nothing more gender euphoric than shouting "YEAHHHHHHH" at a show when the band asks the dudes to holler and having no one around you bat an eye

One question I see asked a lot is whether or not you can go on T and avoid certain effects like bottom growth, facial hair growth, or even potential hair loss. Usually the answer I hear is no, but I wanted to say that this is not entirely the case.
While it's true you can't pick and choose with extreme specificity, people looking for some masculinizing effects but not others might want to ask their doctors about going on testosterone and finasteride. Finasteride is a hormone that limits the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). You may have heard about the anti-androgen properties of finasteride before from trans women and transfems, but it's an option for anyone looking to limit the impacts of T. Despite being closely related, T and DHT actually serve different functions in the body.
DHT is largely responsible for bottom growth, face/body hair growth, and fat redistribution.
Conversely, testosterone on its own is responsible for increased muscle mass, increased libido, oilier skin, and a deeper voice.
So, by using finasteride to limit the conversion of testosterone into DHT, you can limit its effects without limiting the effects of the T as well.
I don't hear very many transmasc circles talking about finasteride, even though people are unknowingly describing it on a daily basis. Hopefully this post helps with that.

Hey, I noticed you have tips on how to masculinize your gesturing? I gesture alot when I talk, and also when I listen, it helps with visualization as I am very much the type of person who thinks in pictures, but gesturing alot is seen as very feminine, and the cis guys around me don't really gesture at all. How do I make it more masc?
alright so this is a fun one for me, because every single person i've ever met has immediately told me how faggy i am and how gay all of my gestures are. i very much walk, talk and act like a stereotypical flamboyant gay man. so here's what i'll try to advise you, from my baby trans guy days when i was trying super hard to pass as a binary guy.
obviously staring at other guys irl is awkward, but watching how your male friends gesticulate helps. what i honestly recommend is watch how guys gesticulate in movies, tv shows, youtube, etc. emulate their gestures, how to square your shoulders, how to sit with a wider, relaxed stance, how to reduce hip swaying when walking, etc.
honestly it sounds kinda dumb but watching other guys and seeing what they do is what worked best for me. i passed as a cis straight guy for about 2 - 3 years, early on in my transition. i'd tell someone i was gay or trans and they'd go "YOU???? REALLY???" all i did was watch my guy friends and emulate what they did. humans are really just monkey see monkey do at the end of the day.
i hope that helps!

Finally making a pinned post!
Hey, I’m Mackie (or Mack). I’m a black, bi, transmasc enby who’s a verse and switch inclined (more sub-leaning these days). I use they/he pronouns equally and interchangeably.
In reference to me and my body: I like being called a good boy, toy, prince/warming up to princess. I have a boycunt/mancunt/pussy/bonus hole and a tdick/tcock/dick. My chest is just a (post top surgery) chest.
Please have your age in your bio; 18+. Messages and asks are open (my cut off for sexting/dirty messages is around 23, no younger.). No unsolicited pics (at least chat w/me first). Don’t be weird or an asshole. You WILL get blocked! That also goes for misgendering or referring to me as a woman or anything like that. You’ve been warned! Racists, bigots, TERFS, all the -phobes since there’s so many of y’all, that goes for you too!
Ps. I’m US based, so US time zones.
Now for the fun stuff 😏 (this is subject to change as my interests change.)
Green Light:
- Breeding (not actual impreg)
- Praise kink
- Fauxc/st
- Daddy kink
- Somno
- Some CNC
- Some restraining
- Clothed sex
- Teaching kink (teach me how to please you)
- Overstimulation
- Roleplaying
- Objectification
- Royalty
- Corruption, Manipulation, and Control (not to the point I’m entirely reliant on someone)
- Misgen (sexually only [she/feminine terms]. Outside of kink I’m comfy in my gender)
- Impact Play (spanking, slapping)
- Humiliation/Degradation (not into public humiliation)
- Free Use (w/ppl I’m comfortable with like a partner or friends)
Orange Light:
These are things that can be discussed/explored.
- Detrans (I’m comfy in my gender)
Red Light:
- Scat
- Race play
- Weapon play (especially guns)
- Impact Play (punching)
- Actual rape
- Necro
- Blood
- Long-standing/permanent bruising; Serious violence
- Feederism/ED
- Vomit
- Gore & Vore
- Needles
There’s bound to be more I couldn’t think of at the moment. I’ll add them as I think of them. You can always ask me 😇. Updated 07/13/23

Listen I know it’s cringe to shop at Hot Topic in the year of our lord but like it doesn’t have separate sections for men and women, it has a wall of pink, and it’s laughably easy to steal from its perfect
