Finally made it back to Japan! It was a wonderful holiday, but so many stores relocated or closed it was hard to make my way around. Wound up at RECOfan in Shibuya and found a Japanese Lovetown tour program & couldn’t remember if I already had one.
So, for future reference, this is my collection of tour souvenir books/programs. My tour history is only 33 shows (34 if you count Bono's Book Tour), the first being nosebleed seats for ZooTV Lakeland on February 29, 1992.
UNFORGETTABLE FIRE - Europe & USA 1984 / USA 1985
LOVETOWN - Australia / Japan 1989
ZOOTV - USA 1992
OUTSIDE BROADCAST - USA 1992
ZOOMERANG, NEW ZOOLAND - 1993
POPMART - Europe & USA 1997 (R.O.W. 1998 no dates)
ELEVATION - USA 2001
VERTIGO - North America 2005
INNOCENCE+EXPERIENCE - North America 2015
I likely have the program for 360º (*edit* found my i+e program from The Forum), but I'm not sure where I've stuffed it away. I also have the VIP guitar pic & drum patch from the 2nd JT2019 show in Tokyo, but I don't recall picking up the tour program. At some point, I need to get the programs for War & the original Joshua Tree tours.

FOR YOUR MOTÖRHEAD MONDAY -- DID YOU REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR TOUR PROGRAM IN '82?
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on an original MOTÖRHEAD Tour Program for the band's "Iron Fist Tour," and featuring the band's classic lineup of Lemmy Kilmister, "Fast" Eddie Clarke and "Philthy Animal" Taylor. It was to be their last. The international tour of the album started on 3-17-1982 and would finish on 11-24-1982.
"As guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke told me: "Iron Fist" was the toughest because we were getting low on ideas and things were getting strained.”
Drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor was particularly affected by the onrush of fame, Eddie claimed.
“Lemmy was not himself, either… Indeed, Lemmy had begun to delight his ego just a tad too much of late. Playing the biggest show of their career so far, headlining a six-band line-up billed as the Heavy Metal Barndance at Bingley Hall in Stafford, in 1981, Lemmy collapsed halfway through; the rest of the show was cancelled.
“Lemmy’s been up for three days drinking vodka,” said a still pissed-off Clarke. “He’s been fucking chicks all day and we’ve got twelve thousand kids crammed waiting for us. All day people have been offering me lines of coke, and I’ve only had one fucking Heineken because I want to be together for this show.
"Fifty-five minutes into the set, Lemmy disappears backwards, collapses on the stage. Me and Phil are furious. "You let us down, you cunt!" And he’s saying: "Me being up for three nights has nothing to do with it." Of course not!""

the 28 drop after years of it being teased, after years of us loving these seemingly-then-proven custom items louis wore on and off stage, featuring fucking flowers on his chest, triangles, that fucking number we'll never fully understand. and that the jersey from the first afhf, that is etched into our memory, a monument, is included in the first collection............ yeah

I can't stand Louis' tour starting and ending with a suitcase of tracksuit this year, I expect to see different outfits, things that Louis feels comfortable in, I'll be disappointed if this doesn't happen😔
Harry's outfits are always beautiful and have special designs, And even if it's not my concert, I'll at least go to UAs every day to see what Harry is wearing, what he said
Oh nonnie, it’ll be all Louis for Louis’ tour. Best not to compare them.
The visual concept seems to be the exact same for FITFWT. So I assume Louis will go with similar outfits. So it’ll be comfy clothes, some with crazy prints on it for us to conspire about, but basically it’s all polos, fun shirts, black denims and sometimes track pants for special occasions.
The outfits look casual, but we all know when looking at the brand and the price tag, they are far from it.
I hope we’ll get to see more 28 official programme designs. I wonder if Louis will make them a fashion line eventually. That’d be so nice.

8. "Die Godin" von Robert Hültner

I was thinking this morning- Harry gets his custom Gucci outfits, and then Louis has designed his own custom clothing line for himself (28 Official Programme). It’s like they’re just two sides of the same coin

MOTÖRMUSIC, MOTÖRMANIA, THE MOTÖRMASTERS -- ALL CROSSING OVER INTO COMIC BOOKS.
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on front and back cover art to a comic book turned tour programme, featuring MOTÖRHEAD in a storyline titled "Rock Commando." The comic was reportedly produced specifically for the "Over the Top Heavy Metal Brain Damage Party” at Bingley Hall, Staffordshire, UK, on July 26, 1980. Story & artwork by Klaus Bloom.
OVERVIEW: "By 1980 MOTÖRHEAD had become a massive live attraction, selling out everywhere they played. During the summer the band headlined “The Over the Top Heavy Metal Brain Damage Party” (great title for a rock concert) at Bingley Hall, Staffordshire.
A comic programme, which featured “The Overwhelming MOTÖRHEAD” in “Rock Commando” was produced especially for (reportedly exclusive) distribution at their Bingley Hall concert.
I didn’t attend the gig (at least I don’t think I did, unless perhaps the Heavy Metal Brain Damage really has got to me 🙂 ) but I have a copy of the comic which I must have bought at a later gig, probably at the Mayfair later that year.
The comic was written by Klaus Blum with a section from Alan Burridge of Motorheadbangers, and features a great comic strip adventure with our heroes in a futuristic England and France."
