Not going to lie NOBODY is going to probably read this shit (if you are check out my Emma birthday art instead I'm so proud) BUTTTTT I just.. love the Norman = James' son and Ray = Yugo's son theories so much like???
"But Ray was supposed to be the only one with a connection to his biological mother!" WHATEVER, WHATEVER
Also ouggghhh just the THOUGHT of Smee helping Norman in Lambda to atone for his past mistake of killing James (he'd lure him out of hiding with the news that he had a son, aka Norman and OH GOD then he'd kill him)
only for Norman to find out Smee killed HIS father, get mad at him and then BAM Smee dies ❤️ perfect angst AND gives Norman more reason to want to rid of all demons
When Smee told Peter James said "Tell him I'm sorry" after Peter asked if he had any last words that shit would so be meant for little baby Norman I'm so sorry
And for Ray and Yugo, it was probably something silly like "oh they took Yugo's DNA and used it to get Isabella pregnant eventually" but still like imagine how bad that would hurt
You also cannot tell me Ray is not a mini Yugo my ears will be closed I will not hear a thing you say
As for how Norman got into Gracefield? If his mother (I say Matilda) was a cattle child, since James was dead and Peter was in charge, I feel like Peter would send him to GF
Can't completely explain it but I feel he would for sure, BUT he did have the decency to 'save' Norman by taking him to Lambda
If Peter referred to himself as Norman's dad I just know James would be rolling in his grave
Anyway that's enough for me but I'd totally elaborate further in DMS these are my fav TPN theories

I have a headcanon which is William Minerva hide house's and tpn's world's story in House's library. Write it on books.
Yes, in canon the truth hiding in books but i'm talking about books original topic. For example a story about a sheep. Sheep's farm described like house. Similiar to Grace field and make childiren think "isn't it like our home, what if we are sheeps ?"
Tumblr media
This can seem so abstract but if it hide good in books and have good storys childiren think about it, childiren can find . Or books just here to support childiren's suspects, for example Ray ıdentify other memories and find something is disaccord then Ray read that books in library and understand house's secret. Phil says to Emma "ı already thought Norman was dead" is confuse with this theory so maybe Phil isn't think thoroughly "this place is a farm " but some thoughts in his brain get along with his suspects. Then he unite pieces
Why I think this theory makes sense because there already was hiding pieces in Grace field. The shape of the house that Norman drew on his expedition is hidden in the tests:

When you think about it... (part 3) (SPOILERS!)
(This is just my personal theory) How many times do the victims (aka the women) in tpn get pregnant? And why did they keep documents of who their child was. Do they also keep documents on who the father is? (i personally doubt they would just be giving them a random sperm donor)
Tumblr media
Is it possible that if ever the child gets a good score on their daily tests, will they impregnate the mother again? And with the sperm from the same father? So that they will make another intelligent child??? Or will they give the mother a sperm that's from a different but a smarter father to make an even more intelligent child??? IS IT POSSIBLE THAT CAROL IS EMMA’S BIOLOGICAL SISTER OR HALF SISTER?! REMEMBER EMMA GOT GOOD SCORES SOO-
Tumblr media
I doubt Ray has a biological sibling even though he has a very skilled mother. I think all women are forced to have a child before they become a mama or a sister. Because there's just NO WAY they will have THAT many kids in each plantation if having a child is one of the requirements to become a mama or a sister. I also think that since there are 4 plantations, there will only be 4 candidates available to become a mama or a sister. And once they achieve to become a mama or a sister, they are safe from being impregnated again.
It was stated that Isabella was the first to have ever become the youngest mama at 20(??). Meaning she only got pregnant once.
Remember when I said that all women are forced to have a kid? Well I can imagine that they will not just get ALL the women impregnated at once but slowly but surely get each or few of the women to have a kid once more and more children get shipped in order to avoid suspicions. or maybe it is possible for intelligent kids like norman, emma and possibly don, phil and gilda to have biological siblings. And i think that if the woman has a 2nd child and that child is also intelligent, they will impregnate the mother again to make ANOTHER INTELLIGENT CHILD!! OMG!
What do y'all think?
sorry for grammatical errors. I am not the best in explaining but I'm trying.

