Your daily reminder that if you think black face and black presenting are similar either historically or looks wise you are wrong and that is a YOU problem because it is inaccurate to say that they are the same thing because that erases the actual history and β€œart form” of blackface and waters down the harm blackface caused.

Saying being trace is racist is like saying being transgender is sexist. I get it, new things may make you uncomfortable, but you need to stop with your bias. Trace individuals aren't hurting anyone, the same way Transgender people are not hurting anyone.
Heart breaking to see so many tracephobic Trans people.

This is for anyone doomscrolling this tag:
It's ok. These people will never be accepted into society. You don't have to keep looking at it. Eventually the shock factor will wear off and it'll just be disturbing and painful.

Hey. If you’re doomscrolling in this tag, stop. Drink some water. Go look at something you actually want to. Remember, no one in their right mind is going to accept these people, so stop subjecting yourself to racism, ableism, transphobia, etc when you could be doing something better. These people are against recovery, so if you really want to piss them off, the best way is to be kind to yourself.

If you're transid, you have a right to have as much fun with your transidentity as you please just as much as you have a right to be completely serious with it.
You have every right to be the way you are.

I think the biggest appeal for the rq/transid community is the fact that it lets you put a name to some complicated emotion you're facing and move on.
"I'm transrace!" usually means "I have some complicated family history or trauma that leaves me feeling out of place even my 'own' people, and this word helps me feel more at peace"
"I'm transabled!" usually means "I am already disabled and that disability doesn't feel severe enough to warrant my accomodations so I feel guilty"/"I wish my disability was less severe"/"I have some disorder that makes me wish my mind or body was more broken in some way"
So on, so forth. Even the labels I do cling to (transage and transplural, as well as some secret ones ;P) have some deeper, important meaning or nuance behind them. This isn't a case of "white people wanting to say slurs" or people who want to fetishize disability, this is people with really complicated problems that, for all the activism the mainstream has accomplished, still aren't being taken seriously or getting the attention and care they need.
I don't care what your label is, I don't care about your reasoning. You're safe here, you always will be. That, at least, will never change.

i know people talk about how they as transid people don't fit the stereotype that a lot of anti-radqueer people put us in, but shoutout to the people who do!
shoutout to white to asian transracial people! shoutout to asian transracial people who love cutesy aesthetics! shoutout to people who's transids are mostly just cosmetic and change constantly! shoutout to transracial people who are most comfortable as a handful of races other than just one! shoutout to people who's transid identities are intrinsically connected to their kinks and fetishes! shoutout to transautistic people who found their identity through tiktok! shoutout to people who found their transids through pathological lying! and shoutout to any who've i've missed!
you're not any less transx than the rest of us because you fall into a stereotype. you're valid, and i love you.

I fucking love all of you, everyone in this community, whether I know you or not, whether I agree or disagree with any of your views, I fucking love you in any way you want that to mean. I care so much about all of you and goddammit we will change the future together. Stand with your brothers and sisters and siblings and creatures and robots and gods and everyone and everything and the things who are not perceived.
We will be okay.
The tides are fucking changing and we'll be okay.
Get some rest, God speed to all of you, may your nights and days today be amazing and know I am always, always here. For all of you.
I know sometimes it's a shit show, but we're gonna be recognized.
That day will come.
And it is coming soon.
Praying, wishing, and spelling.
Goodnight.

Antis or Ex-radqueers doomscrolling:
Dude, relax. As fun as internet drama is, this is literally never going to become mainstream. Ever. It's never going to be okay to wear blackface in public, it's never going to be okay to publicly call yourself " transautistic. " There's a reason radqueers don't" "come out" to their friends or families.
As hurtful as this community is, it's small. And it really only exists here on tumblr. You're going to be okay, and just because they don't understand what's wrong with their beliefs doesn't mean they wont grow out of it eventually.

People can be trans whatever the fuck they want and it's not my problem.
I have dysphoria about not having a TAIL!
It's not hard for me to understand that other people feel like they should be an animal, or that they should be a different race, or a different neurotype.
Just because you don't personally experience this or don't understand it, doesn't mean it's not real or valid.
