on the one hand I get it, because it’s very much presented like that in the game. but on the other *fist clench* it takes SO MUCH from your character. you make progress in such tiny steps. I’m at 210 and the game hasn’t even started yet. the character is throwing themself at this nebulous idea of the thing that they want most, the thing that will complete them. they’re giving everything to this game and then some, even before it starts.

what do they even want anymore, really? are they losing sight of who they are? if they lose, they stay in the game. if they win, who are they when they aren’t giving their life to a card game?

is it still worth it? was it ever? they’re in too deep now. they just want to make it stop. the only way out is through. if they could leave, would they?

It takes SO MUCH from your character even just early on with the starting of the game, let alone playing it, all for this chance of ~potentially~ winning, against people who've played it much longer then you.

and like heart's desire as a tragdy is just!!!! Its so there!!! You see how much others have given in this game long before you have, as it takes, and takes, and takes. But like come one, Tristam lost his damn mind in this! The- okay i wont go further here because ur not that far yet but theres more with other characters too.

Others have been stuck in this game for ages, and for what? Sure some have won... those have ended differently as you have seen.

How much are you willing to sacrifice for the mere chance of winning? How much are you willing to loose? What do you even want, anyways?

hi im back!!! i was rotating my blorbos in my brain again n i thot about their tism

i think their stims r kinda subtle??? not like full body stuff or full arms/legs but like. for obs i think she would pull on the collar of her shirts or like put her hand on the side of her neck right above her shoulders n scratch that part

ths would b even more subtle than that, almost unnoticeable unless youre actually trying to recognize which things r stims and which r not. like they will just rub the back of their nails on their skin, especially on their arms, hands and cheeks.

OH AND AND AND i was also thinking about their special interests!!!!! obs would 100% be into baking n also string instruments (she plays he cello!!!!) AND AND!!! ths would be probably videogames, dentistry and more niche + louder electronic music subgenres

i could try to make playlists for them w things they would listen to but its 5am rn and im sleepy ouououiughghhh....a tragdy.....sad....

I do like Owen but it piss me of that he takes a half of each episode while there's not anything about other charcters. And it lead me to thinking how good for the show it could be to kill him off? (That's awful thing to say btw, sorry not sorry) him giving his life to rescue the team or/and TK would he so much in character and a good plot for amazing episode. Also I would love to see Reyes parents to fill that void in his life. Tk being all he's all alone in the world and them saying they are his parents too. Hi nonny, Firstly, I’m not sure which episodes you’re talking about where Owen taking up half of each episode. I’m going to go off of our last episode 3x15 Down to Clown Total Episode run time: 43m 55s

Total Owen Strand Screen time: 11m 30s (this is not just when he’s the focus but includes the whole Clown Down call) So, percentage wise, Owen takes up 27% of all screen time if you coun’t scenes with owen in the last episode. Now, while he does sometimes carry the majority of screen time in an episode (Grace carries the majority of screen time in this episode) they’ve really gotten better balancing his time. Now, for the second piece, I’m not okay with killing off Owen yet. There’s a couple of reasons. One, while I agree that him dying in order to rescue TK or the team as a whole would be in line with his character, I’m uncomfortable killing off a character through self-sacrifice who has very deep survivor’s guilt and has suggested that he won’t be a real hero until he dies. It’s in the same reason I wouldn’t want Bobby on OG to die in the early part of his storyline when he wanted to. There is something important in both Owen and Bobby as characters working through their trauma in therapy and being able to continue living rather than suicidal risks because they wish they’d died in tragdies instead of the people who did. Second, and this is big, I am not ready for TK to lose another parent. Watching TK lose Gwyn was a punch to the gut and entirely agonizing. Despite the lack of shared screentime between TK and Owen this year, they have a solid relationship. TK loves his father. Owen loves TK. He’s a messy parent, but means well. Emotionally, TK deserves to have his dad, whom he loves, still alive for some of the big milestones in his life: his wedding, his first kid. Like, TK deserves that. So no, I’m not ready to kill Owen Strand off yet. If Rob Lowe hits his four year maximum before he gets bored, I’d rather have him go back to New York and deal with his feelings there, or move up into the Cheif position now that the actor who plays Billy Tyson picked up a new firefighter show full time, and back away from major screen time.

I REALLY LOVE THINKING ABOUT WRITING STYLES becuase i think it goes under talked about but like there are SO many cool mechanics people can use in writing and its so interesting to look at differences in writing styllistically. like! i love seeing how people handle DIALOGUE if they use dialogue as their central propeller and stylize their description around the dialogue, if they are sparse about it, fi they you description to describe what the dialogue WOULD HAVE BEEN which i ALSO think can be pulled off relaly well and i think the way that people handle dialogue

also leads into how they handle perspective!!!!!! is some dialogue / some thinking done internally in the narration , does the narration stick closely to the narrator so you hear their thoughts as if they're just observations (sky is blue , XYZ thinking pattern, equal playing field) do these biases color the way they view everything can the reader SEE these biases or do they have to uncover them where are the contradictions all of these things

you can take a step back in narration and i think thast REALLY cool can create so much dramatic irony and just irony in general!!!!! an di love tragdies that are a step removed from the characters because you get very immersed in the situation as if youre in a theatre watching it happen not like inside the characteres head but i ALSO think that being in the characters head can do so so so so SO much and

i also think that the way you write can also play into it if you write in a more formal way more verbose way is that how to most accurately encapsulate the setting? is that how the main characters talk therefore thats what youre doing with narration? i think its so interesting to look at word choice bc when is word choice good, the other day i was obsessing over my usage of ad nauseum in a piece bc does it make sense there? does that fit?

and wriitng casually GOD one of my faves bc u cant write TOO casually not because its an outright detriment but like mechanical writing skills spelling etc they're avenues to access the plot much more efficieently but dont actually DO anything bad like a fic with bad spelling can be so much better than a fic that has perfect spelling but doesnt have heart but ultimately having that better spelling makes it easier to understand you know ?? and like sorry rambled but same with casual writing you can do it SO os well but when you get too casual and things get muddled thats another thing you have to examine is the narrator actually well aquaintd with us

is the narrator a character do we have to understand the narrator to get the story hell is the NARRATOR biased i love that i love when not just the protagonist is biased by the actual narrator is biased it requires such a specific set up in writing but its so fuckignng cool

Years later after graduating kuroo and sho go to college together on the same course

They are also now engaged sho was also expecting her first child Have her ex team mates tried to contact her yeah they tried she has blocked and changed her number she has blocked all toxic assholes from her life and trying to stay stress free because she is pregant and the last thing she wants is to be stressed out

Their daughter Juno was born and kuroo and sho got married and was expect baby number 3 i say because its twins this time round Sho looked back on her past and thought maybe not all stories have a tragic ending some can. Find there happy ever after its just knowing where to look

experiencing a tragdy of life because i wanted to play pikmin 3, but

•despite the gamepad itself being plugged in, the charger was not plugged into an outlet for some reason, leaving the gamepad completely dead and therefore rendering the wii u unusable until it is charged

and then

•even though i have taken meticulous care of video game cartridges for the entire span of my life, my DX cartridge is somehow missing so i can't play it on the switch either (it's probably in its own case instead of the case the rest of the games are in but Still)

#it was last night that these events transpired ( i didn't feel like digging around for thr cartridge because it was nightine)#so i was forced to play mmbn instead. and then i got stuck and lost in the internet. so i stopped playing that game too.#but today i will find the cartridge. and also plug in the gamepad because for some reason i didn't do that either last night #fiftytenpost