Hey!! I really love your sskk/odazai parallels and I really believe these parallels are intentional!! Especially with moments like this “a mafia member who doesn’t kill, huh, you two are fighters just like us” and the whole beast novel!! like beast is FULL of parallels and anyone who don’t see it is just in denial!! Anyway after reading a lot of analysis i thought that maybe it’s not necessary that the parallels have to be between only two characters but maybe it’s between the four them, i always thought that the parallels are between oda/atsushi dazai/akutagawa but maybe it’s actually between them all?? this analysis—
https://linkspooky.tumblr.com/post/623629392218931200/a-mafia-member-who-doesnt-kill
—talks about the parallel between oda and akutagwa and it’s just sooo good I really recommend reading it!!
[Analysis link]
Yeaaaahh I agree with your take wholeheartedly Anon, parallels can be drawn between all the four of them and that's what makes it so interesting to compare them!!! For how I see them, I think they move more or less on a spectrum of this kind, with Dazai switching to Oda's place after Dark Era:
Tumblr media
And thank you so much for the recommendation, that was such a good reading!!!! The Akutagawa / Oda parallels are really so compelling, particularly in the way they previously used to kill to demonstrate their own worth, because that's everything they thought they were good at- and then unlearning that through another person. Makes me wish they had more chances to interact in canon, but hey at least there's Beast (╥﹏╥) On my way to reread Beast brb
Tbh it makes so much more sense for Oda to not judge Dazai for what he did - killing, torturing, abusing children etc. - when you take into account that Oda himself doesn't have rigid good / evil moral principles and actually sees doing good as a choice rather than doing it because that's what is just. And Dazai knows it, and that's why he feels so accepted around Oda ;;;;;; Like he doesn't feel the need to try to act evil, he doesn't feel the need to try to act good, but he can just be and that's why he enjoys Oda's company so much.
One thing I find especially interesting is how Oda never tried to impose his moral principles to Dazai. It was always a “I do it like this, you do it like that”; Oda never held an ounce of bitterness or resentment towards Dazai for killing or mistreating orphans nor he judged him for that, although he acted the opposite. And that's exactly because Oda himself has a very relativistic view of morality; and that's why Dazai is so drawn to him, because he's fascinated as to why someone who shares his own ambiguous view of morality would still choose to do good. Even in his last moments, what Oda offered Dazai felt more like a suggestion rather than a last will; a “maybe you can be a little happier if you try doing this”. He wasn't trying to persuade Dazai to pursue a greater good, but rather suggestibg a solution to the emptiness he feels inside, because he's his friend and he loves him. And that's because Oda deeply understands Dazai - arguably even better than Dazai understands himself -, sees in what they're similar, and knows what would work for Dazai just like it did for himself. In fact the thing about Oda understanding Dazai and Akutagawa understanding Atsushi was so spot on like YES that's exactly what I've been saying!!!! Akutagawa is so deeply concerned in trying to understand Atsushi's actions and motivations he will go out of his way to directly interrogate him about them and I think that's beautiful.
Thank you again for asking, love you!!! 💕💕

