Boss encounters take awhile, so I’ve been drawing the bosses we fight during our game! 

Lil’ Blue- The name was ironic, this massive beetle was terrorizing a local town from beneath the lake where she lived. She was soundly defeated when my lizardfolk character swam beneath her, while she was distracted by the rest of the party, and delivered two bites to her unguarded undercarriage.

The Tower of Terror- While returning to the city after our fight with Lil’ Blue, this massive tower rose from the ground and blocked our path. Its magical opal core brought two golems to life to combat us, but our warlock’s clever use of a Move Earth spell exposed its weak point and lead us to a sound victory.

The Night Terror- The party found ourselves surrounded by a magical darkness, from which rose a storm of pixie-possessed detritus formed into a terrifying monster. Using our campfire, we managed to set alight its mostly wooden body and vanquish the beast.

The Sky Scraper- The local area seemed to have a problem with pixies, as this town was regularly struck by attacks from the malicious spirits and the rubble it possessed. With the help of a local alchemist, we managed to destroy most of its body using vials of acid. In one last, desperate attempt at our lives, it formed its remaining parts into a massive, skeletal hand to strike down our troublesome adventurers, but was ultimately defeated.
