Dear Vector Prime, Is Grandus in any way related to the Metro Clan (Metroplex, Metrotitan, Metrobase) of Transformers? He's a pretty big fellow to just show up out of nowhere.
Dear Biggest Battlestar,
Grandus’ mighty size and strength is in fact not the product of his construction, but of his own hard work. Once a Cyberdroid of planet Master, Grandus found the idea of piloting a lifeless Transtector body unsettling, akin to developing a single giant phantom limb.
Still wishing to be of use to his fellows, Grandus continued his training well past that of the other Cyberdroids, supplementing it with a special diet of locally sourced oils and energon. Instead of just learning how to transform, Grandus developed an incredibly potent superstructure, allowing him to upgrade his body well beyond the means of most normal bots. By the time he was assigned to the Battlestars, his hard work had allowed him to rub shoulders with natural-built Titans!

I I also have a masterforce Prime au about Miko getting a transtector and kicking ass, do you have more details about your au?
Uh, lemme see
I know that out of the Autobot headmasters (Powermasters? I haven't decided which they would have), Miko is definitely the biggest and strongest. Like Breakdown, her alt mode is an armored truck, though her driving skills (Or lack thereof) rival that of TFA Sentinel. Miko ends up proving she can wreck with the best a little earlier than in canon, and she wears the wrecker's insignia instead of a standard Autobot badge.
Raf essentially becomes the Autobot's Soundwave. I'm unsure of what kind of car his alt mode would be, but I know that it would be able to keep up with the likes of Bumblebee and Smokescreen. Or at least it would if he could reach the pedals.
I'm unsure of what Jack's alt mode would be, but I know he and Raf don't go out into the field anymore than they do in canon.
MECH's transtector is nearly torn apart for study, but Silas quickly realizes what it is and decides that this will be the perfect meld of man and machine. After Nemesis Prime crushes him, his men figure out how to permanently bond him to his transtector, only for him to turn around and kill them all in favor of joining the Decepticons, though I'm not completely sure whether or not he becomes a science project. Breakdown's either alive and on the ship or alive and rogue, so he doesn't become a suit in this. At the very least, Knock Out and the Vehicons are gonna have it out for him for gutting Breakdown.