🦉👒The Influence of One Piece in The Promised Neverland (A very self-indulgent post)
Tumblr media
The straw hats worn by the girls in The Promised Neverland ch. 47 color cover were a tribute to One piece's 20th anniversary. It has always been Shirai sensei's favorite tpn illustration ever since.
An entire generation in Japan grew up following One piece. Many of the young readers from late 1900s are now the newgen mangaka currently working in Shonen jump.
Tumblr media
Kouhei Horikoshi as a high schooler (15yo) sent a one piece fanart to Oda in 2002. Twelve years later, he starts his own manga, now promoted by One piece author Eiichiro Oda himself.
One piece got Shirai into JUMP manga.
I started reading Jump Magazine for the first time when I was in Junior High. One Piece was the trigger that made me subscribe to it like a machine, and then I thought “other manga are fun too!”, and thus became addicted.
-Kaiu Shirai (2020), The Promised Neverland artbook.
Suguru Sugita, the person Shirai submitted his og manuscript to, was Toriko's editor in charge. The following year (2014), Sugita became One Piece's manga editor (later its media editor in 2017). Sugita retired from One piece altogether in 2019, while working as TPN editor from 2016 to 2020.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Promised Neverland + former One Piece editor, Suguru Sugita. On the right is a doodle drawn by Eiichiro Oda sensei introducing him.
"O-Sugi. This is the media editor, Sugita. Well natured, romanticist. Throws in random onomatopoeia. So drippy from head to toe that the girls avoid him. Compliments juniors on an annoying level. Has a strange dream -> ("I'll get myself a Kansai-ben speaking gf within this year!") Has lots of friends, but daydreams too much so he might not be able to get hitched soon."
From TPN's pre-serialization stage to its final days, Sugita was closely involved with both One piece and The Promised Neverland. Regardless of the difference in genre, One piece's influence in TPN is evident, many of which were suggested by editor Sugita.
Following are a compilation of details discussed in the The Promised Neverland fanbook where the author-editor duo noted the influence of One Piece in its creation.
🦉 The food, the biology
(The Promised Neverland Search for Minerva + final arc spoilers)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In One Piece, the characters can obtain special powers by eating cursed fruits called Devil Fruits (Luffy's elasticity, for example). This served as a basis for The Promised Neverland's demon biology. During early stages of TPN first arc, there was no specific concept involving demon's diet (thus we hear two demons casually talking about eating cats). Post escape, editor Sugita suggested to add the concept of 'becoming what you eat', stated to be directly inspired by One Piece (fanbook ch. 2). It was decided that the demons in TPN would be heavily dependant on human meat to maintain their sentience.
Tumblr media
One piece x Toriko official crossover spread, two manga in JUMP where food meant a lot more than simply filling your stomach.
"Food" both a narrative and thematic tool behind One Piece, so much so that a recently popular theory is that (avoid if you want) the protagonist's secret dream at the end of his journey is to throw a massive party that would connect different races together in a brotherly bond. Each arc ends with a scene of partying and singing, a musician was one of the first crewmate positions Luffy wanted to fill in his ship.
Tumblr media
Yugo's refusal to eat and join the table subtly hinted his refusal to partake in such bonding. It's another detail pointed out in the fanbook (ch. 3). The food scenes in One Piece had not only inspired Shirai but also Haikyuu author, Furudate Haruichi (stated in Haikyuu databook).
🦉 Characters as Inspirations
Tumblr media
[Romance Dawn + Goldy Pond spoiler] One piece character Helmeppo was the inspiration behind Goldy Pond demon, Luce. Helmeppo was one of the earliest characters introduced in One Piece (ch.3), a weak but spoiled child of a marine officer who'd exploit his father's influence to get about anything. Luce, the youngest hunter in Goldy Pond, was the son of Dozza. Helmeppo was redeemed eventually, unlike Luce.
[Shabondy Archipelago + TPN final arc spoiler] The World Nobles in One Piece are arrogant slave-owners hailed as gods on earth for their ancestry. Lord Pupo's flashy appearance and simple-mindedness were inspired by them.
[Dressrosa + TPN final arc spoiler] Bartolomeo, an in-series fan of the protagonists, was introduced in One Piece manga at the time of Sugita's debut as One piece editor in 2014 and instantly became popular. In The Promised Neverland, Lambda kids were supposed to obey Norman in a normal manner. But editor Sugita wanted to lighten up the mood and make them goofy fanboys, inspired by Bartolomeo's success.
[Arabasta spoiler] One piece's first major antagonist Crocodile served as a base for TPN characters, mainly antagonists:
When I was drawing dignified characters for TPN, Sugita-san gave me a piece of advice called the "Crocodile Line". Whether or not Crocodile from One Piece would say such a line would determine whether or not the character (I made) was dignified enough. It was a good method. I love Crocodile so there's that too.
-Shirai in The Promised Neverland fanbook (pg. 196)

