“…It’s your problem. A deep, deep problem. I have no right to know. I don’t have a method of stepping into the depths of your heart without getting it dirty. So I’ll wait. When you want to talk, when you think it’s okay to talk… Talk to me. Until that time, I’ll wait.”

throwback to the time i worked at danny trejo's donut shop and we had a work meeting and he was there filming b-roll for an msnbc interview he was doing and he complimented my hat that said "ARM TRANS WOMEN DISARM THE POLICE" and then sat down next to me so they could get promo pictures, that was a pretty cool day

For those that don't know, musician Ezra Furman recently came out as a trans woman on social media to share with her followers.
But, a bunch of reactionary and terf websites and blogs picked up on the news and have been harassing her nonstop for weeks. As any one of us who have withstood even a fraction of that can tell you that that takes a huge toll on you mentally. She can really use the community coming together to support her. You don't have to like her music - I personally love her music and have for a long time - but this is about supporting someone in our community (both jewish and lgbtq) who needs it right now.
Please take some time to show a jewish, trans mother some love, she needs it.

Trans people deserve the same freedoms of gender expression as cis people.
If cis men can wear skirts, dresses, jewellery and makeup and still be considered men, so can trans men.
If cis women can have short hair, not shave or wear makeup and wear suits and still be considered women, so can trans women.
To all the trans people reading this, I hope you have a wonderful day and know that you are loved

Because there arent many posts like this for transfems here are your reminders to...
Take your estrogen/progesterone! Refill your prescription if you ran out/will run out soon!
Stop tucking if you're experiencing pain, numbness, etc., or have been tucking too long!
Hydrate! Even if you aren't thirsty, if it's been more than a few hours since you drank something, please do!
Be kind to yourself! No matter where you are on your trans journey, know that you are valid and loved. ♡

10/20 - My friend is homeless and trans with stage 4 cancer, and she recently found an extremely good deal on a trailer she could live in. The cost is $400 and after that she will probably need money for repairs. Anything at all helps. Thanks so much to everyone who shares and helps out!

I tried to find something about this to reblog and share, but I didn't see anything so I wanted to put this out there. More than 1000 authors have all signed a petition to stand in solidarity with trans rights and essentially condemning J.K. Rowling's TERF views.
This includes Stephen King (which coincides with his Twitter drama with Rowling from before), Margaret Atwood, Neil Gaiman, and more big names in the industry.
Look at those beautiful trans supportive authors!
The Google doc with the letter and a list of the authors who signed it can be found here:
Here is a link to an LA Times article:
And here is a link to the Guardian article:
I thought, given all the sincere disappointment I've heard from people who loved her books, at least this gives you an alternative source.
Trans rights are human rights!

there’s so much positivity for trans men who enjoy feminine things or are gnc, but let’s show some love and support for trans women and trans girls who still enjoy masculine things or are gender nonconforming. they are still women and still absolutely wonderful