PIMPERNEL OF THE PIOUS POOLS | SCOTTA OF NEBULOS
Scotta Sun-Yutara Dia never knew her full name. Her parents and her home were a mystery to her. From a young age, she had been alone, the memories of her mother and father hazy and indecipherable. She had been moved from city to city, from group home to orphanage, the names of which she didn't remember well. Everywhere she went, her mixed blood had brought her shame. No normal Nebulan had warm-colored blood and a mat of hair on their head, and an odd otherworldly aura surrounding them. Scotta had a Nebulan parent, but who was the other? How'd they make someone so strange? Hairy, odd-blooded, freak... all were names she had become familiar with. And if she wasn't treated like an undesirable, she was treated with fascination, like an anomaly. To be called out for her appearance made her self-conscious, and she often found herself hiding her hair and mouth with scarves, cloaking her abnormalities as she traveled. Because of this, she kept mostly to herself, and explored her fledgling interests: throughout her childhood, she had become fascinated with nature and space, carrying different books with her to pass the time if she needed to. Despite her hardships, Scotta's eagerness to learn never subsided, and truthfully, neither did her compassion for others. They were simply hidden if need be, as the Nebulans she'd come across rarely reciprocated it.
Scotta lived as a drifter, in and out of orphanages and group homes until she was sixteen years old. It was then, on one fateful day, when her life would change forever: as she traversed the Nebulan wilderness, she came across a wounded Autobot who begged for her help. Nebulans already knew who cybertronians were, due to a history of the two planets collaborating scientifically; and with her desire to help the cybertronian in any way she could, she said yes--and suddenly, she was Pimpernel.
Pimpernel was incredibly disoriented at first. The longer Scotta stayed in the suit, the dizzier she became; and eventually, she keeled over and fainted. It was around this time when a group of Autobots, granted permission by Nebulos to patrol the area, stumbled across Pimpernel. The group leader was Aftertouch of the Pious Pools, an elite Autobot commander with an affinity for alien life, and a known empath. Upon attempting to read Pimpernel, he sensed something was wrong; he couldn't detect the emotions of the Autobot, and concerning still, a haze of static filled his processor when he did. His team returned to his ship with her, and it was there where she was checked for any injuries. They detected minor ones, but nothing that would cause her to faint, and they didn't detect energon deficiency either. They also didn't detect the organic tucked away in the head of the strange Autobot. Left alone by the others, Aftertouch interrogated the waking Pimpernel. What was her name? Where was she from? What unit was she assigned to, and where was she meant to be? Receiving no clear answer, he was unsure of what to do. He ultimately decided to let her stay with him until he found where she belonged; but when her head would suddenly detach from the body, transforming into the suit of a tiny organic, Aftertouch finally realized why she had been unable to read.
Their conversation was long, with many questions still left unanswered; but ultimately, aware of both their fears of a small organic in a cybertronian environment, Aftertouch insisted Scotta stay inside the suit, detaching from her transtector Pimpernel only if she was alone or if her situation proved too dire to remain hidden. Scotta agreed, and with the help of her new guardian figure, created a cybertronian identity for herself. The once nameless transtector was named Pimpernel, and she adopted the Pious Pools designation from Aftertouch. Finding a way to integrate her into a low risk environment, she became a mechanic for the fleet’s low-priority ship-related issues. While it was difficult at first for Scotta to adopt her new persona and connect with the other Autobots under Aftertouch, she eventually found new friends and even family, staying true to her word of keeping her organic self a secret.
One lingering question would remain though, to Aftertouch, as his days with Pimpernel would go by. The Nebulan essentially didn’t know who she was, where she was from, or how she found herself in this strange transtector suit. This frame that looked so much like a cybertronian, it was practically lifelike. Who was Scotta, and how did she get here? And what is Pimpernel?
-
The story of Pimpernel begins not with the transtector, but a Cybertronian by the name of Cepholos of Nova Cronum.
He attended the Tetrahex Institute of Developmental Science and studied mnemosurgery, graduating near the top of his class. He was reported to be calculated and efficient, and showed signs of mastery earlier than most of his contemporaries. However, all this prowess would be put to the side, as Cepholos found himself devoting more and more time to organic research. After pursuing organic studies, he became a pink alchemist: a cybertronian who collected and harvested organics in order to turn their blood into energon. While it was a Decepticon practice, Cepholos kept his neutrality during the operation.
His interest was piqued when he learned of plans for an Autobot-backed organic research program, known as the Headmaster Program, that was meant to find a way to bring willing organics into the war against the Decepticons. The research was to develop suits made from constructed, sparkless cybertronian bodies that would host the organics; and Cepholos, due to his experience with organics, became the head of the research division, second only to the lead supervisor. Their experimentation and engineering on prototype suits proved successful--however, understanding that bringing organics into a Cybertronian war could have amoral consequences, the Autobots pulled their support from the project, and many of the researchers and engineers working on it left. Only those who were devoted to seeing the final product were left, Cepholos among them. The lead supervisor who remained grew discontent with the Autobots, believing he didn't need them to achieve his scientific goals; and Cepholos, his close second, also believed in the pursuit--but one day would suddenly change what he saw in his research.
It was around this time when Cepholos learned of his terminal illness: an incurable, processor-related disease that, while taking a long time to become lethal, was incurable and would guarantee the death of the cybertronian. Cepholos, believing to be nowhere near the prime of his life, grew paranoid of death, and found himself looking for any way to cheat it.
His optics turned to the supervisor and the Headmaster Program. His decades to centuries of organic research and pink alchemy had given him plenty of knowledge regarding the processor of a cybertronian and the brain of an organic, and he devised a theory: if an organic consciousness could successfully merge with a cybertronian processor, then the cybertronian could potentially use the organic's brain as their own. Yet this theory would require a set of experiments before it could be applied to the Headmaster Program's prototypes, and so, using his cunning, Cepholos persuaded his supervisor to develop technology that would experiment on live cybertronians instead. If he could prove that living cybertronian bodies could work as conduits for organic processors, then he could cure his illness. The head supervisor, gullible and determined to make his scientific achievement, greenlit the next step in the program. Numerous researchers volunteered to be the first living transtectors, undergoing a brutal surgical process that moved their brain modules to their chasses, implanting an artificial T-Cog in the place where their processors had once been. The process was proven to be lethal in its first few runs on live subjects, and when researchers began to grow hesitant to volunteer, Cepholos persuaded his supervisor to force them to undergo the process instead. What were once willing participants were now kicking and struggling on the medical table, as a giant machine hovered over them, sedated them, and cut them open. Many more would perish to this procedure, but eventually, the program began to see successful conversions. Live test subjects were no longer adding to the body count, now able to walk freely as if nothing happened; and that was when Cepholos finally knew it was time. Volunteering himself to be the next subject under the machine, his processor was moved, and an artificial T-Cog was implanted, successfully turning him into a living transtector.
Unfortunately, the procedure would negatively affect his illness, weakening him considerably. Yet, his goal was complete, and he found no more use in the Headmaster Program anymore. One night, he convinced his supervisor to throw a party for the coming success of the program, inviting every researcher for food and drinks. Cepholos, on one end of the table, gave a toast to prosperity and progression, and they all drank from their glasses.
Days would go by without a word from anyone, and when the facility that the program operated in was located, every last researcher, engineer, and manager were found dead, even the leader of the program himself. Cepholos's body would be found in the morgue, alongisde the other failed live experiments.
Yet Cepholos was not dead. Slipping away, he left Cybertron to begin the next step of his plan. Now that his frame had been successfully converted into a vessel, all he needed was a host...
...a host he'd find in a lone Nebulan who looked unlike any other, with naivete and a compassionate heart despite everything he'd soon learn of her past. By the time he found her, he had weakened considerably due to the side effects of the procedure on his processor, but he found that he had no need to struggle to remain autonomous. All he needed was a silver tongue to convince his future pilot, and when she agreed, he was no longer Cepholos.
His brain module and Scotta's organic brain formed a binary bond, linking the two into one. Cepholos's bodily functions gave, save for his spark and his processor, fully entrusting them to the Nebulan as his pilot.
All temporary, however. Cepholos does not want Scotta in his head. All he wants his her brain, her mind, to serve as his. A way to preserve his life, at the expense of her own. Of course, it may take time, and he is nowhere near the strength he must be in order to take over, but perhaps he will, in time. He already has half of what he wants; and once he has everything, he will finally be whole again. For now, he waits as a voice in the back of Scotta's mind, guarding her deepest of memories and feeding her the subtlest of thoughts. Now that his ill processor is no longer an issue for him, Cepholos has all the time in the world to wait for the day when he is finally free... and he can be incredibly patient.
------
Misc trivia:
Scotta has been with Aftertouch for 6 years, making her 22 years old.
The only other Cybertronian who knows Scotta's secret is Glare, who would become her second guardian figure.
Cepholos is the source of Scotta's amnesia, his organic research and mnemosurgery experience giving him the skill to successfully manipulate and/or cloak her memories.

