Serpent: The apple will give you free will.
Eve: Ok. *Chooses to eat the apple using the free will she clearly already has.*
God: Oh shit, she has free will

Tav - It is finished
The Hebrew letter Tav, the final character in the Aleph-Bet, is considered by many as the symbolic signature of God, underscoring His divine work of creation. The Tav, often associated with truth and perfection, captures the essence of completion, like a seal marking the end of a narrative. It's an emblematic testament of God's omnipotence and omnipresence, a sacred imprint that defines the universe's boundaries, like an artist signing their masterpiece. This profound letter encapsulates the divine cycle of creation, from inception to culmination, echoing the timeless truth of God's pervasive influence in every grain of existence. Just as an author signs their work, the Tav serves as God's spiritual autograph, a sublime reminder of His ever-present hand in the fabric of creation.

Things the 10 Plagues of Egypt taught me about God:
God doesn't care if he hurts (or kills) innocent people (kids included)
God doesn't care if he hurts/kills innocent animals
God could have freed the Hebrews at any time before Moses was even born but chose to let them suffer (including letting babies suffer being eaten alive by crocs)
Thank goodness we know for sure the Exodus never happened!

💖 Master the Future of Love in Hebrew! 💖
You know the language of love is universal, but there's something truly special about expressing it in Hebrew.
Today, I'm bringing you something that’s close to my heart - conjugating the verb "to love" in future tense. 💕
Why future tense, you ask? Because love isn’t just about the here and now; it’s a promise, a commitment to a future together. Imagine telling your loved one not just that you love them now, but that you WILL love them, in all the tomorrows to come. Is there anything more beautiful and reassuring than that? 🥰
Learning how to express this in Hebrew brings a certain depth and richness to your relationships. It's not just about the words; it's about the emotion and intention behind them. 🌹
So let's see the breakdown of this heartwarming verb in future tense. Trust me, this is not just a grammar lesson; this is a lesson in love. 💌
Shall we dive into the poetic and romantic side of Hebrew? 💙🤍

so i haven't talked about this too much on here, but i've been researching conversion to judaism for a while (since early 2022, mostly constrained to tiktok and other, relatively informal online resources) and while my current living situation isn't really stable enough at the moment for me to get into long-term contact with a synagogue or a rabbi (tldr i'm planning to move overseas at the beginning of next year), i've been wanting to get in touch with some more concrete resources about the conversion process. i've been reading living a jewish life by anita diamant, but if anybody knows of any other books or other resources that might be good supplements to that book, i'd love to hear about them! i know there's a lot of information out there and lots of different paths to take, but i'd love to get other people's takes, if you've got any to offer!

i genuinely love when ppl talk abt torah and include midrash as if it's part of the text. like yes so true we do tell this over and over again and get to know it so well that the lines between what's technically canon and what's not blur

grrrrgrggr ok wait as a mythology and folklore enjoyer do u know what i despise. those kind of stories like american gods or or the mcu or even, with love, percy jackson, where every god from every culture is real except for the "abrahamic" God. i am saying this as a cuasi-religious person okay. for these stories they often choose religions that are not very widely followed, they draw from ancient greek or egyptian or norse myth because they feel nobody would be offended. but anthropologists world wide hate you

Does anyone remember that 1995 2-episode miniseries about the prophet Joseph, starring Paul Mercurio? I used to love it as a kid, and I just remembered that it existed. May have to track it down for a nostalgia watch

Ayin - The eyes of Gods' providence
The Son who got us out of the pit we were in, got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating. We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God's original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels - everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body. So spacious is he, so roomy, that everything of God finds its proper place in him without crowding. Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe - people and things, animals and atoms - get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the Cross.
You yourselves are a case study of what he does. At one time you all had your backs turned to God, thinking rebellious thoughts of him, giving him trouble every chance you got. But now, by giving himself completely at the Cross, actually dying for you, Christ brought you over to God's side and put your lives together, whole and holy in his presence. You don't walk away from a gift like that! You stay grounded and steady in that bond of trust, constantly tuned in to the Message, careful not to be distracted or diverted. There is no other Message - just this one. Every creature under heaven gets this same Message. I, Paul, am a messenger of this Message
Colossians 1, 14-23
