i was very excited to write this because, y'know, berdly my beloved <3

you didn't specify if you wanted headcanons or a oneshot, so i wrote headcanons. and i wrote this as "berdly and reader are already dating before reader comes out as transmasc." let me know if you wanted something else!

oh also, i cursed in this a little. here's your warning.

obviously, berdly supports you!

i headcanon that he has some sort of genderfuckery going on himself, so y'know

he'll use masculine terms for you.. almost aggressively? like, "Look at my boyfriend! The super cool masculine dudeguy!"

he's trying his best

if it's a bit too over the top for you he'll stop though

berdly will most certainly buy a shirt that says "Trans Ally" on it, in really big letters of course. he'll also buy a trans flag for you

after you come out to him, he'll stay up all night doing research

the next time you see him, he excitedly lets you know about all of the information he gathered on various trans things- hormones, puberty blockers, binding, surgeries, dysphoria, different identities, et cetera

if and when you start to consider things like hormones and surgery, he'll support you every step of the way

also, he signed like. 50 or so trans rights petitions he found online

if you have a new name, berdly will help you acquire and fill out the paperwork to change your name on your student record and librarby card

if you decide to bind, he will help you pick the best binder possible going off of prices, reviews, sizes and such

he'll remind you to only wear your binder for eight hours maximum each day, and take at least a day each week to not wear the binder

he'll also remind you to stretch out your ribcage and chest area often

if your parents are less than accepting, berdly will write a 10 page minimum essay to call them out on their bullshit

berdly will definitely point out any characters from games he plays with transmasc characters

whether it be canon- "I heard of this game called Tell Me Why a few months ago, one of the main characters is a trans man, just like you! Are you interested in playing it?"

or headcanon- "There's this game I played a little over a year ago called Bugsnax, I think you might like it. One of the characters, Chandlo, is headcanoned as trans by a good portion of the fanbase. I just bought the DLC, do you want to watch me play?"

if you plan on getting a haircut, berdly will look at different styles with you. and if you don't want a haircut, whether it's because your hair is already short or you like your hair long, he thinks it's cool

What is a QPR?

QPR stands for Queerplatonic Relationship!

Queerplatonic relationships are most commonly used for Aspec people! (People who are on the Aro and/or Ace spectrum!)