Let's see how closely it parallels TPN
Earlier, I mentioned that I had bought vol20 and an epilogue volume of The Promised Neverland and then ordered a copy of the other 19 volumes.
Well, yesterday I picked up the six volumes that have arrived. The order they arrive in is so random. I received vols 1, 3, 4, 10, 14, and 19. Well, at least I have vol1, so I can start reading. And it's also good I was able to pick these up and pay for them once their Labor Day sale had begun, so I got 25% off the cover price, instead of the usual 10% off for manga.
It's funny to me that when I first started getting very deeply into Mother3 theory for Kuroshitsuji that people would say they hate the theory on the grounds that it means Yana-san is relying so much on someone else's work. I still get the occasional dismissal of my theory for that reason... or even an accusation that I'm saying she's copying or plagiarizing. I keep having to say it's not plagiarism or flat-out copying.
I wonder what those same people think about the current assignment and how closely it seems to follow not just a particular part of Mother3 but also The Promised Neverland. 🤔
Well, soon I'll be able to see for myself just how closely F. O. L. Orphanage's activities match with TPN.

Human Experimentation or a Delicious Meal?
With Black Butler’s 203rd chapter release, we have more unsettling news for the F.O.L. Kids. I mentioned before that we still don’t know the full bane for the acronym but my suspicion is still leaning towards Funtom Orphanage Lab with the evidence from 203.
And once again our current arc through a sketchy orphanage is bringing up more similarities to another fave manga of mine of which I’ve talked about before: The Promised Neverland.
Continuing from the last post, which you can find here, there are more things that feel the same when compared to the TPN. Though chapter 200 was the start of this mini series, not even 3 chapters later in 203 we have MORE information to compare.
Bases of Operation
The bases of operation are so well hidden yet right under everyone’s nose. If it weren’t for Emma and Norman’s realization they were surrounded by a wall with a gate, or if Snake’s snakes didn’t come along to pick up a scent, they would still be well hidden and right under everyone’s nose. But these kids are smart, they know how to look and use the environments around them
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Child Preservation (warning, graphic)
203 and the beginning of TPN aren’t fucking around when it comes to child preservation. When Conny was discovered and now in this case, Ginny, both were found in a not so happy place
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, with TPN we know these kids are being plucked to get eaten where as in 203 we still don’t know what is going on. Racks upon racks of human parts are being stored, for what? Are these parts being used to create dolls? Are they being used to replace parts in dolls that already exist-to expand their life force?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Clearly we’ll learn something in Finny’s upcoming backstory and how this method of extracting parts and pieces of young kids for experimentation. Maybe Finny was a rescued Doll experiment?
Mother Is Always Watching
The Maids/Mothers (Isabelle) always seem to know when the kiddos are afoot and in places they shouldn’t be. Maybe my own mother’s saying “I have eyes in the back of my head” are true in them knowing when exactly to show up. They runt he operation as puppets controlled by a higher power. You better watch out!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Smart and Eldest Child is Next
Much like TPN when the younger dead child get’s found, the next one to go is the smartest, and eldest child. Like its their prime ripe season of child picking. After Conny’s discovery, Norman was to be “adopted” and in this case Theo is to be “fledged”.
The reason in TPN was because Isabelle knew Norman had information. In 203, if mother’s intuition is correct, they probably already suspect that Theo knows more than he should.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My suspicion in Theo’s case is that R!Ciel is starting to whither and needs parts his age to survive.
Hopefully 204 will give us more answers and maybe some more comparisons, but for now, theories are up in the air.

