it’s been two days since i listened to “juno steel and the monster’s reflection” and i have not stopped thinking about it since.

like… people are just people. even when you don’t want them to be. even when it would be easier if they were monsters, easier if they were just evil. you have to make the choice every day to not make the same mistakes your mother did. you have to make the choice every day to see past her in your reflection. and you have to make the choice to see that she felt and loved and hurt on accident and on purpose just like you do because she was human and then you still don’t have to forgive her. you can see that your mother loved you and that still doesn’t make it okay.

i have finished the second season of the penumbra podcast (junoverse, I'm finishing the second citadel because I'm really invested in them too) but omg I don't have words to express how much I've enjoyed this season!!! It's SO good!! Juno my beloved... and god I love Rita. And just everything, I don't know how to say but this season was fantastic. My heart is full of emotions. And I can't wait to keep watching to see what happens now that Peter Nureyev is back.