Inhumans x Heart of Steel: Not to infodump about Transformers, but Midoriya is 100% a Headmaster (I swear to Nedzu that's their real name.) meaning he can still pass off as human, only to summon his transtector and link up and also transform into the Hercules.

"This is the end of the road for you Super Galvatron! "
In a Universe where Bots and Cons posses super modes and other powerful enhancements, a lone, disliked and hated bot goes on a journey to find his place in the universe. On his journey he met many people but only one stood by his side during their Darkest Hour. His fellow powermaster partner Firedrive(Shaoshao Li), who unable to merge with any transtector gets sidelined and eventually fired from her ex-team, met him on her way to Tokyo before being ambushed by evil predacon headmasters. Together with the help of the transectorless powermaster Hot Rod merges to form Super Rodimus Convoy and defeats Predacon Menace and thus creating Vigilante Fire Duo.
Rodimus super form was inspired by many designs and concepts, such as: Fire Rodimus from Zone, Energon Rodimus, Brave Police J-Decker, Power of the Primes Rodimus Prime toy and many others.
Transformers, Hot Rod, J-Decker, Firedrive, Shaoshao Li belong to their rightful owners The Super mode head "Hot Flame Convoy Head for Upgrade Armor" was made and belongs to Steam Shield's Bot Foundry on Shapeways. This digibash i guess belongs to me

