So ok, most of you have probably seen the original picture this is based on, I wanted to find the original source of the image for people to link back to but I CAN'T find it. Most immediate sources lead to a reddit or twitter post that showed it with no info on the source and I didn't want that to be the link. One reddit version linked this article from the LA Times but this version features none of the original images from the Culture Monster Blog post it comes from, nor does the achieved version in the way back website. I also tried to find the source of the image and here's the initial data I found on it and the source info on the first available version of it. 

Finally I found this article about a photographer and included in her work is a photo that has to be from the same photoshoot as the image I'm trying to source so I'm CERTAIN that's she's the photographer of it. So, to summarize this frustrating deep dive, I believe the photographer of the Twelfth Night Bisexual Kiss picture that became a meme is Brigitte Lacombe.

Something I did last year for my bee biology class! Here is some stuff in spanish about the Tecoma Stans (commonly known as Chicala) which is a native Colombian plant I studied for some weeks to look at their polinators and insects around! (such as honey bees, which are not native; and some bumblebees like thygater aethiops and bombus hortulanus, both native. I also saw spiders, beetles and flies, but they are photos rather than illustrations) :D

Not gonna lie, I would love to participate in projects to make scientific illustrations someday!

Ok so explanation for how I got this idea:

So I got this witch-themed tree on sale a while ago, dolled her up and named her Mathilde. Of course I wouldn't want her to get lonely so I've been thinking of getting figure of sorts to dress as as a witch - a MANWHICH - and of course that means his name would be Sloppy Joe.

I was inspired hardcore and just HAD to draw them, and so this has been a project for the past week. Still learning the white ink and trying out different stuff so it's certainly not perfect, but it was super fun regardless!!

I actually meant to do it in color since Mathilde has a lot of the asexual pride colors (and the world needs more ace characters in it), but I get too excited with ink and forgot lol. My magical ace couple will just have to make a colorful appearance another time!

Description: And now, for the final piece, the Spies have multiplied! Each with their own motives to kill one another... and both twice as cancerous. I can only imagine the stink lines coming off of both of them. The only part of the series with some usage of colour! Plus, some shading, anatomy (which, admittedly, could be a bit better here) and, can you guess? Cool lettering.

And that's about it for today's little display of my earlier works. Hopefully, one day, we can see the difference in quality, for better or (though expectantly not) for worse.

Author’s Notes: First day of following the set schedule from yesterday- yay! Like I mentioned in the post-script, this is the artwork I made in January from a TF2 Daily Art challenge I did, as well as some descriptions about them to give you some context on the intention of their creation. I'm also including the ones from the last post, just to give more context around them. Also, quick reminder: you can give me suggestions for art &/ writing tomorrow, anything you'd like, as it is FRIDAY ORDER-OF-THE-DAY!!! (I... I don't know, I just needed something that rhymed. Don't question it). If there are none, I'll put up a fun poll to garner some ideas for next week, and I'll do something else instead of a request, too. So, yeah, hope you enjoyed.
