight. I've watched this one a TON.

Look, Imma be honest, Kinbaku, S2E5 is here because we get to see Matt kiss left and right, and also see him fuck Elektra and it's hot. I have no defense.

I'm going with S3E4 here, Blindsided, for Matt's journey into the prison for the now-legendary fight scene. It's a rare opportunity we get to see Matt fight as Matt, on top of just how many little touches there are to make this perfect. I almost, ALMOST went for S3E2 though because I honestly love Matt's journey there and I feel like that's the moment we start to see him crawl his way forward in his recovery and it's important, character-wise. So maybe the two are tied? It's close, either way!
