Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 Concept, 2023. Another of TGR's prototypes for this year's Tokyo Auto Salon which has been developed utilising the knowledge gained by participating in the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). TGR is putting into practice its approach of "Making ever-better motorsports-bred cars" by commercially providing cars that have been honed to win races. The Rally2 meets the Rally2 regulations used by many customer motorsports teams.

Opinions on the Toyota GR Yaris? I personally love her a lot but she can be a little controversial among Toyota fans

Oh, the GR Yaris? I touched on it a while ago! You're gonna have to fill me in on the controversy because genuinely beyond "this fucks too impossibly hard" I cannot fathom a reason not to consider it one of the top handful greatest cars of the decade so far.

I mean I'm not really 100% sold on the looks, it kinda looks like the roof has been chopped down...

...but that's why you have the aftermarket bodykits I mean have you SEEN the widebody kits HELLO????

So yeah. The Delta Integrale was one of my favorite cars ever as a kid (the unaware can ask about it) and I'm glad that in spite of everything my generation now has theirs.

Although we'll see about the six consecutive WRC wins. ,':)

Triunfo récord para Sebastien Ogier en el Rally de Montecarlo

Fue dominio absoluto. El ocho veces campeón de WRC, Sebastien Ogier, ganó la mitad de las especiales del Rally de Montecarlo incluyendo las 5 primeras para ganar con un cómodo margen sobre Kalle Rovanpera.

Con el triunfo, Ogier se convierte en el piloto más exitoso de la historia del Rally de Montecarlo al conseguir su noveno triunfo en el prestigioso evento, uno más que Sebastien Loeb con quién estaba empatado en 8.

Fue un tremendo rally para Toyota, que ganó 16 de las 18 etapas y se quedó con un 1-2. Pudo ser más luego de que Elfyn Evans sufriera un pinchazo el día viernes que le costó cerca de 40 segundos. Evans no pudo alcanzar a Thierry Neuville que anotó el tercer lugar del podio para Hyundai.

Ogier se encuentra corriendo un calendario parcial y se ausentará del Rally de Suecia entre el 9 y el 12 de febrero.

Toyota GR Yaris RZ Special Editions, 2024. Gazoo Racing have revealed 2 newly driver-supervised Yaris RZ models. There's a more subtle GR Yaris RZ "High performance・Sébastien Ogier Edition" (Ogier Edition)  or somewhat louder GR Yaris RZ "High performance・Kalle Rovanperä Edition" (Rovanperä Edition). Sales are limited to 100 of each for the Japanese market. There are new  4WD control modes specific to each edition
