Mikanko Promise
How cute! It's Ha-Re (right) and Ni-Ni (left) as little kids! I don't really have a whole lot to say here, honestly, other than that it's a cute little scene that I have absolutely no context for. It does look like maybe Ni-Ni has been crying, so perhaps this promise (whatever it is) is Ha-Re’s way of cheering her up. Regardless of context, it’s a really cute scene with a gorgeous and well rendered background. If nothing else, the dark shadows of the woods and the light filtering through the tree creates some fantastic contrast.

I think one of my old comparison layouts that feature different Regional Cover Arts for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Trap Card, ”The Spellbinding Circle”, will have to do in preventing me from posting something stupid out of my current emotional moments.
In my Stash folders, I reserved an edited version of the Israeli Flag. Where the Star of David should be, I digitally removed it, and placed a Blue colored Pentagram in its place.
I will not post such a troublemaking, controversial point that I’d like to make about the hypocrisy of Human Beings during the current war going on. But it was still fun to make.

Stars Align across the Milky Way
Part of me really wanted this to be an explicitly space themed card (cards I can't ever get enough of), but, all factors considered, this is a really clever card across the board. Based on the legend celebrated through the Tanabata festival, Shinobaron and Shinobaroness Peacock represent the Japanese deities Hikoboshi and Orihime, who are separated eternally by the Milky Way (portrayed as a heavenly riven) and only allowed to meet once a year across the banks of the river (represented here by the tail feathers of a Shinobird Token). To further this analogy, these deities are represented by the stars Vega and Altair, explaining the "Stars Align" part of the name.
They really nailed all the details here to make a beautiful card, honestly. They especially nailed down all the color choices here, from the Milky Way-like colors of the tail feathers to the contrasting blue and yellow nebulous backgrounds behind these two. The loose white and blue feathers even provide a nice pop of contrast with their boldness. I get that the entire Shinobird Token is depicted here to emphasize that this is a Shinobird card, but I would genuinely like this art better if it was more offscreen, rather than personally taking up a whole corner. Its elongated peacock tail feathers are the bigger focus, after all.
