In a series of completely unrelated coincidences, the same family moves into a haunted house, attracts the attention of a local poltergeist, purchases an evil ventriloquist dummy, activates a witch's curse, and adopts the newborn antichrist, all in the same week.

It laughs, it laughs, a multitude of overlapped voices whispering their amusement as Techno strains to hold on to the last of his consciousness. All he can hear is them.
“Give me Tommy,” he thinks. “Give me Tommy, you fucking bitch.”

SCOTT APPRECIATION WEEK (DAY 2) → FAVORITE FRIENDSHIP/NEMESIS
nemesis is absolutely a stretch for derek, but he was an antagonist in both seasons 1 and 2, and scott’s first enemy-turned-ally. derek, as a teenager, is shown to be what the scott we’re first introduced to wants to be; athletic, popular, in love. derek, as the adult we’re first introduced to do, is a version of scott that everything has gone wrong for. through earning trust and developing faith in each other, both characters are rewarded; derek rebuilds his personhood and scott grows into his werewolfhood.

Loved beyond evil for the "your family could have died but you still have to eat" and the "we might fight with each other but when the enemy messes with us we become one" and the "will you be alright?" and the "do wenches deserve to be murdered?" and the "there's things that can't be left for law to handle" and the "you knew i did this and you chose to not tell anyone" and the "even if you were gonna land in a fiery pit you have to eat" and the "let's go inside" and the "you don't need to be successful, as long as you eat well, sleep well and not hurt anyone you're good enough"

Heart aching. Palms sweating...
You sit across the diner
unaware of my shy gaze,
eating, reading, talking to her -
illuminated by cheap flickering fluorescents.
These quiet fleeting moments
I try to capture in ink
so easily erased by coffee stains,
reminding me of the things
I cannot want.
no such thing.
I look up at--
Soon replaced by another boy
same tear-stained heart -
my only constant.

I’ve been thinking about Ben’s relationships with his 14 necrofriggian children. So it’s been stated that necrofriggian’s are an antisocial species that go live on their own immediately upon hatching. But Ben isn’t necrofriggian and his children have a least a little bit of human in them.
So they leave, go to space and do their goth moth thing. Ben didn’t have time to get really attached and the whole situation was very weird and uncomfortable. But they’re still his children and sometimes he aches for them, worries for them and wonders how they’re doing. It’s not an every day thing and he knows its what their species was made to do (not to mention he cannot in any capacity care for 14 alien babies on his own even if he wasn’t a fulltime teen superhero) but sometimes he looks at the sky and is just overcome with parental feelings.
Likewise, his kids know him and can recognize him in all his forms. They’re doing their own thing but sometimes the part of them that is human longs for their parent. Occasionally one or a few or all will fly by home to visit Ben who will do his best to be there for them, abandoning school, running out of important meetings, to see his babies. When they’re in sight, he is such a fussy parent and strokes their antennae and carries them around. They stay anywhere from hours to a few days before going back to the stars. Ben stands there, watching them fly off and shouting at them to keep each other safe and to stay warm. His friends and family gave up on teasing him about it because it is really sweet always Ben is terrifying when he’s in mommy mode.

NO. TERRIBLE. You can’t just lecture us on the Gem’s tragic backstory and then immediately start dropping hints about your own, Greg. I’m going to sue this episode for emotional damages.