Transformers: Mosaic #396 - "Human Component: Giga"
Originally posted on July 3rd, 2009

wada sez: As previously stated, Lord Giga is the other commander of the Overlord Transtector, alongside Lady Mega. So far as I can tell, the Eisenhüttenstadt castle is neither a real place nor something from Masterforce, but presumably it’s the same location as in Lady Mega’s strip? I’m not sure that the defeat of Buster and Hydra is a particular one from the cartoon; Super Ginrai first appears in the appropriately-named “Heroism!! The Birth of Super Ginrai”, while Overlord would finally show up in the appropriately-named “Super Ginrai Gets Blown Away in the Desert!?” Mas’s usual commentary and extra fanart below.

Well... while waiting for the "normal" mosaics, that is to say the non "human component" ones to be finished.... the truth is that I have 4 or 5 scattered all over the place for half a year or more....
We continue with those of Masterforce, which serve as a way of introduction for people who have not followed this series.
Today is the turn of the Decepticon Emperor.
Someone was saying that he’s reminiscent of Mister Sinister from X-men.... it’s true, he recalls that character, although surely it will be because it is in black and white... generally I don't paint in color these mosaics... because with the volume that there is to produce and adapt all masterforce if I had to paint them myself or distribute them all around the world to be painted, the thing would take too long, so I prefer to leave them in black and white, even so I think that this somewhat minimalist touch suits him well, besides being quicker... also I try to keep a chromatic range for each of the groups.
What I have modified have been the eyes, in the series appears with normal eyes but I prefer to leave them white or keeping that reflection or robotic glow, to somehow identify with the character or faction.
The story as all of this type intends to focus on the character, logically, and reveal small details of his personality, his position, location, etc ... we could continue further, but it is as always, ... a page can only do so much .... however I think that all the Human component have the ability to "combine" creating a continuous storyline ...
I hope you enjoy it... we will see how is the next one... in a few hours we will show the "making off".
Thanks for looking or reading.

At last, meet my second Transformers OC: FREEZE-RAY.
Born with a flightless cyberbird alt-mode, Freeze-Ray dreamed of soaring the skies with the likes of Cybertron’s Seekers. When the war broke out, the advent of the Headmaster Program allowed him to finally soar the skies and stars. He is fiercely loyal to the faction that provided him his transtector body, the Decepticons.
Freeze-Ray has found success operating in frigid and frozen environments, utilizing his transtector’s slick tetra-jet form. He is well kept, and not often seen with the more brutish of Cons. Despite that, he is a merciless, cold warrior, with a demeanor to match. He prefers the company of other like-minded Seekers.