182 Days of TPN - Day 14
Chapter 14: “Trump Card”
It’s interesting how the scene of Ray becoming Isabella’s spy is done differently on three separate occasions. As he’s retelling the moment to Norman right now, he seems relatively calm about making the deal, whereas in ch181.5 (back when it was actually happening) Ray was so frightened that Isabella might ship him off for knowing the truth that his heart was racing. (I’ll mention the third instance once I get to ch37. this a memo to myself so I don’t forget).
Tumblr media
I’ve been trying to avoid chatting about cover & extra pages since they usually are typically pretty scenes that may or may not relate to the current situation of the story and/or try to lighten the mood with humor, but I wanna mention this one. First off, the Grace Field library is huge and it’s crazy to think that Ray actually manages to read every single book before the escape. I’m also intrigued by some of the details on the books themselves, aside from the obvious “never” with an old-styled ship that appears in several places throughout the story, but never really means much in the end. I remember a lot of people used to make theories about them though. Oh.. unless the ship was to reference the shipments themselves..? I only just thought of that. Anyways, there’s also some books that have “treachery” and “betray” written on them. The book on the shelf near Emma’s antenna has “read this yourself” written on the spine and it gets me curious, like what kind of book would say that? Speaking of our girl, I’m sure she was pretty upset upon learning that Ray was in fact mom’s spy, but more shocked and sympathetic than anything (but saving those thoughts for next chapter).
Tumblr media
I know this is a serious conversation between the two of them, truly, but those middle panels are so funny to me. They already look so done with each other’s bullshit and the deal has only just begun. It’s gonna be a long six years for them.
Tumblr media
This chapter gives Ray many psycho faces, but this is probably my favorite of the bunch. I can hear “Existence of an Insider” in my head perfectly. I still prefer that over his “81194” theme too. I dunno why.
Tumblr media
Despite the history he has with Isabella, the fact they can chat so casually about the situation amuses me. Makes me wonder if this is how Isabella would handle Ray’s mischief in a normal life. The “useless dog” part kills me each time. I don’t doubt that Ray knew Norman was very capable of picking locks and he just decided to keep that info from her either. Hell, maybe he even taught him. Ray likes to tinker with stuff, so I can imagine Norman became interested in doing so as well. (for the life of me, I can’t remember if this is factual (and if so, from where) or a popular fandom headcanon..)
Tumblr media
Favorite panel/moment:
I love this little interaction with all my heart! All of them are just so precious. I sadly understand why the anime left it out though (and had Ray pause at the top of the stairs and then walk away instead), as an adorable moment like this really wouldn’t have fit the tense mood the RN conversation left us with since “Existence of an Insider” was also still playing at this point.
Tumblr media
I still think it could’ve worked somehow. We don’t see Ray & Emma really interact again until he reveals he’s the real traitor to her, so perhaps it would’ve surprised her more from seeing him act so friendly one moment then finding out he’s been sorta kinda betraying her the next? Ah well.

referring to ur post/answer about norman being a ratri- firstly. "silly goofy mood" is a HILARIOUS reason for him to have a cattle child AKDBAJHD. fuck sexual desire or convoluted planning, he was just feeling silly :3 SECONDLY pleasee tell me more about the fifth theory (or literally any and all of them ill never get tired of talking about tpn)
LMAOOO the first theory I listed is honestly the least likely to me, as the the timeline doesn’t add up (James dying ~3 years before Norman was born and all) and literally why would it matter that James hid a child within the farms? Maybe if he’d been found out and disposed of only a few months prior to Norman’s birth I’d be more like “yeah no he’s Norman’s dad.”
But. From a writing perspective. I do think it matters that Ray is the only character whose story is tied in with his biological parentage and thematically, it needs to stay that way. In my personal opinion.
I also think it’s thematically important that Peter is left completely alone and desperate at the end of the series, and Norman being related to him in any direct way messes with that, for me.
Which is whyyyy that 5th theory hits just right for me! Norman looks like the Ratris, this character looks just like Norman…… there’s no reason for me to believe she wasn’t a Ratri.
Tumblr media
It’s my personal HC that she was born into the Ratri clan, and was potentially married off in order to forge a political alliance between the different factions of humans that existed at the time. We know that the Ratri Clan is inherently patriarchal, and considering this part of the story took place ~1,000 years ago, it makes sense. At least to me! But if that *is* the case, she also wouldn’t have been recorded as a Ratri but rather “(Man)’s Wife” and that teeny but important detail would have been erased.
Also because it’s me, this ties heavily into my “Noremma are soulmates who find each other in every lifetime” spiraling lmfaoo but without getting too much into that, I basically think their predecessors were married (political marriage or otherwise, choose your own adventure). Or at the very least were so aligned idealistically that Julius Ratri saw no issue with including her as part of the Foundation of Peace, despite her technically being related to him.
Anyway, I’m rambling haha! But that’s the jist of it! 🥰

