okay so. i was gonna put this under a read more but it started being fun so

here's mama april mae, butt-head's mom in opalverse

for mama april mae i based her off of mama june LOL. and tammy, that trailer trash girl from vine, a bit off that woman from 1-900-beavis too, ignore the deranged implication but i always felt a connection to that design

i feel like dolly is probably in her 50s, 60s maybe? and mama is in her late 30s, early 40s? i imagine they knew each other before they had beavis and butt-head, because of how their dads met them. i imagine mama always looked up to dolly kinda? like HER mom? so them being pregnant at the same time and having kids was a weird experience for her. its almost like butt-head is dolly's grandkid. people have weird fucked up relationships, you know? i wanted that to reflect with the boys.

mama is actively mean to butt-head and hates him. she thinks he ruined her life, doesnt account for the fact it wasnt much to begin with.

dolly is more like, absent. kinda like luanne's mom, leeanne was also an influence on dolly. she dumps beavis with butt-head a lot and mama kinda grew to resent dolly a little too? i imagine mama (who was just april mae before she had to take on this specific role she grew to hate) and dolly were really close before and during the pregnancy, but then their ideas about responsibilities and stuff put a dent in their relationship. mama april started feeling like both of these dumb kids that ruined their lives were her problem and that was also dolly's fault, so she just kind of resents everyone.

i'm also headcanoning that dolly's MIDDLE name is shirley, and she goes from calling herself dolly to asking everyone to call her shirley when she's ready to leave "that life" (including beavis and april) behind, in an attempt to sound a little more professional... it doesn't work, her reputation precedes her, and beavis is unaware of her choice. he just thinks she's still off slutting around somewhere and he's not wrong... she probably has to do a lot of unfortunate professional favors inorder to get by,but it's what she's good at and it lets her get away from her old life just enough to let it remind her.

Slightly smutty Hellcheer headcanon:

They're sitting in the back of Eddie's van, the radio's playing in the background; It's comfy, there are blankets and a couple of cushions and Chrissy feels herself blush wondering what he usually does in here. While he's expertly rolling a joint, she picks up the magazine with the Dungeons and Dragons article and reads it, when she closes the magazine again she's kind of fidgety almost nervous.

He asks, taking a drag from the joint before passing it to her.

She inhales the smoke deep into her lungs like he'd shown her and tries not to cough.

He gives her an evil teasing grin and she playfully slaps his chest.

She gets chatty when she's high and the last time they smoked together she'd embarrassedly told him that she didnt go all the way with Jason yet, not for lack of trying on Jason's part though.

"Look, I'm a simple man, you keep talking about getting' and he lowers his voice and leans in as if he's letting her in on a secret, the way she did earlier' "some back door action, I'm going to think about it and I'll have a bit of a problem here..."

He vaguely gestures towards his crotch. Chrissy's eyes go wide when she realizes.

"Oh...oh!!!...you mean...Oh my god I'm sorry...wait...because of me?"

"Yeah... you're driving me crazy, isnt that obvious?"

"So you ARE into that?" She giggles and he's just glad she's not crying anymore.

God he loves the sound of her giggling, he runs his hand over his face shaking his head.