Note
hello vector prime I have a question what happened with the autobots X in transformer g1
Dear Mind Merger,
I think you may have already seen the end of the story of Autobot X, in the pages of Generations Selects. In order to humiliate and defeat the Quintessons, an aged and dying Spike Witwicky transferred his mind into a new body composed of multiple Neo Autobot City components: Neo Autobot X. But I suppose you wouldn’t know the chain of events that lead to this rebirth. I shall tell them to you now.
Sparkplug Witwicky had never feared death. While obviously an untimely death was something to be avoided, he was a practical man, and accepted that human beings got only one chance at living. Even as he and his son became embroiled in the Great War, he put his faith in the Autobots, many of whom he considered kindred spirits, like-minded tool and die men like Ratchet and Wheeljack. On one occasion, even knowing the associated risks, he trusted the Autobots with the very life of his son, Spike’s mind being transferred into the failed Autobot X prototype. After that terrifying episode ended, the prototype was stored away, and life went on.
Sparkplug grew old, and watched with pride as his son grew as well. The Autobots came to Spike and Carly’s wedding, Bumblebee bringing along the Peruvian villager Luisa and her brother’s convertible as his date. They came to the birth of Sparkplug’s grandson, Bumblebee in awe as a tiny hand pawed at his smallest finger.
Would they be there at Spike’s funeral as well?
The thought made Sparkplug shiver. Was his son’s time with his closest friends destined to be a mere blink in the eye for the Autobots? Why should Bumblebee be left behind as Spike moves on?
Thoughts raced in Sparkplug’s mind. The Autobots and the EDC had used data from the original mind transfer experiment on a number of projects over the decades. Binaltech, the Eldedroids, even the Kiss Players… Autobot X’s DNA lay in all of them. There had been other advances too, old technology rediscovered as heroic young men and women used the power of the Masterforce to transform, culminating in a borderline miraculous copy-pasting of personalities when their transtectors became true Transformer life-forms.
Using his connections and seniority among the Autobot’s human allies, Sparkplug began what became known as Project Neo: the development of inert Transformer bodies to be used as full-body prosthetics in the event of catastrophic harm or death. Unfortunately, Sparkplug wouldn’t live to see its completion, dying in 2040 shortly after the founding of the new Cybertron Alliance.
Only when humanity began its stellar adolescence as the age of Angolmois and the Selectors arose did the project bear fruit. Using the full processing power of the Mother Computer at Neo Autobot City allowed for a safe and secure mind transfer. Sparkplug had informed Spike of the project near his death, and to his credit never forced the idea upon him. In truth, I see the value in such a technology if used for good and the protection of life, and like any parent Sparkplug wanted to give his child every possible option. That said, only under the threat of death did Spike undergo the transfer. Perhaps as he grew older and reliant on the slavery of the Selectors did he begin to feel some disconnect from the Cybertronians around him… For shame.
As humanity and the Selectors spread out among the stars following the abandonment of Earth, the common adoption of Neo Autobot X technology was but the first step in the multitude of evolutionary branches that would bloom from the humans. If nothing else, it brought the humans and their Selector partners closer together.
I cannot help but see my brothers and sisters in this story. Such great change, all stemming from the love of a father for his son. As humans become Transformers and vice versa, I believe we find the truest glimpse of Primus’ dream.

TFP AUs I Probably Won't Expand Upon
Exactly what it says on the tin. Just little AUs I've thought about but probably won't do anything with.
Masterforce AU - In which several headmaster and powermaster transtectors land on Earth. Three of them are found by the Autobots and are used by Jack, Miko, and Raf, while a fourth has been snatched up by Silas and MECH. Whether or not this means Breakdown avoids being used as a suit by Silas is anyone's guess.
Terrorcon Cliff AU - In which Cliffjumper's death was recent enough that the dark energon truly reignites his spark. Aside from a new uncanny valley effect and hearing the voices of Megatron and Unicron, he's as healthy as ever.
Out of Body Experience AU - In which Bumblebee is able to fight off Megatron and prevent the Decepticon leader from returning to his own body. Unfortunately for Bumblebee and the Autobots, it means the base now has a new permanent resident.
Earthspark AU - In which the kids get lost in a cave and stumble upon the Emberstone. Their Terran partners would all be original characters.
Action Master AU - In which Bumblebee's T-cog, while functional, isn't as reliable as it used to be, leading to him becoming stronger, faster, more alive to make up for the loss of his vehicle mode.
Miko & Arcee AU - In which Arcee is Miko's Autobot partner. I'mma be real, this is just an excuse to her face off against Airachnid.
Seaspray Lives AU - In which... well, you can figure it out. He and Wheeljack hunt down Dreadwing for trying to bump them off and decided to stay on Earth. To the surprise of nobody, Seaspray's alt mode is a boat.
Primal Mode AU - In which Optimus actually uses the T-rex mode he acquired in Rescue Bots. Whether this leads to the other Autobots taking on beast modes remains to be seen. At the very least, Bumblebee takes on the raptor mode one of his rescan toys had.
Fourth Human AU - In which Smokescreen picks a fight with one of Jack's classmates at the beginning of Legacy and they need to be brought back to base. Smokescreen is assigned to be their partner, which doesn't go well considering their initial meeting.
Actual Beast Hunters AU - In which Project Predacon is successful and the Autobots begin hunting the beasts before they can harm humanity.
Pretender AU - In which an unaligned Pretender lives among the humans, but comes out of hiding when the Cybertronian war threatens the humans they've come to care about.
Operation: Bulkhead AU - In which Bulkhead is the one to be captured by MECH, and whose corpse is later used to save Silas' life.