Bungou Stray Dogs just feel extremely connected with The Neverending Story. In Neverending Story, stories create stories and actually nothing have a end. Connected with it nothing have a start if they don't have story. Stories cause stories so its imposible to finish a story if you live in Fantasia. (The universe in Neverending Story)
There was endless universes endless possibilities endless characters endless situations. The book. Fantasia have a book which everything happen in Fantasia writing in it. Fantasia's book can't search a living creature just can found it . Book written by Old Soul Of the Wandering Mountain. (I can't directly translate it to English because i read it turkish)
Michael Ende (writer of Neverending Story and fascinating fantastic books , his books live forever in my brain) would be a great bsd oc. Michael Ende as a bsd character, ımagine...
People who live in world we know- and world we think we live- can come in to Fantasia. For example Shekespeare describe as a Fantasia traveler. I wonder Howard Philips Lovecraft ever go there ?
So in Fantasia humans who have a brain to understand fantasia's world can travel Fantasia every bsd author and port have a brain to this. Bungou stray Dogs is a theory born in Fantasia's endless meadows, forests, houses. Neverlands
Nikolai Gogol's stories, evenings from a farm near Dikanka, from Ukrania mountains, Fantasia have a visual look to people who look at it.... Ohh

I live for the Norman Ratri theory! Especially because I like to believe that Norman and Adam are related-- this creates a convoluted family tree LOL Think about it~! The Lambda facility was of great importance to Peter during his time as head of the Ratri clan. What would it take for him to think that a Ratri-- someone related to him-- would be the perfect building blocks for creating new children. Perfect children in his perfect system? Did a lady related to the Ratris (by marriage or worse) try to escape the lineage and Peter decided to disown her children in the worst way possible? By throwing one child into the Lambda system and another child to the cattle? Of course he would assume that the Ratri are perfect so if you want to create a new batch of children who would be the building blocks of his new world order-- well I guess use a Ratri, am I right? Which makes it even worse when Adam was considered to be a failure. Peter was probably the one who decided to send Adam to Goldy Pond.
(Continuing the discussion from this post by @emmaspolaroid. Also peep my Norman Ratri tag that will hopefully continue to grow as it's a fun theory to play around with.)
Prefacing this with something I've mentioned in tags before: I remember after initially reading the manga thinking the Norman Ratri theory was adding too much to Norman's deck. He was already special for being a genius capable of 100% tests at four-years-old that stumped kids twice and triple his age, so to then make him even more special by being biologically related to the Ratris in some way seemed like overkill in addition to everything having to do with him taking up the mantle of Minerva and having the conflict with Ayshe that was conveniently sidestepped. (Yes, Emma's origins are never a conflict for her, but with how often lineage is prioritized for men in media, it would leave me mixed how out of the trio, Emma would be the only one with nothing like that causing her some internal strife since Ray's biological relationship with Isabella clearly brought him grief.)
That said, outside the bounds of canon or if canon were expanded upon and tweaked to give each member of the trio an internal conflict of similar weight, I'm also very, very big on the theory lol
Despite being the one to unperson James and order his death before he even turned sixteen, I still have trouble wrapping my head around the idea of Peter knowingly and willingly doing this to a Ratri child on the basis of viewing them as an extension of the clan rather than as individuals, so it's almost like it's a worse reflection on him not being able to restore the honor of this wayward branch of it by "salvaging" the traitor's children and raising them "correctly." He places so much value in being a Ratri and displays such disdain when speaking of the cattle children as food, it's hard to see him sullying the line in any way by condemning a member to the fate of the latter as opposed to just outright killing them, even if said member was an infant. That's still Ratri blood—his blood—that would be going into the farm system, and he would never let anyone as lowly as food have any sort of claim to such a noble and prestigious status.
But maybe James' betrayal really burned him, and while he once wouldn't consider this, now he's more caustic, brash, prone to lashing out, intoxicated on his newly bestowed position as the head of the clan and using it to indulge his more volatile impulses, that he goes through with this idea.
However, I'm more inclined to entertain the idea of another family member taking advantage of their position as a Ratri to have a dalliance with a Sister candidate, as @officersnickers brings up in this post. It's not something Peter would ever approve of, but what's done is done, and importantly there was no explicit denouncement of the clan in this act, which I feel he would take personal offense to. There's nothing he can do to save these children—the one-drop rule thoroughly entrenched in his mind, and their blood is thoroughly tainted—but maybe their Ratri lineage will win out and they'll be able to rise above their pitiful status, so he does keep tabs on both as he approves of them being sent on their separate ways in the system.
Which makes it even worse when Adam was considered to be a failure. Peter was probably the one who decided to send Adam to Goldy Pond.
He probably approved this with a spiteful flourish too, insulted that his theory proved wrong, that Adam wasn't able to live up to whatever arbitrary, narrow standards they set for him to determine his value as a living being.

