Konbini Kareshi means Convenience Store Boyfriends

Okay so I recently heard of the anime Konbini Kareshi and you know what else I found out?

That the voice actors are the same ones for Okita and Kagura

This fact allowed me to type in ‘Konbini Kareshi episode 1′ and smash the search button

Alright so the first thing I paid attention to was their voices- Towa sounds like he inhaled too much helium and I think at one point of the episode his voice was lower and it sounded exactly like Sougo in my opinion so I screamed at that.

Another thing I noticed was his and Mami’s appearance:

Once I saw them I was legit like 

“WAIT WAIT THAT LOOKS FAMILIAR!”

and then it came to me

Could be a coincidence i think not

I don’t know, I’m in denial of the lack of okikagu in my life.

Rose looked into the mirror and was pleasantly surprised at the result. "Ah.. is.. that really me?" She asked, she gently touched the hair that he had cut.. it was beautiful. She looked like an actual rose now.

She blushed slightly as she realised she'd been admiring for far too long. She stood from the bed and smiled at the two. "Thank you for your services.. uh.. I don't really know if there's anything I can do in return? I can't pay you but..." She shrugged. "I should give you something in return for a job like this." She smiled.

Her mind did unfortunately wander to what Haiji would think.. she knew he liked her long hair, bit this new cut was gorgeous. She felt really confident, or at least more confident than anxious.

“No, no, you don’t have to do anything! I’m just happy that you’re happy!” Mareo put everything back in his case while Kiyoshi started sweeping the hair from the floor and bed. “That’s the best payment for me.”

Kiyoshi gathered the hair in a sweeping shovel and poured it in a trash can. “You know, if you want to pay Mareo, he’s addicted to gumdrops.”

Mareo’s cheeks burst with hot color. “Kiyoshi!” His husband just laughed. “You’re one to talk! You finished all my gumdrops this morning, so don’t say I’m the one who’s addicted.”

Kiyoshi tried to speak through his laughing bouts. “Chill out, sweetheart! Future Foundation will send more.”

Mareo sighed lightheartedly and shook his head. “Note to self: Get to them before you do.”
