For my fellow young adult transmascs
For those of you who, like me, are in the process of applying for your first “real” jobs, or maybe going to college, or moving away from home: I know it can be really scary and dysphoric, especially since a lot of us haven’t been able to/just don’t want to medically transition, or perhaps you are still closeted. But I am here to tell you, it really doesn’t matter if you pass, or if strangers gender you correctly every time, because the way you’re percieved by other people really doesn’t change the fact that you ARE YOU, you ARE the gender you feel you are, and you are super valid! We’ll get through this mess, and we will kick the world’s ass together! I am proud of you, and I love you, and I totally believe that you can do this. You are so much more than the world’s perception of you. Now let’s turn on that playlist that makes us feel good, throw on our binders and dysphoria hoodies if we need to, and face life with pride and belief in ourselves!

Hey PLEASE be wary of Dr. Gallagher and spread the word. Rylan (testosteronejew on Twitter) got top surgery from her in August. Here's the thread he wrote about his horrific experience.
He had severe complications that were completely dismissed by Dr. Gallagher. She kept telling him everything was fine, that it was because of his weight, and made a joke about him "menstruating" as he was bleeding from a torn incision. When he was rushed to the ER weeks later, he had over half a foot of dead tissue removed. He could have died from the infection (that she blatantly denied he had).
And in Rylan's own words, "My only desire is to keep our community safe. There are so many trustworthy top surgeons in the world. One of them saved my life. Transition is a beautiful process and we deserve safe access to it. I do not regret top surgery. I regret choosing Dr. Gallagher as my surgeon."

5 weeks on T.
Bottom growth is already more than obvious. My wife and I were in the bathtub, looking at it. She was inspecting it, feeling it. Reported it getting harder and thickening between her fingers. Like an actual dick.
I then looked at it, pulled the hood back, and was immediately thrilled by how much I could pull it back, how it looked underneath the hood, how it popped out. My Bun said it looked like the beginnings of an actual penis. I was grinning, happily playing with it.
And then it hit me. I've literally never felt happy about my genitals before. Ever. Never had a single positive feeling about it. During first puberty as a teenager, when the first sensations of arousal appeared, I only ever got angry and wanted to punch it to make it go away. I have always been so dissociated from it. I barely acknowledged it existed. I didn't masturbate until 21 years old because of this. If it wasn't pissing me off, I was fully ignoring it.
And now, I'm actually happy about it. About this little tdick that's growing and making me realize it actually is possible to be happy and feel at home in my body. It's been so long since my body has actually felt like home. Since before first puberty. It's feeling like coming home being lost for so long.
Y'all, this is why this shit saves lives. This is why gender affirming care is healthcare. It's so necessary for the people that need it. Everyone deserves to feel at home in their bodies.

if you dont know, the supreme court just allowed Idaho to ban gender affirming care for trans youth !! please send love to any transgender youth you know, especially anyone in Idaho.
this is absolutely terrifying, as a trans youth myself living in a state absolutely filled with right wing individuals, i am scared for me and my fellow trans youth living in ANY state, but especially red states like mine.
i'll reblog this post with anything i can find on how to help stop this, and you should too. please boost this, this affects all trans people, but especially trans youth, who already lack so many rights just for being youth.

my surgery will be fully covered by my health insurance (it’s a miracle! It’s also HOW IT SHOULD BE EVERYWHERE, jfc) but if you’re feeling inspired in a send-some-money way, I’d love it if you’d donate to Point of Pride, which provides monetary assistance to trans folks for whom cost is a barrier in accessing gender affirming health care. 🙏

Here's to transmasculine headmates!
The limits for gender are endless, regardless of whatever sex your body was assigned at birth. This goes doubly for plurals, who often have members that don't match the body's gender/appearance at all. Today's for transmasculine sysmates!
Shoutout to:
Binary trans men
Nonbinary and xenogender men
Transmasculines of color
Disabled or neurodivergent transmascs
Those who experience dysphoria
The ones who don't have dysphoria, or dysphoria that fluctuates
Transmascs who enjoy traditionally masculine things
Transmascs who enjoy feminine things!
Those who are gender non-conforming and/or pronoun non-conforming
Trans men/boys who are in cis bodies/primarily cis systems
And absolutely anyone I missed!
You're so amazing! Being trans in this day and age can be hard sometimes; however, you're still here and going strong! I believe in you, always! We're here for you!
🖤💜💙💚💛

you can find my fund here.
it would also be extremely helpful if folks could share this link on other platforms and social sites!

it's a new day! it's okay to be different from who you were, and it's okay to feel a connection or none at all. we grow and change with time, and our growth is beautiful. even if it seems downhill, you're still growing. today, remember to treat yourself kindly!

if you want to try testosterone, you don't need to stop yourself from doing it. it's okay to be scared and nervous, but i promise, any judgements in your head are lies. you won't be ruined or changed forever. you won't have made a mistake if you end up not liking it. you will be just as wonderful as you are right now, and you will have grown and learned about yourself. no matter what happens.
self exploration and empowerment comes in many forms, and going on T could be one of them. but you won't know until you try!