I’VE ALWAYS HAD THIS RANDOM THOUGHT THAT THE REASON LESLIE WAS SHIPPED OFF WAS BECAUSE HE AND ISABELLA KNEW ABOUT THE FARM AND TRIED TO ESCAPE LIKE EMMA AND NORMAN AND RAY
after he was shipped, Isabella either tried to escape on her own or un-alive herself by jumping off but grandma tried to stop her. it was because she was so heartbroken that she stopped trying to escape and became a mother.
probably that’s why she shipped Norman off and convinced Emma to give up, so she can try and stop leaving like she did.

POSSIBLY!! Scarlet's children (SPOILERS)
OK OK OK HEAR ME OUT!! It's possible that scarlet has 3 children. If you read my posts "when you think about it...(part 3)" and "Possibly siblings!?" or read the manga, you know what I'm talking about.
Tumblr media
We have the eldest, Don. I assume he is the eldest because he is the tallest, oldest (obviously he is one of the older kids), and we see a bit of similarities in this panel. (LOOK THEY DID THE SAME POSE!! :D )

the youngest is Phil. I said this not just because him and don have the same hair and skin as scarlet but also because of this panel. As isabella said "I was raising YOUR children. They were at Plant 3. They're Alive" Notice that in this panel, it also showed Phil. This could imply that Phil is one of the sister's children. Again, possibly scarlet's son.

And next is the middle child whose name is not revealed but i can only assume this because she and Phil are the only ones with the :3 faces, and scarlet does not know who the father is. She doesn't even know if they have the same father. The little girl also seems to have some dark hair and the same eyes possibly inherited from her mom, scarlet.

sadly, she is the only one out of the 3 siblings who died. :(

Another thing why i assume she is the middle child is because we didn't see phil before her shipment. only don. Though sometimes i do think that she is the eldest cuz in this panel don seems to look a bit younger than her. Not to mention, her age wasn't revealed. Again, i can only speculate this.

When i think about it... this REALLY explains why scarlet was SO ANGRY that isabella got promoted instead of being killed for making a big mistake. Look at her, all the emotions she suppressed for years have EXPLODED as showed in this panel.

Imagine the PAIN of giving birth to 3 kids and all the sacrifices you have to do to live another day only for someone who made a fatal mistake, gets promoted and even gets to live THAT easily. Imagine all the emotions she suppressed while going through HELL. I can understand her frustrations even more at this point.

I do think she has given birth to a few children compared to probably most (victims) mothers due to her specialties. What do y'all think?
pls do share your thoughts i would LOVE to hear them out :D
And please no hate nor arguments. ONLY sharing of thoughts. Or brainstorming in other words. Thank you.
