The implication Laserbeak spent 2 hours patiently playing tea party with that little girl kills me. He even politely puts down the cup before causing havoc rather than throwing it away, priorities lmao. The fact he "only" kills her dad like he was tasked to and spares her and her mom could be taken as a "proof" he did have a good time so he thanked her a fucked up way

So a few months ago I saw this post about this 80s Honda car; which I reblogged below this post- and I fell absolutely in love with it.

This weekend I discovered that TakaraTomy had made a Transformers Masterpiece on that very car and I got obsessed. (To the point of getting help getting it lmao)

Who are the characters' patron gods ?

We know Nefertina's patron goddess is Bastet, it's the topic of a whole episode

Ja-Kal's is not very consistant, it's a falcon and they keep alternating between saying Ra and Horus as if they were the same character... but sometimes in myths they fuse into Ra-Horakhti so they CAN be his patron gods fused as one !

Armon's is a ram, so it is natural most people think about the most known ram god, Khnum. But since Khnum has wavy horizontal horns belonging to a breed that no longer exists whereas Armon has normal ram horns like we know them nowadays, I would be inclined to think Amun is his patron god since he can sometimes be represented as a ram with circular horns. Plus, similar name lol

Rath's is much harder because there are tons of cobra gods. And a lot are goddesses and we don't know if their patron deities have to fit their gender or not needed. Renenutet ? Meretseger ? Wadjet ? The goddesses of the Ogdoad ? Plus the show doesn't always make the gods very accurate (WHY THE HELL DID THEY MAKE SEKHMET A VULTURE !?!) so maybe other gods who usually are not cobras but simply snakes like Nehebkau or Werethekau ? Or straight up other gods who would have been drastically changed for that show like Sekhmet has been ? For now I go with Werethekau, being a goddess of magic and he is a magician

Scarab may not be a mummy, he has similar powers and is beetle themed so we can suppose he has a patron god too. And there is only one beetle god in Egyptian mythology, Khepri

Arakh and his son Kimas are scorpion themed. There are a few scorpio goddesses, no male, so it could mean gender does mean nothing. The most famous and powerful one being Serket it is probably her and either because they are father and son so it is special or because Arakh is a jerk who does not see Kimas as his own person but just an extension of himself they share her as patron goddess... OR One has Serket and the other has one of the others, Sepertuenes, Ta-Bitchet, Ifset, Wepetsepu, Sefedsepu, Batcheh, Metemet-Nefertiyes, Sefet-Sefekh, Iset Hededyt, Iset Ta-Wahaet... but I will go with the first I think, less complex, more in-character from Arakh, they have the same talisman who links them to each other, and some scholars think all these goddesses are actually just other forms of Serket anyway

and after some time of trying to let go everything even yourself , slowly after losing everything you thought you were, everything start to make sense one again Life can be so unsure, so beautiful and so fucked up at the same time but who I am to judge it on my point of view yesterday while taking to a  good friend I realized that you do not have to be the closest to a person to feel so happy and comfortable around them You do not need a bunch a people in your life to fulfill the spaces someone left a long time ago or to fullfill the emptiness that is inside of you. Sometimes you just need the right people around you to remember and understand that there are so many flowers blossoming in the world, so many waves to take and so many people to know, but only a few will make you feel a deep connection on this earth. When you feel you have lost everything you start to value and appreciate that more than ever, even though when is gone you can start to appreciate it and be grateful for it because in the end , at least it happened. I had been feeling so down, alone, and disappointed of myself, for everything I have done in my life and wonder if it had had any sense the way I lived it. As my most says all the time "learn from the bad and always keep the good" I want to start living again, start a new path for myself, start dreaming and making possible all those dreams I have always had. I want to stop comparing my journey with everyone else, we walk a different paths in this life. So for today I decide to be the strong , bold , brave , audacious, crazy girl that once I have been, the girl that would not mind what people think of expect of her, the girl that would trust any dream coming to her mind would a possibility to be true. I am trusting myself and the power I have to pursue my dreams , as time is relative , so is the path, and so is life . I know I wont be easy , I think it has never have but I decide to learn from all my mistakes and stop overthink everything that is happening. For now, I am understanding that we are butterflies going through the faces on and off, one day I feel like a caterpillar and the other I am so ready to spread my wings to fly , and again I return to be a caterpillar to focus in myself grow from inside first in order to be able to have strong wings once again. I believe in transformation, we continually change in order to find ourselves, sometimes it can be contradictory, believing in something now we used to reject so deeply, but that is the root of the change, embracing something we used to deny and as life is a contradiction so are we.

Stuff I Learned about Blindness When Writing Cecile

Cecile is partially blind and went blind at the age of 10 after a car accident fucked up her brain is the basic gist of her blindness. (She can tell when lights are on and can vaguely see shadows but its still difficult to distinguish.)

A lot of this information I learned was by a) having a blind irl friend who is super open to talking about his experiences, and b) articles written by blind people

Because it’s the 22nd century and I’m sure disability aid would have gotten much better in terms of technology, Cecile has these bracelets on her wrists and ankles which help her navigate the world around her, they act like sensors and they vibrate faster the closer she gets to something

she still bumps into things sometimes when not paying attention

she writes music through braille and can play instruments through memory and ingrained movements she knows since she was a child

Cecile dreams partially with some visuals from her childhood and things she knows what they look like, but when she dreams about Blitzwing, she doesn’t see them, she imagines them through sensory and non visual stuff

Some blind people who go blind later in life have eyes that can still track others, usually from auditory cues, which is why you will see Cecile being drawn with her eyes “looking” in certain directions. It’s literally just her muscles still working but being unable to really transmit anything to her brain

She can tell food apart with help and by picking at it with her utensils

She experiences sexual attraction via sensations, voices, smells, and way of speaking (all of which are extremely appealing aspects of Blitzwing to her, especially his voice and how much bigger he is than she is as a human and as a Decepticon)

Romantic attraction is purely personality based however

She has a phone which doesn’t really turn on the screen and instead it narrates stuff to her

Cecile was taught by Silky (her assistant robot) a lot of stuff but also receives help from him as well

Cecile can cook some basic meals but needs help with the stove at times

The only reason she doesn’t know who Blitzwing is nor does she recognise him is because she doesn’t pay attention to the news/isn’t on the internet

She doesn’t actually know how big the Cybertronians are until Blitzwing holds her in his hands for the first time and she actually feels how big he is

Cecile actually refuses treatment for her blindness because a) she views it as a punishment (which it obviously isn’t) and b) the surgery, even by 22nd century standards, is still very risky and could risk brain damage

She actually grows to accept it and does by the time Blitzwing comes around and doesn’t really want to change

She has some mannerisms of a sighted person, but she tends to remain very still when seated

Cecile’s suicidal ideation/self harm/depression comes from familial abuse, being overworked, feeling unwanted, and overall loneliness and not because of her disabilities

(not related to her blindness, but I figured I’d mention her other disabilties/physical health issues) she has albinism, severe scoliosis, and pretty bad asthma