AU Mon: Masterforce in TFP
I've got a bunch of tf ideas in my head, so I'm gonna start doing AU posts on Monday to share them with y'all. This week's is a TFP/TF Masterforce crossover, cause I recently started watching the latter show.
The Premise
Metalhawk and his crew (Lancer, Diver and Phoenix) were part of the crew of Autobots who were seeding Earth with energon, when they came across the crew of the Harbinger doing the same for the Decepticons, led by Bludgeon and backed by the Predacon clones Shockwave had created. The Harbinger was shot down, and the two sides joined in battle, with all cybertronians lost except Bludgeon and Metalhawk's crew. The Autobots then used the experimental/mystical power of the Master-braces to access the Masterforce and become Pretenders, taking human form and hunting down the Predacons (and inspiring many myths and legends in the process). In the end, it came down to Metalhawk and Bludgeon, who battled and severely injured each other, but retreated before either could strike a killing blow. They both fell into stasis, with a collection of Master-braces at both their sides.
Fast-forward several thousand years to Season 1 of TFP. The Autobots are scouting an area for energon, and have brought Jack, Miko and Raf along cause it's a low risk mission. The kids explore on their own and stumble upon Metalhawk's resting place and activate the Master-braces, turning themselves into junior headmasters and reviving Metalhawk with the energy surge. Metalhawk explains his story and joins the team, helping teach the kids how to use the Masterforce safely and wisely.
Meanwhile, not too far away, MECH is also scouting for cybertronian tech or biology, and stumble upon Bludgeon's resting place. Silas activates his own Master-brace, and Bludgeon decides to ally himself with the group, though his motivations to do so are unclear.
My Notes of the AU
AU starts between Operation: Breakdown and Rock Bottom, probably specifically between Operation: Breakdown and Crisscross, which in turn makes the latter episode more interesting with Jack and Silas having headmaster capabilities.
Jack's Headmaster form is Bluefire and his transtector is a blue truck with red flames. Miko's is Songblade, her transtector a pink and black sports car. Raf's is Radar, his transtector being an orange compact car.
Silas might also recruit two more Headmasters for his side, who could be two of the Destron Headmaster Juniors from Masterforce (Wilder, Cancer and Bullhorn), OR Sierra and Vince, for some interesting conflict among the kids OR two OC MECH soldiers.
Lancer, Diver and Phoenix are either dead and gone (which could be some nice angst for Metalhawk) OR they are all also in stasis, but their resting places have been lost to time, until someone stumbles across them during energon scouting, mining, or relic hunting.
That's what I've got for you guys this week. See you later!

i'm like 2 seconds away from dropping the pimpernel & scotta lore bible bc at this point i dont wanna care about making it a mystery anymore, i wanna reveal all the horror that is this character's underlying story so i can go ham with more art and stuff for her. be aware that scotta is in grave danger
Anyway- did you know that her favorite color is actually pink? And that alongside astronomy and engineering, she's a fan of botany and entomology? She has a little greenhouse at Glare's place in Uraya, where she tends to different organic and cybertronian flora. Hiking is a pastime of hers, and whether she's with Glare or Aftertouch, they find time to take her someplace special where she can fawn over the natural wildlife. She knows a lot about earth flora too, but that's the extent she knows about the planet. The pimpernel flower isn't necessarily one of her favorites, but she loves how the name sounds, and it matched the transtector's purple hue (some pimpernel flowers are indeed blue-purple).
