If you ever find yourself mad about "trans lesbian separatism" or "baeddelism" or whatever word you've found to paint trans women having solidarity/community with each other as exclusionary, have you considered not burning every bridge you have with transfems while expecting us to be the ones to put all the effort into rebuilding them while you hold the burning torch, and maybe JUST MAYBE considered listening to us when we talk about transmisogyny and worked to making this a safer space for us.

Like I dunno I think if I had a problem where transfems deal with such scrutiny and vitriol in the queer community that trans women have their whole community ripped out from them so they seek out like-minded trans women who aren't going to abandon them the instant that associating with them would negatively affect their social credibility and I was someone invested in TransUnity™ that the solution would be to work on the transmisogyny problem to make my community a safer space so they wouldn't feel the need to do that instead what y'all are doing which is which hunting for trans women you can brand as exclusionists for the purpose of excluding them. Which you know, only makes the "trans women don't feel safe in the queer community" problem worse. This is literally yall rn

Make sure to remind TERFs (trans-exclusionary radical fascists) that Roe v. Wade being overturned is their fault too.

This year, they started chipping away at trans rights early on, and TERFs were more than happy to help! In fact, they were the ones to suggest the Ohio girls sports bill!

"Oh, I can control trans people's bodily autonomy? Sign me up!", they said!

"Trans men might still be able to give birth, we shouldn't taint their bodies with testosterone!" they said.

"We should tooooootaly grope children to make sure they're not trans!" they said.

"Trans people should not be allowed to transition! Especially those stupid girls- I meaaan, trans men. We don't want them to lose their precious uterus. What about white babies- I meaaan, what about the children????" they said.

And legislators saw that, and they knew that people were okay with having a minority's bodily autonomy removed now. And they got bolder and proposed the "don't say gay" bill, which TERFs helped with, too!

The cauldron's been brewing for a while, and TERFs have been working on it too. They've been shoving minorities aside, working with fascists, thinking they'd only ones with special treatment by the right-wing, and are now acting surprised and weepy when it didn't work.

And now we're here. TERFs, this is your fault too.

Now you can either fight with us, and know that our bodily autonomy is tied to yours, and they don't care that we're two different categories, they will fight to kill us all or subdue us (notice how after going for queer rights, they went for abortion and are now going for POC rights too? We're all tied together), or you can shut the fuck up. You haven't been helping so far.

Don't let TERFs weaponize their tears and act like they're the only victims here. Or that they didn't have a hand in it. Keep pushing for trans-inclusive language, this is NOT a women's issue only.

And know that every time you push for a minority to lose their rights, politicians smile and start plotting to take away yours too. Let this be a lesson.

The problem with “women and non-binary” spaces is that you’re implying if not outright saying you just want women and non-binary people are women to you. The idea that a woman only space also includes non-binary people who don’t necessarily identify as women is just a further ideology of “non-binary is woman 2” or worse that non-binary is a third gender.

It’s the same problem with “women and trans women” spaces. Those who identify as women are already included in the first part, it’s YOU saying they’re not meant to be included with the latter half.

Both "Transandrophobia" and "Transmisandry" come before "Transmisoginy" when you search for it, with"Transandrophobia" being one of the top results when you type in "trans" into the search bar. The average post from the top Transandrophobia blogs where they Critique and Analyze cropped screen caps of transfem's posts behind their back will get thousands of notes of praise for RATIONAL and REASONABLE they are for speculating that a throwaway line about "trans girls taking the piss" is actually a joke in direct reference to an anon led sexual harassment campaign of a trans man.

And due to the new tagging policy all that's needed is to mention the word for it to come up in the tags. Which has resulted in half of the #transmisoginy tag being mired with trans androbros crying about how their not transmisoginists, or that they're affected by transmisoginy, or that TME/TMA distinctions are just interagating them about their genitals. Which is by the way AFTER I've used the notes of the posts by the aforementioned top transandro blogs as a blocklist to block these chuds by the thousands. I STILL have to to sift through trans andro post after transandro posts to find a post discussing transmisoginy IN THE GOD DAMN TRANSMISOGINY TAG!

It's been nearly half a year since @/humans announced that they were "working vewwy had :(" to unban the #tgirl tag when they've proved that they can unban tags within a week. Meanwhile the #tboy tag was never flagged to begin with. Hell. Trans women can't even post a selfie in the #transisbeautiful tag without risking attracting the attention of sissy porn chaser blogs.

And EVERYTIME we point out transmisoginy whether it's the "megapope was right" discourse, calls to "critique" gender affirming care for transfems under the pretense that it affirms the patriarchy, obvious "best of both worlds " trap jokes, or a crossdressing cis femboy streamer being treated Height of Gender™ who "no one else does it like". EVERY TIME we point this shit out we are met with condescending TMEs treating it as the Transfem Crusade of the week. Who belittle, talk down to us, and position themselves as the educator to us aabout our own oppression. Who tell us that we are taking things out of context, that were overreacting, that we don't have any reading comprehension, that we don't understand basic theory, and that we're just looking for anything to be angry about.

But no keep crying about how trans men are ignored and talked over meanwhile transwomen are overprioritized and "dominate" the trans conversation. Because surely we haven't been told enough about how we take up too much space.

This is probably gonna sound kinda messy since I'm just spitballing here, but I feel like Tumblr's TE/RF problem/Staff not really doing any moderating kinda plays hand in hand with the whole "queerest place on the internet" schtick. Since a good majority of Tumblr's userbase is queer, or at least allies/left enough that blatant right-wing hate speech is easily nipped in the bud with little human interference thanks to auto modding, TE/RF shit flies "under the radar" as a lot of it is cloaked in progressive language and posted by people who loudly proclaim themselves to be feminists with pastel profile layouts and flowery profile pictures like Sanrio characters of old black-and-white photos of feminist activists.

If Staff just doesn't straight up have TE/RFs or sympathizers in key positions of power here, it could be quote unquote "allies" who are too chickenshit to do anything out of fear that either they or the entire company will be labelled as "misogynistic" an refusing to stand with REAL Wombxyn or something.

This is all just total conjecture based on what I'm seeing.

I associate disgust with bigotry and fear. (This is in the context of attraction and "genital preference" ) the reaction I expect if there is a lack of attraction is a neutral one ... Perhaps similar to that of seeing someone's feet if one does not have a foot fetish. Instead I tend to see a lot of fear in the disgust expressed in these conversations.

#(This is my thoughts and they aren't fully formed as they do not hold up to all scrutiny. One critique I have is how sex-repulsed ace people would fit into this blanket statement (I don't know) so any help would be appreciated)

i was using he/him pronouns for her, because at the time of our breakup that's what she used.

she used that fact to argue that i was trying to make her into the aggressive abusive butch transmasc cliche when actually i'm the monster tranny who wants to shove its dick into everything and she's a poor weak fragile creature who can do no wrong

this worked.

Friendly reminder that last year (2021) in Italy, a group of politicians (among who was Mrs. Cirinnà, the woman who proposed and passed the law on gay civil unions) was trying to pass a law that would protect queer people, disabled people and women from hate crimes.

And you know who opposed it (aside from the right wing)? TERFs.

Because they didn't want to band together with trans people.

And the right wingers brought them up as a "gotcha!" to the other evil queers, and then tried to get trans people removed from the legislation, so we wouldn't be protected.

To my knowledge, the group said no.

In the end, the law wasn't passed anyways.

Out of pure hatred for trans people, TERFs (so-called feminists) went against a law that would have protected cishet women as well.

They are not your friends and they don't want to protect you.
