Im going to choose to believe that zuko fought to keep her horse, took it to ba sing se. (they had to wait even longer and pay extra to get a ferry that allowed animals) Had to find an even more run down apartment that had a stable in the back. And when they finally got their own tea shop in the upper ring zuko spent all her money on expensive feed and other horse owner necessities for it. And when she was deciding if she wnted to join azula, one of her thoughts was ‘wait but can i take Lily to the fire nation…’ (I read a fic where the horse was named lily) AND YES she took that thing on that damn air balloon to the air temple.

One day I will write a one shot abt this🙏

As a small child, my voice wasn't as squeaky as most little girl's voices are, which got occasional comments from my peers, up to a blunt "why do you sound like a boy?" from a girl my age who I'd just met. I specifically remember feeling proud and pleased about this at the time. I was 5 or 6 years old. To this day I still think of my voice as being androgynous, though I'm aware that's not really true (I am reminded of this whenever I hear my recorded voice played back).

#draco speaks #absolutely insane I have a Trans Moment ™ memory going back THAT far #I hadn't thought about that memory since I've realised I'm enby until now #genuinely completely certain I was proud of the fact I was thought to sound like a boy at that age #...I have a very vague feeling I often played the 'dad' when we played house in the playground as well but no concrete memories #I preferred playing dragons or horses so I was never that interested in playing house but went along with my friends #and I was always the tallest so when it was all girls I think I was the dad #lol
